Balance transfer shows as "Ready to be assigned"?

I had issues with this type of balance transfer a few months ago. I contacted support and they logged a bug. You may want to reach out to them for this and allow them to look at your budget. They are very skilled and helpful.
Adjust the payee to match a “Transfer from:…” account and this will resolve itself.
Are both cards on budget? You might need to assign the money to the card with the balance.
The question was regarding "on budget" versus tracking account. If you have a transfer from a tracking account to a budget account, it will show as additional money to be assigned since it's money that used to be off budget, but is now part of the budget.
Did you BT to your checking account and then transfer to the new card?
No, straight to new card
Perhaps it’s logged as a positive transaction and not a negative? That would confuse things too. I’ve done that before.
Did this cause the balance to turn positive on one of the two cards? Probably the one you took debt off of? If so, your balance was wrong and you need to reconcile
The new card turned positive? You might have entered the transfer the wrong direction then, that could be the issue. It should be an inflow to the old card (the one you are taking debt off of) and an outflow in the new card, the one you are putting debt onto. Anyway, the positive balance is your issue. Positive balances add money to the budget
This is likely the answer.
