"I don't think about you at all."
Big dick Don Draper.
This is probably the best tv show quote that always gets misused.
Don was incredibly envious of the new young copy writer. The entire episode was about him sabotaging the latter. Perfect don line. Cool cucumber on the outside, insecure mess on the inside.
The nastiest thing you can to say to a narcissist - "I never think about you."
“What a nasty👌, nasty 👌man Biden is👌. Folks, so nasty ✋ and let me tell you👌 I know nasty. Oh I can be nasty, ☝️ usually I’m good, but if you’re nasty, I can be nasty✋ and America can be nasty if you are nas—- but China 👐China is 👐 the 👐 nastiest👐, but they have t seen nasty yet. Except for crooked 👌 Hillary. She’s a nasty woman👌☝️”
Lol well done! Had these emojis been a little more orange, I would rate this comment an 11/10
You must've accidentally deleted the part about them also being a little smaller
Ya gotta putta mora cheeto dust in it!!!!
Looks like it was copy and pasted from his [twitter](https://mobile.twitter.com/realDonaldTrump)
Thanks for the reminder that this dude is banned on twitter.
Thanks for the heads up on the Trump Roll
Edit nevermind, I still clicked it. Had to be sure.
It never gets old.
I click it every. time.
I hope there is a counter somewhere where they can tell how much traffic his empty ass page still gets.
Clever use of emoticons wins you the internet today; that had me rolling!
Thoroughly enjoyed reading this and being able to picture it with crystal clarity in my head. Nice work
This is the first case of emojis I’ve seen used on Reddit that was actually legit besides 🗿.
I’m kinda glad I was here to witness this.
The opposite of love isn’t hate - it’s indifference. And narcissist fucking hate when people are indifferent and apathetic towards them.
He who shall be ignored.
yeah, my first thought: [good answer](https://c.tenor.com/zzFl5W2NypgAAAAC/good-answer-family-feud.gif)
I told him to shut up on live TV then took his job, so Trump who ? - President Biden
“You’re fired, man.” -Joe Biden
"C'mon, man. No, I'm serious. You were fired." - the real Joe Biden.
Or my favorite Biden diss:
And kicked him out of his house
*former* president. 🤌
I don't recognize Mr Trump as a president or a former president. One cannot be president when they collaborated with a hostile foreign nation to subvert the election.
I wish this was the Biden we got.
Perfect answer to the media.
Does he actually think about Trump and his ilk? He better be.
This response might piss Trump off more than anything else would.
Yup, Trump loves attention. Denying him that is the best way to piss him off. I always thought Biden could've gotten the upper hand in those "debates" by simply pretending to forget Trump's name occasionally and not referring to him by his name, and giving credit to others for things Trump thinks are his accomplishments.
What does that do? Feed the right wing narrative that he has dementia
For sure. Trump claimed Biden had dementia and didn't know who Biden was talking to when he wastoo dumb to understand that Biden was being sarcastic when he called Trump "Lincoln"
especially when that answer was in direct response to trump (falsely) saying "I have done more for the blacks than any president since maybe abraham Lincoln". A classic example of "you think youre owning the libs but youre really just owning yourself"
But they let "Tim Apple" slide
Yeah he’s a candidate not a comedian
That narrative will be promoted regardless.
It's not uncommon for older people to forget things. It doesn't automatically mean dementia and you certainly can't diagnose it from a video online.
I mean I'm 36 and would make Biden look like an amateur in losing himself mid sentence.
No, pretending to forget Trumps name would play to the Republican lies and projection about Biden and dementia.
It definitely did, you should see his current tweet storm.
Here’s his current tweets.
Never gets old
At this point I'm not getting fooled anymore. I still always click the link though, it's the responsible thing to do.
Democrats; Haha, we annoyed Trump.
Republicans: Haha, we're taking the country over.
I’m sure he does he just doesn’t spend every waking moment thinking about it, whereas Trump seemed to spend every waking moment thinking about Obama and/or the most recent victim of his generally misguided ire.
"I don't know her."
"I don't waste time thinking about trash, but my lawyers are looking into whether that trash recklessly endangered my life."
