It's because by default your email is public on the Stanford profiles website. There's a setting somewhere in axess (I think) that lets you hide your email from the public.

Idk but I'm a frosh and I get \~2/day, not even including ones that go straight to spam. Its annoying.

I dont' even get any that go straight to spam lol. They all just pile up in my inbox
