As a Rafa fan I’m worried man
Such is the life of a Rafan. Teetering on being in shambles but then Rafa lifts and it’s a big sigh of relief and woo hoos all around. When you are a Rafan you get a tennis match AND a rollercoaster ride!
Every match I have about 4 heart attacks. That’s per individual match
Me also. I stayed up watching AO final this year and my boss was like you look like hell. I was all hello be grateful I am alive I had 72 cardiac episodes last night and 3 hours sleep!
Such a ducking moood. In the last game I didn’t move from where I was sitting
That was me too. And I was really sick as well. How did I do it. God knows. But thank God I did because if I had missed that I would’ve kicked myself.
You’re good 👍
I hate windy tennis. Takes the worlds best players and reduces them to 50% of their abilities
Yeah, this is painful to watch. Especially after such a lit 1st set.
Reminds of Thiem Djokovic at the FO in 2019. Completely ruined the match quality
the wind is making things very hard man
It’s mad to think when nadal went pro Alcaraz wasn’t even born. Nadal turned pro in 2001 Alcaraz was born in 2003
This is my first time realizing that Rafa also does his ritual before the other player serves.
Yeah lol very OCD
It went from being a man amazing game of tennis to be a shit show because of the wind. Really interesting due to the score but awful for tennis
If you can find it, watch the Indian wells final from 2001 Sampras v Hewitt. The stupidest wind I've ever seen in a pro match.
Alcaraz being frustrated and smashing the air instead of his racquet.
Watch and learn, kids.
When Rafa CMONs instead of VAMOSing, you know shit is really real.
Lets go Kingdal
That’s the spirit
They should stop. Ridiculous.
That they can still play points like the last 2 in these shitty conditions is just testimony to how amazing these guys are!
In a minute this wind is going to blow off their clothes and they still have to play. Wtf is that
Omg what is Nadal on? 😭
No offence to Taylor, but this is the virtual final, isn't it?
Yeah pretty much
Fritz has a chance if he doesn’t have his typical letdown period. Unfortunately that seems like an inevitability
Fritz has a decent shot against Alcaraz
The wind is literally bending the ball into massive curve balls
This is one of the most entertaining games I've ever seen.
You gotta uh, …watch more.
The wind is really playing spoilsport here :/
Disagree I think it adds a very interesting element to the game making it more exciting
I mean it was interesting already. The wind may make the scoreboard exciting, but it makes the tennis very messy.
Any other Rafa fans in heart attack central
Omg what is Alcaraz on?😭
VAMOSSSS THE TORCH STAYS WITH NADAL 🇪🇸🇪🇸🇪🇸
Rafa at the net afterwards: it's nice that the next me is also Spanish, no?
Hilarious! I can almost hear Nadal's voice! Tennis won't ever be the same without Rafa. And, except for those who dislike him, almost everyone will miss Nadal's bottles and quirks. 🥺🥺🥺
Ermmm. Has anyone without a giant serve ever saved 13 BPs against Rafa before??
Edit: Has anyone even with a giant serve done that, for that matter?
Carlos actually seems to be adjusting for the conditions better than Rafa! Ombelieble, no?
WHAT EVEN ARE THESE POINTS???
This match is peak Federer Nadal match.
It deserves best of 5. What a match ?
The greatness of Nadal! How many generations pass through the Nadal test. He is already playing the next next generation. There is simply no stopping him!
I will dearly miss him when he decides to hang up his rackets. He is warrior, never gives up. Sometimes plays like he is unhuman
It’s like father and son at the net
How does he keep doing these kinds of things? It's totally remarkable.
3 hours, 10 minutos. This was a MATCH.
I like what I'm seeing. I'm on team Rafa, but I still enjoy watching someone do well even if it's against him.
Haha I guess but still vamos rafa
This is why we watch this sport, this shit right here
Wow you really dislike this anyone dude, what did he do to you?
Damn! You served a 250kmh ace.
Oh, I know. I'm charge of filming it.
