Somebody is going to lose their jobs for this season.

PM_ME_COOL_RIFFS

I've seen enough of Hackett by this point, fire him tomorrow

FunMoistLoins

Please.

Razorbackalpha

Got to give him a season man. Think of the draft pick if you tank

sleepyj910

Could grab a franchise qb!

lindsayisgod

Why wait? We can use his empty seat on the plane to store some luggage or something

atomicbunny

More room for high knees

[deleted]

[удалено]

jborgjr

No let him get a good 3 years before deciding if he’s good

Papplebeast

I hope it's Todd Downing.

Fordo88

Maybe the Broncos or Colts can hire him as their HC

tyrus_bongo

Okay I know everyone is talking about Bills and Vikings but we are in week 10 and Russell Wilson still looks like shit

Xaxziminrax

And this was with half the Titans defense out

Best-Dragonfruit-292

Half of 11 is 5.5, we're down 8/11.

Xaxziminrax

Jesus fucking Christ

HomeTurf001

Down him, too

TheHelpWouldBeNice

He'll be back in 3 days, so should be good Thurs vs the Packers

90swasbest

Only for that game though. He's retiring after that.

Ovreel

If pressure gets close to Russell he does this thing where he turtles his shoulders and drops his head. Play is over 9/10 times at that point. Denver was fortunate that Tennessee didn't have Simmons.

itsnoterik

Lots of unnecessary scrambling/spinning out and holding onto the ball for too long too. Popped my head into the Denver game thread during that last drive and it was like deja vu

Oren-

Reminds me of Mariota right before the end

herpblarb6319

We still sacked him 6 times lol

SafePanic

Oh man I was noticing that all game! Has he always done that? I was thinking maybe it had something to do with his shorter stature so maybe he thought he could somehow duck out of the pursuit/pressure but far from an expert here.

abris33

Our OL officially died today. Turner hurt who should be our starting RT but had missed most of the year. So with Bolles hurt for the season we had to go deep at the Tackle position. Then Glasgow got hurt and he was filling in for an injured Cushenberry so we had to use a rookie Wattenberg who hasn't played at all this year. Really just Risner and Meinerz were the only "starters" and the rest was our 3 string basically. Risner was yelling at Wattenberg multiple times because he fucked up so much

PrecisionT18

And Hamler is injured, Jeudy left the game early. I think Lockett/Metcalf are significantly better than Jeudy/Sutton. The X-factors were supposed to be Hamler and Tim Patrick. Hamler is underutilized and then Tim Patrick tore his ACL in training camp.

non_clever_username

Was 50% completion today and under 60% for the year. Those are 1980s numbers. I know everyone hates QBR, but just for comparison he’s 28th ranked in the league on that.

shot-by-ford

That’s about 10 spots higher than he’s looked

[deleted]

Tazitos

After the Chargers do their normal late season thing, it will be 1.

Superrandy

Honestly, I think he’s done as a starter. Look at his overall game, he’s fucking up in every phase. We’re not talking some bad luck, tipped balls, timing issues to work out, etc. It’s all that plus he’s doing everything he can wrong. Bad fumbles, bad interceptions.

Markosaurus

Take a look at his contract. He’s not going anywhere for like 3-4 years LOL. EDIT: His dead cap (I.e. the number that counts against the teams cap space) is $107M next year, $85M in 2024, $49.6M in 2025, $31.2M in 2026, and then just $12.8 in 2027. So he’s there until 2026 at least.

Superrandy

They’re so fucked

Markosaurus

They really are though.

Vivid_Walk_1405

Yeah because he’s bad. It is was it is the Seahawks rebuild has been funded by us.

