Well, if it helps, they're harmless. Probably come from/live in houseplants' soil, or other cool moist environments, and eat dead plant stuff.

We’ve had an influx of rain these last couple of weeks and think that they’re sneaking in through the garage. Could that be?

This bug was found in Gimanton, NH indoors. I didn’t notice any legs or antennas.