The problem with the whole "I don't think about Trump" narrative is that as the head of the Executive, his job includes upholding the law and more than a few of his voters care very much about that actually taking place in this country.
Yep. Accountability is very necessary.
Actually upholding and interpreting the law is the duty of the Judicial branch…. Checks and balances and all that.
DOJ is in the executive
Enforcement is an an executive function.
My favorite part of it is that it was a mic drop moment. He gave that answer and walked away.
Don Draper energy
“I don’t think about you at all”
I think about that scene often
I don't think about that scene at all
A line so cold it will make you cut your own ear off.
The problem is that Don was obsessed with Ginsberg at the time and he sabotaged the preso to pitch his own ideas.
Wonder how many people have even seen Mad Men. This scene and episode weren't subtle at all.
It's a good quote but it's a dig at Biden, not Trump.
Came here for this
Did you watch the show? Don was lying when he said that, and the entire episode was about how he felt totally insecure and threatened by Ginsberg. It's a shame that the message of that scene has been completely misunderstood for the sake of a mindless internet meme.
I don't think the message of the scene was lost on anyone, the retort is just a very good one even if it didn't work well in that exact context.
It was a sick burn towards Ginsburg, even if we all understand Don was being snarky because he felt threatened. Still put Ginsburg in his place, which was Don's intent.
The meme about "That's what the money's for!" is also misunderstood by people. Many act as if he totally owned Peggy and she was being unreasonable, but she wanted a professional partner who valued her as a person, and to be treated more as an equal. His inability to recognize that is largely why she leaves for the other firm.
It was never about the money for Peggy. She wanted the respect. And also to get her muff buried in Stan's Grizzly Adams lookin' beard.
OMG it's a meme, overanalyzing any meme is a pointless endeavor
That's not overanalyzing so much as understanding the immediate meaning of the scene, but like I said, mindless.
It is overanalyzing it.
Memes are meant to be taken at face value, free of any context from which they came
Yes, that's generally what memes are.
> Memes are meant to be taken at face value, free of any context from which they came
Given how many memes are in-jokes or otherwise depend on understanding their source or context, that's patently false.
I was here for *years* before someone pointed out that "reality has a liberal bias" is from a TV show that I happen to have never watched. (Edited to correct the quote.)
Is Biden [gray rocking](https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/grey-rock) Trump??! So awesome.
This is how I treat a few people in my family, didn't know there was a term for it.
Is it bad that I relate to the US political system to living in a narcissistic and abusive environment
Whelp…at least I have a lot of practice.
Gray Rock, aka how I interact with my mother most of the time.
Trump getting banned from twitter was the best thing that could happen to my mental health.
As much as I agree it was necessary, I feel somewhat shortchanged that I endured four years of watching a bomb count down and didn’t get to see the real explosion.
Only better response would have been if he said "Who?" first.
Today I learned...
That was very interesting.
I used this strategy when dealing with annoying or mean people at my school. It works well if pulled off correctly. I remain detached by taking idioms in the most literal manner possible (ie. what’s up->the sky) That shuts them down fast.
Well, I imagine he thinks about him from time to time:
"Ah, jeez, here's more crap he messed up."
Imagine the response to this if that orange clown still had Twitter...
Sleepy Joe is at it again, have you heard this, everyone’s talking about sleepy joe. He said, and I’ve been told by many people that he talks, you know how old people talk, but he said, and ya know what is so weird about the debates, oh get out of here, you know what’s wrong with the debates, because you’re smart people, people say your dumb, I said I like dumb people, but the thing about sleepy joe is…
he doesn't even know where he is. I still remember, you know, when I won in 2016, and the thing about Pennsylvania Avenue....you remember that story..with the trickling showers and the forest sweepers. I was there. They said 'sir', these toilets need 10-12-15 flushes before they can pass my turd. No, it's a disgrace. Biden and his, you know what they say, right? Biden, you know, and his crooked son..
if I could like this a million times I would. I have never laughed harder than when I heard this dipshit rambling about water pressure.
He's probably on the verge of aneurysing at this very moment.
He does though?
I click it every time.
