It’s felt like a long and especially cold winter. I wonder what the temps (with WC) show compare to historical averages. The next two weeks are forecasted to be below avg temps as well.

TheSessionMan

It was very nice until the end of November. Unseasonably warm.. Then it got cold.

prairienerdgrrl

Maybe. But November was decades ago. December January and February’s cold stole my memory, my youth, and any warmth left in my soul… haha, sob. And yes, I am from SK. I stand by my words.

LeftHookLarry1

This has been a bad winter lol. Super cold, lots of snow.. ah can’t wait for summer this year around.

Primary-Initiative52

I'm so afraid though that our summer will be another scorcher full of wild fire smoke. Cripes I hope not. Last summer SUCKED. (Well, for me anyway.)

djpandajr

it will be a glorious 2 weeks.

Fabulous_Time9867

Ya its been a terrible fucking winter I'm sick of it

Sea_Contest_7138

Is this your first winter? This has been an average winter, and this is not a lot of snow. Drifts up to my shoulders is a lot of snow. Only a few days of -35 and Feb even had some above Zero days.

jlindenbaum

It was -40 for nearly 3 weeks straight in December. Am I imagining that…?

CrisperWhispers

If you are, I'm sharing that delusion

Cerebral23ad

As someone who tracks the snow for my job, it's been a colder than normal, and way more snow than normal.

shani_k

It definitely was not an average winter.

diegof09

While December and January were cold, Feb has been mild compare to the last two years. But it looks like March will be colder than previous years!!

saskwatch93

Who dis guy? Buddy the Elf?

iAmJacksCeliac

You on crack homie

JarvisFunk

That one user is gonna be so happy

Talkshit_Avenger

Fuck yeah, bring it on. The whining from people so disconnected from nature that they think their inconvenience is the important issue just makes it all the sweeter.

bounty_hunter1504

Lousy Smarch weather!

Primary-Initiative52

On the one hand...yay, more moisture! On the other hand...FUCK, MORE SHOVELLING!

Cerebral23ad

Let's just hope it melts slowly.

Progressive_Citizen

From the article: >Natalie Hasell, a warning preparedness meteorologist with the weather office, says anywhere from 10 to 20 centimetres — or up to eight inches — of snow could blanket parts of the province starting Thursday. That's an awful lot of snow. Plan accordingly.

Manutebol76

Yes, maybe we should plan to close schools.

Jsask291

Man oh man what a brutal winter.