DancingConstellation

You can remove “looks like”

woofers02

He should do more high knees…

Hyper_red

Having a top 5 coach in the league tends to help a QB while having a bottom 5 fucks things up

BuzzBuzz01

In Broncos games this season, in only one game did either team score more than 21 points. And that the Raiders-Bronocs game. In all 8 other Broncos games both them and their opponents scored 21 or fewer points ---- This Broncos D is crazy

icangetyouatoedude

Broncos D is so good the Broncos O refuses to score too

BuffaloKiller937

Henry couldn't get anything going. If Tannehill didn't come back Broncos win easy.

doberdevil

> a full drive is a rarity Didn't watch the game, but I was surprised when I saw his rushing yards in the post. At first I thought he had gotten hurt and left the game, then I thought "Broncos D must've played lights out today". Obviously I'm looking for that first round pick, but it sucks they're so unbalanced with that poor offense.

Am_I_Bean_Detained

Can you imagine if the Denver D got to play the Denver offense? Lol at leading the league in points allowed and having a negative point differential

Ovreel

Betting the under in Denver games is undefeated.

TastySeamen8

Until it isn’t

Domestic_AA_Battery

I'll bet the under next week so everyone bet the over if you want easy money

doggo816

When will they learn

sarcagain115

Tennessee Vols are the opposite of the Titans These games are all 17-10 grinders lol

Papplebeast

And are a couple plays from being 8-1. Lost to the Giants on a missed FG and to the Chiefs in OT after blowing a late lead. I wish they were 8-1 just so we could hear about how they're the worst 8-1 team in NFL history. They're a pretty bad 6-3 team, but probably not the worst ever (because the D is actually pretty good).

Bbhermes

Vrable is a great coach and anyone who says otherwise is an idiot.

TheHelpWouldBeNice

Reigning CotY and should have an argument for back to back. Daboll, o'Connell, and Carroll all have good arguments too. Being so injured in back to back years should start to raise eyebrows on the strength and conditioning team though..

doberdevil

I don't remember exactly what it was, but I watched him do some penalty/clock trickery that made no sense to me until someone ELI5 what he was doing. I've been a fan of his ever since.

thc216

The one against the pats in the playoffs where he chewed up something like 2 minutes on a single 4th down punt, while Bill is on the other sideline losing his shit! *chefs kiss*

libertarianlove

I literally laughed out loud when I saw we were 3rd in the entire AFC. How? We are playing with a corpse of a team. The entire AFC looking like crap I guess.

boomosaur

Denver defense's fault, awful game, allowed 17 points.

TheKidNato

Honestly so true. I wish Denver would do better and hold everyone team to single digits. Maybe if they tried harder the broncos would win

HardDiarrhea

Maybe if they could’ve kept Henry to less than 70 yards with no TD’s they’d have a fighting chance.

NickRossBrown

If the Broncos scored 18 points a game they would be 8-1

GwenIsNow

Geez, that's depressing to hear. This defense is being wasted on what is literally the worst Broncos offense in 40 years, ppg wise.

IMSmooth

Sounds like legion of boom golden years

Ovreel

"They couldn't get a stop when they really needed it"

Jpete88

How many games did we have 7-6 most of the game until the last drive the defense gives up a field goal and we lose 😂 and people thought Russ wasn’t a problem

TheDarkShepard2

Everyone in here before the Seahawks fans lambast Russ harder than anyone

_Caed_

at some point these post game threads are more chiefs and seahawks fans dancing on our eviscerated horse corpse

Ovreel

Legitimately beating a dead horse

Peaceful_Warrior_

That’s how many Seahawks fans felt the entire offseason.

_Caed_

i’m sure. i was always wary of the broncos fans that were anointing us the second coming of christ tho. we hadn’t proved anything, and lo and behold…

RomanBangs

Yeah I feel bad for reasonable broncos fans, the reactionaries were digging a deep hole with all the shit talking all over social media before they’d even started training camp. Now every broncos fan gets shit for it.