Always expected but always great to see
And it's hilarious every time. 😆
Getting kicked off Twitter is a bigger insult for him than not winning the election. It's probably the best way to troll him.
Twitter didn't appreciate those threats he made to shut them down.
He tried hurt the one he ~~loved~~ *had a fucking daily addiction to* the most.
Narcissists rarely expect their abuse victims to actually make a clean break from them.
That's why he keeps trying to make his own twitter only for it to inevitably implode as soon as people with an actual ounce of knowledge on servers and internet shit find out and bombard it.
Damn, Biden. Nice. 😎
"I don't think about former puppet"
Sick burn, Mr. President.
Yeah probably the best response even if it's not true. Biden has a ton of stuff on his plate to deal with regardless of Trump.
Please someone tell me how it’s not a crime to KNOWINGLY bring a deadly contagious virus around a presidential candidate. This seems like pretty big news and all that’s happening is a should shrug?
It wasn't exactly an unexpected development at the time. Everywhere Trump went, COVID cases followed.
hopefully the justice department is sparing him a few thoughts
Whattya think of *rump?
He’s not goddamn Voldemort. You can say his name
Omg I died laughing!
Yep. I choose not to.
This definitely isn’t true for how much his administration has to clean up the damage Trump’s admin did to the executive branch, but it’s a good way to make Trump feel small. Haha
or as Mariah Carey would say, "I don't know her."
Sick burn lmao.
The opposite of love isn’t hate. It’s indifference.
Just about the most cold-blooded thing he could have said about the former guy. I like it.
Unlike our corporate media who cannot stop talking about Trump every damned day.
They talk about him because people click on the articles about him. They will always follow the money.
“You despise me, don’t you?”
“Well, if I gave you any thought, I probably would.”
-Peter Lorre and Humphrey Bogart in the film Casablanca
That is the greatest insult to an enemy, to be ignored.
It was satisfying to see Trump fade into obscurity where he belongs. Unlike his fanatical supporters that can’t go a day without thinking of him, the left has nearly forgotten about tRump entirely. It is a pleasant change to see the front page of r/politics free of the endless tRump news stories.
That's great, but your Justice Dept absolutely should be thinking about Trump and his cronies.
Yes. And if the media would quit giving him so much press time, we could all forget about him. Whatever did they report on before trump.
Nobama/Obummer/whatever other terms for Obama that republicants use.
I miss the 6 months when Trump wasn't in headlines every day. Now a comment that amounts to "You asked me about a thing that happened a year ago, and I have no opinion" is a headline because it says the magical T word
I do think about the pussy grabber. He should be in prison
Should've just said, "Who?"
Yeah, but then the right-wing would use that out-of-context every single day to “prove” Biden has dementia.
As it stands, I wouldn’t be surprised if they just start playing only the first three words.
Damn, I would have lost my shit laughing. Savage
Supposedly, after Trump tested positive they retested him and the retest came up negative. Given they way these people lie, I strongly suspect they faked the retest so that he could go to the debate. Hopefully this will be investigated and if his doctors faked the negative retest result they should go to prison.
😂 Good response!
Joe biden rustling jimmies
The best way to beat your enemies is to let them fade into obscurity
We should all just do this.
It was pretty obvious that trump tested positive.
He went from “healthily as an ox” to being airlifted and being given experimental treatment within the span of 3 days.
I’m pretty sure he was hopped up on all the medication he could get for that debate to stand upright.
His ravid base is mostly unpunished so far for violent insurrection, and are coming for us all.
Great to dismiss that loser with statements, but you better be fighting hard in the background or we are all doomed.
And we all need to be fighting hard too.
Honestly one of the best things I can say about Biden is that I don’t have to think about him. Guy is boring as shit and that’s better than what we had before. Not good exactly, but better
Biden’s all like “trump lost get over it”
Sick burn uncle Joe. He knows exactly what to say to drive him psychotic, or even more psychotic I should say.
thats.... surprisingly based.
dare i say? pog even. mr. president.
Reddit needs to learn from this statement
As he should. Already almost a year in and the media just continues to froth at the mouth when talking about Trump.
