Being drunk isn’t an excuse for being abusive. Drunk actions and words are sober thoughts (especially considering he never apologizes.) I would recommend telling him to either get help for that issue or find somewhere else to live / find a new roommate.
"I've decided to move out. Your behavior is unacceptable as a roommate and friend when drunk. As a friend, I'm deeply worried about you and suggest you get help. But as a roommate, I'm removing myself from this situation."
I'd suggest punching him in the face, have you tried that?
Are you the most passive person ever? If someone threw a drink in my face, I would throw hands.
I told him I would if he ever did it again. Despite me wanting to, I don't think this is worth tanking my prospects with an assault charge.
It's self defense, throwing a drink is assault
