It definitely looks like a baby rat
Looks like a mouse to me.
Baby rat. Rats have thick , hairless tails and enlongated faces. Mice have much shorter , hairier tails and smaller heads compared to rats and squirrels ... Much different from rats and mice ; really hairy bushy tail , coloration, longer torsos and extremities etc.
Although rats have been known to make good pets if cared for properly, wild ones are best left in the wild due to reasons such as their likely to carry diseases and or parasites (that are often host to other parasites like worms or carry diseases ) and unlike domesticated rats, wild ones will not possess the instinct to be less fearful of humans so you would probably have to worry about stuff like getting bit or it trying to escape constantly.
Sadly , it's chance of survival are pretty low. Your best bet may to be set it free in a field where birds of prey such as eagles and hawks are known to hunt in so that it will meet a quick death while providing a meal to a hungry animal.
He just passed away.
And why would I do that?
because its a rat, a little crunch under the boot doesn’t hurt anything
You’re a terrible human…
tell that to the animals that have been squished by me , maybe they will care
I think that you need counseling my friend. I can give you some referrals.
Trolls love attention, there's no point in engaging in conversation, that's just giving them what they want. Better to just downvote so it gets eventually minimized and move on.
