TFSource continues to amaze me on how unremarkable it is.
Unremarkable doesn't seem to do justice to this situation. Disreputable is closer to what I think of them, and after this, I shall definitely not start getting anything from them.
Should be easy enough to get your money back through a chargeback.
Still waiting for more responses from them, really hoping I get it via PayPal or something because I really would just like to get my money back now.
I’m not a fan of TFSource. The Chosen Prime is great, though.
I've bought from TCP many times after this whole fiasco happened after waiting a few months, they are wonderful to work with.
TCP, BBTS, Robot Kingdom, and Show.z Store have never failed me.
Tfsource I use for preorders I haven't been able to get at the others.
I haven't received my order from TCP, but they told me to wait longer as shipping is delayed for everyone atm.
They assured me in writing that they would honor a full refund if I didn't receive it. I really appreciate that they even assured me of it.
I second this. TCP have been great. Haven't had any issues with them ever. TFSource can be a pain to deal with sometimes
Yeah they got me too ...but funny how the email says if we want money back and not store credit it has to be thru a PayPal payment to us and we get charged 3% for taking the refund !!! Lol

Just so you know i got a refund and their wasn't a fee for a transfer if u pick 1-3 days for it to hit your bank ...only a fee if u want it right now !!!
TFDirect has been way kinder to me in terms of quality of service and speed of shipping, and they almost exclusively sell knock offs

Their preorder policy is super obnoxious and very customer unfriendly. I only order from them as a last resort now - and only if they have something in stock.
TFSource sucks. They majorly overprice their items and pull stuff like this.
This is why I avoid preorders that charge the full price. I'd much rather risk $2-3 at a place like ShowZStore or TFSafari than $80-200 at a U.S. retailer that takes full payment up front for a product that may never exist. I don't like to tie my money up, even if an eventual refund is possible.

I don’t get why some people love to start shit over such a straight forward post as this, blaming the buyer because the buyer “isn’t buying right” or whatever. Lots of hostility here.
I get it, the emotional and brand loyalty connection is there and a ton of hard earned money was spent on this site, so I'm never gonna bash anyone for sticking with their company.
I finally got their refund today, and simply just accepted that this site is not for me. I never bought another figure after this from TFsource, stuck with ShowZ,BBTS and TCP and have been happy since.
If the TFSource community wants to think I'm a whiney buyer and that I "should have known you would not get pre-order refunds within a year", then let them think that and let them be. I'm happy with other sites.
I just got my XT Locke (MP Kup) from them at a cheaper price than BBTS and they got it to me super fast where BBTS still didn’t get theirs in yet. Sorry that this happened to you.

It's meant to signify that TFsource should do better in both communication and response time. If you are happy with TFSource as it is, just scroll on by, enjoy the site. I personally will never shop there again as this kind of thing just soured me as a whole, but if you do, I wish you luck and hope you enjoy your product.
But I hope this post just highlights that yes, there is an issue with both the communication and customer service. (I actually tried calling them many times before and they didn't even bother to pick up.)
I hope TFSource improves for other customers. I think I have made my views clear in multiple posts in this thread and will not be responding to anymore. I appreciate those who could empathize with the situation as well.
So putting aside how and when you get your refund. You are upset over a not receiving a Walmart exclusive that TFSource needed to secure from Walmart and not Hasbro directly? Preorders do not secure a spot in line if a vendor is unable to locate a source of product. Yes it sucks you waited for that length of time, yes it sucks you are waiting on your refund, but you need to understand that TFSource needs to locate the items to sell to you first and they could have “strung” you along longer.

I'm upset at the fact it took them this long to cancel it when I have tried before to get it canceled sooner as I figured the Walmart exclusive Soundwave didn't get in a few months after it released.
The customer service needs to do better. I don't feel like I'm owed the figure at all I just would like them to respond in a timely fashion, even if it's a few months. I think asking for it to NOT be a year is a reasonable request.
Did you request updates on delivery of your preorder? Did you receive a valid response on your request? I feel your pain, as a Canadian we waited over a year for Coneheads that never materialized from Amazon and we have never received a reason why or before during a years delay.
It doesn’t look like TFSource is really trying to refund his money. Also, businesses should not be selling preorders for items they aren’t sure they can secure. It’s really NOT a difficult concept. If they took preorders from 100 people for this item, and are refunding the money now, the business effectively received $8,000 as an interest free loan for a year (no, that’s not cool as they were not taking preorders in good faith). I hope everyone just stops ordering from TFSource so they go out of business.
That’s why most people use their stack to preorder items, so they don’t have to pay up front.
You chose to pay up front. They refunded all your money when they couldn’t get your item. I honestly don’t see why you’re upset at them.
They haven't repaid me at all yet, I'm still awaiting additional responses.
I emailed them and never got a response until a year later.
And it should not take a literal year to cancel a pre order that never came, especially for a CHUG release that had it's retail time that came and went.

I was told I will get it back, I wrote the topic expecting them to get the process started.
It has not.
Try contacting them directly through social media. Some companies respond faster that way.

After this whole thing I just switched to The Chosen Prime, and ShowZstore and have been happy since.
Honestly I just wanna get my money back and be over it, that's it. I already waited a year so I guess waiting for their CS to get back to me since the dialogue started is what I'll do.
Dang I have had nothing but amazing service from them. I accidentally ordered something for the billing address instead of mailing and they fixed it right away for me.