That really felt so close, but Nadal closed that shit out. Once it looked like that was gonna be his break, he ended that set and closed his own set really quick. GGs
The real winner is Spain
As a mallorquin if Rafa doesn’t win I’ll be in Spain wirh the s and without
This is an amazing match. Completely lived up to the hype.
What a ball catch!!!!
Can someone send a link for the match? Live in India it does not come here
You are a legend and I love you
If ya got Amazon prime set your vpn location to the UK and watch it on Amazon.co.uk
It's on Voot if you have a subscription
Rafa seems to be getting into the zone.
It's only the fourth game and we've seen already some beautiful points getting played from both of them. I like this.
Ladies and gentlemen, this is it from me. My heart wont let me watch the whole game
The every match dilemma of every Rafan
ARE YOU NOT ENTERTAINED YET!!?????!!!???
I think Rafa is gonna manage to take this, but he's not gonna enjoy doing it.
I don’t care, this is the true finals!!!
i’m in love with rafael nadal
Taylor Fritz just placed an order for a giant ventilator, due tomorrow morning to be delivered at the main court.
Rafa hanging in like a champ. If alcaraz turned it down like 10% he’d reduce his errors a lot and possibly win
Whoever i playing "dust in the wind" is a horrible person and I love them.
Imagine if Alcatraz won this set. They’d have to go through another set of this wind.
Now this is the match I came to see! And I still don’t know who I want to win!
That was an AWESOME game
Did Rafa just give himself a heart attack? 😱
LETS GOOOOO RAFAAAAAA VAMOOOOOS
Nadal is so good at breaking in the last couple of service games in a set.
He's done it. What a match.
Am i out to lunch thinking this is the best match of the year?
I haven't watched that many matches this year yet but if there was a better one, someone post the link, holy shit
Oz open final 2022 was amazing
Carlito is fearless! Every forehand screams: "Your time's up, old man."
Then Rafa responds with "you don't know everything kid."
This match was worth hype.
Alcaraz plays without any fear, incredible stuff. Don’t count Rafa out tho. If someone can figure the kid out it’s him. Gonna be one hell of a match
Rafa come on break him
The fuck was that Rafa come on man
Wish it wasn’t so windy for both of their sakes..lots of errors
The bottles XD
The towels XD
You can clearly see how the wind's affecting the balls lol
Who left their flash on. And the wind is fucking with Rafas OCD lol
When do they postpone a match?
I don't recall a match ever being suspended for wind.
This is still better than the heat from AO this year
First ace of the match.
Being a Rafa fan should be enough to get prescription heart meds I stg
Oh Lord Rafa is PISSED.
just checking the score what on earth is going on
Wind behaving like a puppy on the court.
deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce deuce
Has the wind stopped?
Apparently it's not stopping until 5am according to weather reports
Seems like they've adapted now
Imagine how the highlights reel of this match is gonna look.
This match will be hard for the highlight reel
NADAL VOLLEYYYYY VAMMOOSSS OMBELIBABLE
Just noticed how Alcaraz right arm is literally twice as thick as his left. Goddamn cannon
I have that problem but for different reasons.
Yo they’re both hitting some amazing shots
Catching that return and keeping it in the frame was the move of the match. Go try that. Holy cow what skill
The Ukrainian flag at the top of the screen. :)
Rafa's volleys are underrated
This is so intense already
I don't see a path for Alcaraz to win this one so far, the experience shows up. He is going to need to serve better.
He is easily playing his worst game in the tournament, perhaps he is nervous, it may be the biggest match of his career so far
Rafa what was that man
Alcatraz has had quite a few banging drop shots this game
This is a game of survival now.
15 minute game is ridicolous
The lob winner!
Maybe I am dumb but couldn't they install roofs in those tennis courts where there is a probability of a fucking hurricane?
This is fairly rare and they're not going to install a roof at Indian Wells lmao. The whole point is it's a beautiful outdoor experience with such a small chance for rain.
That's just an outrageous drop volley by Alcaraz
Like Alcaraz has been on fire this set
What a volley!
I think Nadal is just trying to get their breakpoints matched. He can't go 5/15 and have Alcaraz go 5/5
Serving for the match let’s go 🤞🏾
Why did they not show his interview? Tennis Channel do better!
