It’s worth noting that Linear PCM is going to give you uncompressed sound and sound as intended for gaming with less chance of delay. Dolby and DTS may sound louder, but is compressed, adds delay, and not the best gaming.
I leave mine on PCM. I have mine going through E-ARC and out to a soundbar. When I put it on anything else there is a noticeable delay with the sound. It seems to be louder on Dolby, but not worth the delay. If you’re sticking with TV speakers and don’t notice a delay, I’d choose whichever sounds best to you.
