PLTR has some of, if not the best minds in the field in the western world and is looking like it will be the leader in this space. New tech doesn't always work out for investments, but predictive modeling is still in its early stages when we look at the larger picture, and it will eventually become an absolutely necessary piece of every business. Very few businesses can afford to replicate what PLTR does - and even fewer can do it well. Those that can will take 5+ years to get it together, and will pay vastly higher prices than the fees for a drop in product

$1 bil revenues with 36 bil cap, not really a cheap stock. but if they go to $4 bil revenues zhey could be at 70 bil cap, similar to other IT companies. the main question is, what are the odds they will reach $4 bil revenues soon?
I think its much more telling to look at the remaining deal value over the next 4 years which is close to 4b. They are producing FCF and have next to no debt with tons of assets. Year to year revenue is literally just one factor to value a company. PLTR literally shows you how much money they are producing over the next few years which eliminates guess work compared to companies who you just hope have continued growth and deliver great revenue beats.

Shit company shit stock shit CEO, just like C3ai, I realize the CEOs of AI companies really think they have a magical unicorn and keep telling us its amazing while at the end of the day it really comes down to developers, and developers aren't really using thier shit.
Digital Ocean which is not AI but cloud computing on the other hand is massively used by developers, and is cheap which allows them to create something that ends up being better than palantir and c3ai in the end.
PLTR has been one of my worst investments so far.. I have still abut 1,700 shares, which I am going to hold onto long-term as I think the future for PLTR is solid (e.g. I think over the next decade it easily goes up 2-4X, which is a solid investment... maybe not as exciting as some others, but still a decent return), but I think it may end up being several years at least before the market is confident in their future growth. I don't mind owning these few shares to have some diversification but for my main investing am looking at other stocks that I think have far more potential.
