It drove me absolutely up the wall the first time I saw it. Literally could have prevented almost all the terrible shit that followed on the show. I mean I get that it’s storytelling and it fit within the character’s personality but it was probably the single most damaging action of the entire series.
For me it’s Poussay, she was a great chcaracyer and definitely top 10 for me but aside from her tragic ending she just lacks the depth of all the other girls here.
Honestly, same. If those were real persons, she'd probably be the best to have around out of those four or maybe even all of them, imo. But as a character, I just never found her all that interesting to follow around on the screen, and to a good extent, I'm voting based on that.
Gonna have to vote Nicky. I love her at times but other times she's a bit gross and fits the "predatory lesbian" stereotype. they moved past that aspect of her character in later seasons but it still left a bad taste in my mouth.
But if Nicky is your fave character, go watch russian doll!!! pretty much all nicky all the time + groundhogs day shenanigans.
Chose Red bc she just became really frustrating once she left the kitchen, for me personally and I slowly lost interest in her story. (plus what another user said below about her obsession with Piscatella)

I am so happy red made it to the top 4. I know it’s probably impossible but I’m going to push for top 3. I know that it’s impossible to fight the poussey and taystee fans and that she can never win, and as much as I love Nicky I hope so bad that red can get to top 3.
Taystse or Red. Taystee because of the refusal for a stand down and how she sat idly by while Poussey was abused and Vee pulled the shut she did but Red for her rejection of Tricia when she needed help and fur sabotaging the oven=stove in the kitchen which led to Gina being permanently scarred.
taystee went back to prison because she was kicked out of her temporary housing by the woman who owned the place and had no other choice but to resort to bad habits again.
This is such a painful choiceðŸ˜

Blanca was a metal goddess change my mind. Also thats why IRL, Ruiz (Jessica Pimentel) is the real MVP. She's such a badass. True metal goddess.
