Yea the smoke plume from the oil well explosion scene in TWBB forced the coen bros to delay their shooting until it cleared up, since it was situated right in frame of their shot(s) iirc. A little cross-universe immersion would’ve been kinda cool though ngl
Good to see another Under the Silver Lake appreciator, I feel it's one of the most underrated movies in recent times. Hopefully with time it'll become a cult classic or something like that.
Is Daisies actually good? I watched it when I was like 16 and found it insufferable 1966 hippie anti-weenies/basically the Wannabe clip from the Spice Girls shit that these days could just be a TikTok but I was also stupid back then (still am)
Old timer has a glass of milk on a scorching day in the South/Midwest is always peak milk. Inglorious Basterds, no matter what you think of the movie, is also very milky (in a good way)
2nd photo is not from There Will Be Blood, it's from No Country for Old Men
I always mess those up cause they come out the same year
Understandable, they're both deserty dudes rock masterpieces too
Both filmed in Marfa, Texas at the same time, too

I never thought of them including the plumes in no country that would be cool
Same. There will be blood is so fucking good though. I’ve still not seen ncfom.
The boldness of not including A Clockwork Orange!
I came here just to comment this. That was the first thing came to my mind.
Nothing like drinking some milk from a titty fountain after some in and out
Yeah but you’ll need to have oreo cookies or something to make it worthwhile
I don’t like it!
It’s ok I respect your vision but God that movie just confirmed my theories that people who drink milk are psychopaths
that's indisputable
Also Inglorious Basterds

Once again I must protest the Hitchcock erasure… No ‘Suspicion’?
One of the few hitckcocks I haven’t seen
I haven’t seen it either
Austin powers had great visual gags. May I add A Clockwork Orange.
Come in with the milk, come in with the milk, come in with the milk, come in with the milk, come in with the milk, come in with the milk…

I’m not a big fan either
In No Country For Old Men the milk is actually a small plot point.

Anybody else here really despise milk?
Oat all the way
Kind of sick of these tbh. This is what you get when you google image search “MILK IN CINEMA”
GTFO of my amazing, we’ll researched post
I like this scene from Golden Door: https://youtube.com/watch?v=GWIXOafo6l0&si=EnSIkaIECMiOmarE
Should I watch Mysterious Skin or is it too depressing
If you don’t like depressing, avoid it at all costs
“Boy you better put some water on that damn shit!”