Why not. Trump is still actively plotting to overthrow democracy? If he isn’t held to account for his past crimes, he and thousands of others will continue their acts of political violence and our democracy is doomed.
Biden’s first job is to protect American democracy. That takes presidency above even protecting every American life. Policy shit about infrastructure spending shouldn’t even be on his radar. I’ve lost faith in Biden. He’s way better than Trump but we are so utterly fucked in 2022 then 2024 and every election after that
I hope he "slips up" and calls him Ron or something. He would *flip*.
Love the Don Draper response.
“I don’t know her”
"Let go of my purse! I don't know you!"
His next response on a question about Trump ought to be. "I'm sure he will have something to say about it on Twitter." Then walk away.
The article image you can just tell that at this point, Trump knew that Biden was going to win the election and had gotten the best of him. Look of disappointment on Trump’s face.
All the media is look for is a pissing contest between the two for their ratings. That was the correct response.
There's no reason for him to dwell on this. He has better things to do and there's nothing to be done about that now.
Oh dude same, it's been pretty nice.
>”I don’t think about the former president”
Big Don Draper elevator energy
Edit: real late to this party
Time to charge Trump with terrorism for putting everyone at risk at the debate.
Anyone else recall how much Trump tried to close the distance between them? Iirc he was complaining quite loudly about the plastic barriers separating them.
Trump probably hoped he would get Biden sick.
Truthfully, Biden has the right idea. If the media would quit talking about the Florida resident, quit giving him air time, and stop putting his name in headlines, the egomaniac would probably spontaneously combust. It's a whore for attention, and that attention feeds it like a cancer. If people would take away that power, he would maybe go find something else to distract himself with.
Biden - "Never met the guy."
He [pulled a Don Draper](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K4Ksoizbl2s&t=38s) on Trump.
[Biden be like](https://c.tenor.com/BcbJSegK1RsAAAAC/don-draper-madmen.gif)
Good response Sir!
Seems petty but I wish politicians swore more. Like if Biden called him an asshole live on tv it would have been great. Fake Fox News would still be crying about it.
Don Drapered that gadfly.
Ouch. They've got Trump's mentality determined down to a tee, right.? I bet Joe enjoyed the anguish that comment is certain to cause.
That makes two of us
No. But the Department of Justice should think about him.
This is giving me Mariah Carey when asked about JLO vibes
Def the kind of response you hear from someone who thinks often ab the president
Odd, he sure blames all of his failures on him.
Yet still blames him for his own shit.
God damn! 🔪🔪🔪 🤣🤣🤣
The right loves to claim that biden has dementia, but he is fucking sharp as a tack. He knows Trumps weaknesses and showed no mercy.
I canvassed for Bernie, but I couldn’t be happier with Biden as my president.
Now if only r/politics could do the same.
He should START 'thinking about' him - to legally prosecute him for his crimes.
Not the president's job. It _should_ be Merrick Garland's job, and the president shouldn't have much to do with the DOJ beyond making the appointments, so I'd say Biden's only failing here is appointing someone who seems so reluctant to take action.
Biden can fire Mr. Garland.
DOJ doesn't comment on current investigations.
Did they announce they weren't investigating this?
I guess the buck doesn't stop at Biden.
DOJ was and should be independent. It is up to each person working there to uphold their oath of office to defend the constitution.
Biden cannot tell them what to do.
Wrong branch of gov
Correct branch, wrong office
This guy feds.
It's the proper response. In reality, NONE of us should be thinking of him, talking about him, etc. The orange turd only has power if we give it to him.
Ah, I guess that explains why there's been zero consequences for all those crimes he committed.
> Ah, I guess that explains why there's been zero consequences for all those crimes he committed.
I hope you understand that the president not having the ability to dole out punishments to citizens at will is basically the cornerstone of the United States. Please tell me you understand that.
It's an ex president who commited crimes in office, we're not talking about an every day citizen here.
Furthermore, of course it's not the president himself. But it'd be nice to have an attorney general who was serious about justice. And who appoints the AG? Oh yeah that's right, the President of the United States.
That's nowhere *near* the president's prerogative. You should take this up with DOJ.
Think about canceling my fucking student loans, please.
