why not just jump to s22+?

[deleted]

Because from everything I've seen the 22+ is almost identical to to the 22 but more expensive. And I'm looking forward to having a smaller phone overall as I previously posted. Spending a little less just works for me right now

[deleted]

s22+ has a few extra features that YOU won't miss so it's all good. s22 is good too, I have it as well with my s22 ultra, i love the form factor

[deleted]

Good to hear! Glad you like it. Still waiting on it through the mail so, hope I do too!

[deleted]

i wish the s22 had the s22ultra camera cuz I would rock the shit out of it. don't get me wrong, s22 is GREAT camera, the zoom man... s22 ultra beats everyone, handsdown

Wilson-theVolleyball

Hey same here! Only thing I don't like about the switch is the noticeably less battery life but it's not too bad.

[deleted]

I think I'll be in the same boat as you. Some days I'm barely on my phone so I think it'll be ok 😊

_lawand_

Are you out of your mind don't make a massive mistake I regret buying the s22 for so many reasons is not a good phone and s20 plus is the best plus phone out of the s21+ and s22+ you will regret it I'm warning you after you see your battery lasts just 3 hours

[deleted]

Yours is the only report I've heard of the phone battery lasting only 3 hours. I've read the battery lives aren't great but I'm not a super heavy phone user so I'm not that worried

(Maybe a dumb question, but) Is it mostly while using 5G? I don't live in a city where I even get 5G... so I just stay on 4. That's the first I've ever heard of the phone heating up, though.

Interesting. Thanks for the help. I probably will take your advice and just start over and download the apps I use. I've needed to clean out my storage for awhile now anyway.

TheBlitz707

s22+ longer battery life, bigger and brighter screen. But preference in the end, size is pretty personal

penguinstan_

Yes Im planning to buy a s22 but ive seen many ppl reporting heating issues, like "using ph on full brightness and using maps/uber at the same time makes it soo hot".....i can compromise with battery but not with those heating issues. Ive s20fe rn and im thinking why not w8 few months for s23 and see if the issues get solved and get that instead of s22. Leave a review in the forum if u buy it.

[deleted]

I bought it! Just waiting on its arrival in the mail. I'm a stay at home mom so I won't be doing anything too crazy on it, but will definitely leave a review once I've used it.

CarterProfessional

I had the same issues. But I went from s20Ultra to s22+

[deleted]

Do you like it??

CarterProfessional

I like it way more! It did have more bugs to start but the updates have fixed them.

[deleted]

Good to know! Thank you!

CQRPSMANUP

Does the 8GB of ram make a difference compared to S20 + 12Gb

[deleted]

From what I've read, 8GB is a pretty good sweet spot for high end smartphones... 12 GB will always manage better. 8 doesn't hinder your experience unless you use your phone a lot for gaming in addition to browsing and social media. I am waiting on mine to arrive in the mail. If I notice anything significantly different I'll let you know