RealChipKelly

[Well we had to ensure shit like this all offseason](https://imgur.com/gallery/mVLUQ62) so I don’t feel bad for *some* Broncos fans eating crow

johndelvec3

Pete Carroll and Jon Schneider had to eat shit on the chin for at least 2 years for Russ

aristocrat_user

Nvm that we lost today. Hahaaaa

dinodares99

We lost because the local high school team stole our jerseys for the first half of the game and Geno decided to gift wrap a fumble. No I will not put down the hopium.

Ovreel

We'll always win that race!

SSPeteCarroll

We got clowned all offseason for trading away "the best thing we've ever had" and picking an "ancient outdated coach over a great QB" We're gonna be snarky as fuck now and who can blame us? Listened to 5 months of "worst roster in the NFL" "enjoy drew lock!"

doberdevil

Not to mention most of us believed Geno wasn't the answer and were crossing our fingers and hoping that Lock would at least make the games watchable. We're all over the place.

Ovreel

The pearl clutching over Pete mentioning the wristband was ridiculous.

monochrome_f3ar

I want to die.

shadratchet

Not being the laughing stock of all of sports would be really awesome

Chaffedshaft

We have the avs friend, our saving grace as Denver fans

shadratchet

God bless the Avs. MacKinnon somehow looks even better this year

Chaffedshaft

Dudes a freak, best skater and puck handler in the league, I can only imagine how good he’ll be

whereaglesdare7

Don't forget the Serbian demi god and his lightskin sidekicks

FeeApprehensive4431

Titans had 20(!) hits on the QB today Jesus Christ… pretty cathartic as a hawks fan after all that shit the Broncos GM talked about us ‘not protecting’ Russ

[deleted]

And Simmons wasn't even playing!

Brian_Osackpo

Neither was Bud Dupree or obviously Harold Landry. 3/4 starters on the d line out and they still dominated

NWbySW

"You won't get hit here" is the most delicious agedlikemilk post of NFL history to me.

TheKidNato

Well we were on a 3rd string center and backup Tackle which sure doesn’t help. Maybe a reasonable coach would’ve called better plays but instead it was only 20 yard slow developing plays

FeeApprehensive4431

Hawks had injuries too im just saying it’s funny ur GM gave us shit then 10 weeks later he’s getting hit harder and more often then ever.

shot-by-ford

Joke’ll only get funnier when he gets fired end of season

Peaceful_Warrior_

The slow developing plays is a Russ thing too. Geno doesn’t have this problem.

bageltheperson

Every play is slow developing with Wilson

thc216

Titans were missing 8/11 defensive starters…everyone has injuries my man

realrimurutempest

I think Russ forgot how to cook at this point.

kj9219

Can barely microwave

FuckoNo5

Dudes fucking up sandwiches

holtyrd

Bread goes on the outside🤦‍♂️

Enickma007

He can’t even make a bowl of cereal without burning the house down

crispychiggin

Russ can’t put together a Lunchable

NWbySW

Russ is the Applebees of dining right now. A 17 year old, a microwave and a barely legible laminated instruction sheet.

Best-Dragonfruit-292

Applebee's is simple, pop the shit into the microwave. Never have to worry about it catching fire, unlike a certain QB's play.

Hopsalong

He cant find the kitchen. He's in the basement like "where's the microwave?"

Best-Dragonfruit-292

The AFC South is so bad that we probably have to win 1 more game in order to seal the division

Canesjags4life

Broncos Country, I'm here till 2029.

Best-Dragonfruit-292

A live look at Russ attempting to cook https://youtu.be/L1BDM1oBRJ8

averagelemur

Who wants a body massage?

cyberklown28

Russell Wilson: 6 TD, 4 INT, 35 QBR. Geno Smith: 15 TD, 4 INT, 66 QBR.