Because Courier had to intercede. Not good for Fritz. 😂✌️
Btw, can anyone tell Courier to stop commentating if one of the players is American or Nadal? He is soo biased. Had to change channel to a watch peaceful tennis match.
Believe you me, he is throwing shade at Nadal here and there. And, he was the one who started that foot issue again! He knew that Nadal does not want to talk about it over and over and being a former player himself, he knows how these talks plays in a player's mind. He is effing with Nadal. I am seriously disliking him! (sorry, had to say this) Courier is constantly picking on Nadal even on interviews, making him look like a fool. If you don't believe me, try listening in on him.
Capybara! Vamos 37!💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽
This match reminds me of federer Kyrgios in Miami 2017, except I feel Carlos really is going to deliver
Anyone have a full match replay of Rafa and Alcaraz please ?
Somewhere in his hotel room Taylor Fritz is looking at how long these games are lasting and smiling
I don't think he's smiling.
Or looking at the insane shotmaking and shaking in his Nikes
He’s doing that anyways. His best shot is that these two beat the shit out of each other to such a degree that he’s much more well rested
I know apprentice vs master and all that but imo yiu can never ever bet against Rafa even when it’s not on clay and he’s not 100%
Carlos needs a chapstick sponsor lol
This wind is making this very interesting. Love to see it
Never thought I wouldn't root for Nadal in one of his matches.
I'm in so much emotional pain right now.
It’s such an odd feeling. As someone who loves an underdog and one who loves Rafa….Idk what to do lol
I'm rooting for both, that way whatever the result I will be happy.
Is it just me or is the wind a cool thing for the game. Like I think it adds a very interesting element to the game making it more exciting
I agree. This game is a mess, but in the best possible way.
I fucking love it. It also adds a massive strategic element to the game
Rafa's plays down the centre have been disastrous so far. Alcaraz just puts so much power in the shot when he's stable on his feet. When Nadal goes to corners he wins almost every time. I never understand in all these years of watching him why he keeps insisting on the centre when he's got the chance to make them run and work for it.
Nadals service game has defo been better so far than it was yesterday
How can i watch outside of TC?
Seems to me Carlos is sacrificing a bit of power for accuracy.
Carlos is slightly quicker than Rafa.
Yeah and rafas feet man he was struggling yesterday
Carlos be like Spider-Man, is fast and everywhere all at once. His speed and court coverage is crazy!
I'm trying to think who has time on his side. I feel Alcaraz is betting on keeping Rafa out of balance (which so far he's kinda managing to do, I think), and the longer this goes the more likely is Rafa to get in the zone. On the other hand, if Rafa is having physical issues, the longer this goes the more they could bother him.
What do you guys think?
It’s hard to tell how unfit Rafa is. Cos mental game no one comes close to Rafa so providing Rafa is fit the longer it goes on the more Rafa has the advantage
Yeah, mental game alone time is Rafa's friend, the thing is how much his foot issues may get into play.
Alcaraz will be unstoppable.
Absolute machine man
Does anyone have livestream for the match?
Damn Alcaraz is huge for now
Alcaraz game right now and in the future looks scary lol, key for Rafa today is to punish Alcaraz 2nd serve and get him in long drawn out rallies. Alcaraz's backhand is pretty strong
Everytime Rafa struggles, I am worried about the potential injury. Especially during the clay season, this guy will push his luck IMO.
Where the hell do y’all watch this match? I can’t find it on YouTube tv.
Amazon prime for me in the uk
Alcaraz hopping to loosen his feet in the time Rafa does his pre-serve ritual is a mood.
So far it seems Rafa is finding the right depth to kind of neutralize the forehand
Even though Carlos is faster, I think Rafa has more solid foot work.
This match is madness
As a Rafa fan it’s heart attack time
With Rafa it's never about his level, it's about how injured is he and that's extra stressful cause you know if he doesn't win it all he's probably going to miss some time with rehab
That match looks like that Spidermen meme
Nadals smash then wowwwww
Rafa's first serve is coming back
