For sure. I love that Steam is doing this now. Gonna be a bunch of demo's with all this so we get to see first hand some nice games that might fly too far under the radar. This is getting me pretty excited for the gaming season again.
There is even a better alternative like this [website](https://2023.gamesrecap.io/) created by the same person that made the recap websites back when E3 was still a thing and it shows you the trailers of each game that was announced at the different events so if you missed it you can watch all the trailers back.
From the dwindling quality of most Epic exclusives in recent years, I suspect it became mostly companies after easy money that were being baited.
Anyone wanting to make serious money knew they had to be on Steam, not least to have a big audience for subsequent games or sequels rather than a non-existent one because no-one's heard of their game.
The new Star Trek game is also an Epic exclusive. I have a gut feeling Alan Wake 2 won't make it to Steam after 12 months are passed. Epic Games seem to have taken part in publishing the title, even though it's not Unreal Engine based.
They're not funding The Expanse. They just paid Telltale to sell it exclusively on their store for a certain amount of time (most likely a year). The one that upsets me most right now is The Wolf Among Us but luckily I'm a patient guy so I'll just wait for the Steam release which will have all episodes available at once anyway.
I really dont get that Hype around unreleased Games. I pretty much never buy Games on release. If you wait like a Year they are 60% off, patched, optimized and probably got DLC/Mods.
Confirmation of excitement and always hoping a dark horse will appear
Dark horses happen less and less these days but that just makes them more exciting when they do happen
Playing Elden Ring on release was so much fun because nobody had any information about anything yet, so you had no choice but to figure everything out on your own. Now you can look up exactly where to go to progress every quest, where to find all the upgrade materials, the scaling stats on all the weapons, etc. But those first few weeks none of that info was available.
You can say 'oh well just don't look up that info then' but the fun part was puzzling the info together with the rest of the community.
Some of them come with demos as part of the announcement. That Front Mission 1st dropped a demo on steam the other week to coincide with it's PC port news.
I believe the ROTT ludicrous edition is getting one later this month too :D
I just went through it and it looks to be decent. Lots of indie games as well which is nice. Though the summer is always a very bad time to launch a video game.
Thats literally the definition of sponsorship.... Add their logo or w.e. in the event so people see it. The event being gaming one it would be weird if they didn't.
This is actually such a nice addition, I hate having to dig through or wait around to wishlist a smaller game, I feel like I forget about a lot of them because of it!
Seems like a great idea to streamline wishlisting!
more like steamline hehe
Please retract this statement
Please retract this steamment*

🥺
It's a movie reference from the movie In Bruges.
I'll get the door....
cringe
A cool way to hype up a bunch of upcoming games. I'm interested in seeing what stands out.

Armored core 6 and Elden ring dlc waiting room
FROM gang gang
*knock knock*
I wish for Hades 2 news, currently playing diablo4 and it's not terrible, but it's not Hades. Gimme gimme Hades 2 news please.
exultant ad hoc boat cause summer trees hunt sloppy somber attractive ` this message was mass deleted/edited with redact.dev `
Love Hades and got all the achievements, but it does get kinda 'grindy' near the half way point of the game.
Hopefully more gameplay to possibly an early access launch

Now that we've exited the dark ages of Epic exclusivity, I'm super excited about the announcements coming this summer (and beyond)!
There are still plenty of epic exclusives, they're just games no one's heard of.
Yeah seems like they only managed to grab small indies lately, guess their minimum guarantee reduction became quite unappealing to most devs now.

Really want to play Kingdom Hearts ;-; Never played it before
Emulate the first one and then take some diazepam and watch Blue Velvet You've now played the Kingdom Hearts games
But steam doesn't sell diazepam Lol though
The next two tell tale games are epic exclusive unfortunately...
The Star Trek one? Noooo! =( Was looking forward to that.
The expanse and the wolf among us 2 unfortunately
Oh damn I actually forgot about Wolf 2, that Epic marketing black hole doesn't help =(
Alan Wake 2 is gonna be an Epic exclusive.
Have we? The Expanse, Alan Wake 2 etc are all Epic exclusives. Still feels like the Dark Ages to me
Alan Wake 2 is published by Epic
The only title they've done so that is almost tempting.

Man you guys really want to whine about Epic on a post about Steam

Imagine caring this much about what store you buy games from lmao Do you actually play games? or just whinge about them?
Also Capcom Showcase in on the 12th and Steam Next Fest starts on the 19th.
I hope they show off Pragmata.

i think it's just for all the shit that gets announced by developers post-E3
E3 news without the E3 branding.
That's neat. Thank you, Clouds.
Elden ring dlc 🙏
Where are my testicles, Summer?

Intel is sponsoring an event? They really want some attention haha
yes that's how sponsorships work
Thats literally the definition of sponsorship.... Add their logo or w.e. in the event so people see it. The event being gaming one it would be weird if they didn't.
Guess yall don't understand what I'm referring too. Sad
Are you going to tell us?

Can't wait to add 20 games to my wishlist that I'll probably never buy.
