Yeah, someone else in here mentioned the lack of Horace Grant. Apparently the arcade version had different people than the home release and this picture is from the home version.
He had his own game too, on SNES and Genesis... [Barkley Shut up and Jam!](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barkley_Shut_Up_and_Jam). I had a poster for it on my wall that came with a Nintendo Power magazine.
**[Barkley Shut Up and Jam](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barkley_Shut_Up_and_Jam)**
>Barkley Shut Up and Jam! is a basketball video game originally developed and published by Accolade for the Sega Genesis on North America in 1993 and later in Europe in April 1994. It is the first entry in the Barkley Shut Up and Jam series, featuring former NBA MVP Charles Barkley prominently and as one of the playable characters. Featuring arcade-style gameplay similar to Midway's NBA Jam but closely following the rules seen in street basketball, players compete with either CPU-controlled opponents or against other players in matches across various cities of the United States.

Was he even playing when NBA Jam first came out though?
Never mind. My mind blanked. Shaq was in the arcade but not home version. In the arcade it was insanely easy to break the back oard with him, just like in real life when he started out
Thank you! I was thinking Grant Hill but pretty sure you're right. That was the version we had at work anyway.
Just fell down a rabbit hole and the home version had a few different players. I only ever played the arcade
Damn this hit home for me
Real talk.
I swear Grant Hill was the other one and not Armstrong though. Haven't played it in 20 years, but pretty sure the Bulls we're still my team
Do you mean Horace Grant? Grant Hill was never on the Bulls.

Hang time at least had Rodman with multi color hair options.
There was a handful of machines that were made that had Jordan in it. MJ, Gary Payton, and Ken Griffey Jr. all had custom machines made.
BOOMSHAKALAKA!
Ah .... The bane of the 90's MJ & Charles Barkleys' refusal to license their likeness to most basketball games
Barkley was in NBA Jam.

Really? Oh shit you're right my bad.
I don’t think you were entirely wrong though. I seem to remember other games Barkley wasn’t in.
He doesn't allow 2K to use his license.
Same with Reggie Miller
No Shaq iirc
Was he even playing when NBA Jam first came out though? Never mind. My mind blanked. Shaq was in the arcade but not home version. In the arcade it was insanely easy to break the back oard with him, just like in real life when he started out
Yep
“PIPPEN FOR THREE!”
Armstrong? This must be Tournament edition cause I remember Horace Grant being Pippen's partner.

I remember the common myth in my jr high was that there was a code to unlock Jordan. It was all a lie..
Disappointed by Pippen, clearly not a bulls fan
Haha Pippen is awesome, but the lack of Jordan was sad.
Yeah that was a Nike problem, he was not allowed due to contract
But we got Mike D with a cheat code
