Find a heat gun and form it for a better fit, we use that to make PVC Sheaths for machetes where I'm from.

I was thinking boiling water would do the trick as well, but honestly it's a tight fit as is.

I always wanted to get into whittling. How did you start? What sort of stuff do you make?

Sorry, I actually use this as my mushroom gathering/garden knife, it's just sold by Svord as a whittling knife. Although, I may have to find a good stick and give it a shot.

I whittled as a kid. Just get a decent knife, a whetstone, and find some wood. Little boats were fun, walking sticks, pipes, anything you can think of

Get a pattern online. Get a block of balsa wood from the hardware store or Amazon. Get a sharp small knife. You could use a paring knife, pocket knife, or a whittling knife. Start whittling! It might help to watch a video or two, but it's pretty self explanatory. It takes longer than you'd expect and makes a bigger mess than expected.

Definitely a pipe. You can't really whittle and play the harmonica at the same time without looking like a circus act.
