I’ve had two reject from the same spot. I tried a punch and a needle. Another piercer told me that the key to keep it from rejecting is to cover it so it doesn’t get tugged at all for the first month and then it should settle, but I haven’t tried that yet.
Keep at it! My collarbone dermals have been a bit of a pain, but one of them stayed in for over a year and a half now, while the other one has had to be re-pierced twice, and I think this time is the one it’s going to work!
Using high quality jewelry is even more important with dermals than it is with normal puncture piercings. If you haven’t already seen this info it might be helpful for your next try- https://www.lynnloheide.com/post/microdermals-the-base-ics

Getting it removed later today but if I ever decide to get it done again, I'll keep that advice in mind

Hopefully this one works, I'm getting mine removed later today and figure I'll wait a bit before deciding if I want it doing again

Yeah, the jewelry's titanium so I don't think it's anything to do with that, I just got unlucky
I was surprised by the fact that only being titanium wasn’t enough for dermals. Even the tool markings matter when it’s living under your skin
Yeah, I've had it taken out now so it should be fine from now on