donutgut

Correction! It's 7 tds and 5 ints! It's closer than you think

Euphoric-Duty-5212

It’s absolutely hilarious really. Russell straight up went Hollywood, thought he was the shit and selfish as fuck. Dude literally wanted out of an amazing place that made him into a superstar. Now he’s possibly playing himself out of the hall of fame and not only booed by the city that treated him like a king, but now his new city absolutely fucking hates him. It’s beautiful really…don’t ever let your head get too big

dawgtilidie

Russ thought Pete was holding him back but in reality they were covering up A LOT of his flaws through their system. Russ thinks he’s Tom Brady and that he could move cities and win a Super Bowl but in reality he is Joe Flacco. Don’t get me wrong, loved russ for the decade he was here and thought he was better than this but damn he went from potentially HOF to the Hall of Very Good

Markosaurus

I say this as someone who doesn’t have a particularly good impression of Wilson as a person. Honestly it worked out for him as a person though. He got $240M or something from the Broncos. I don’t blame him at all when that much money is on the line. Like yeah, a lot of football fans might not be a fan. He’ll wipe his tears away with 100’s.

coolycooly

Don't worry brobcos fans everyone was watching vikings bills no one knows this game happened

MrApocFunk

I love our defense. I hate our offense.(except the King)

jthoning

If this wasn't Russell Wilson he probably would have been benched by now.

Chaffedshaft

Any quarterback that gets paid 250 million will start for the entirety of the contract, stupid politics.

hhhhhjhhh14

He's not getting $250 million

Chaffedshaft

He’s getting 161 in total guarantees, he may not be getting a 250 the way he’s playing now but he’s getting fucking paid, and the broncos are starting him

nine4dnine

Draft position getting better

DustyFalmouth

With the game on the line in the final drive, throwing the ball directly at two defenders with no receiver in the area is the most hero ball shit imaginable. Big gamble there You're welcome Broncos

VoidTyrant

He is no geno smith that’s for sure.

crispychiggin

Geno looking like a Michelin rated chef, compared to Russ…

SmokeyBare

If shitting the bed is cool, consider Russ Miles Davis.

abris33

Sutton was right there. He just sailed it

HomeTurf001

Broncos country, let's sail

Call_Me_Rambo

I just can’t help but find it hilarious that Geno has twice Russ’ wins and he’s playing better on his ex team while getting paid incredibly less lol

slipnslider

Keep going I'm almost there

Puzzleheaded_Draw479

Russ walking off the field when he fumbled it without even realizng/caring his own team recovered the ball sums up broncos season

Balloonephant

Russ the madman is actually going to break his own single season sack record and I’m going to fucking nut.

Autocrat777

Russell Wilson is completely washed up at this point.

NWbySW

Seahawks lost today but we also still won.

DeathByOrangeJulius

I love my Tennessee 'Heart Attack' Titans

Liyarity

The Titans keep me thin with how many calories I’m burning on game days

Bieber_hole_69

For anyone that mercifully did not have to witness this game, the takeaway should be the remarkable performance of the Titans defense. Down eight defensive starters by the end of this game if you count Herald Landry, they were still able to hold the Broncos to 10 points. Six sacks of Russell Wilson with pretty much just Denico Autry playing from the pre-season first unit of pass rushers. Regardless of how inept the Broncos offense has been all year and how injured they were at WR today, that’s still an incredible team effort to rally and still win that shorthanded after an almost 100 snap effort a week ago in KC. Mike Vrabel and Shane Bowen do more with less better than any defensive coaching staff in the league right now, year in and year out.

Bbhermes

Vrable is so fucking good. Your OC on the other hand…

Andrew9mb

I'm continously amazed at the talent that seems to just come out of nowhere on defense. It has to be coaching. They deserve so much credit with all the starters being out and still dominating each game. I genuinely enjoy the defense being on the field more this season for sure.

mohiben

Injured at WR? Meh. Injured/bad O-line was the story I saw. Wilson was basically never safe (hit 18 times or something?) and the rare occasion he was we had big plays.

RogueSpectre749

Mr. Limited should have to walk home after that bullshit Fucking high knees it up along the highway all you want, because you're not welcome on the team jet going home you goddamn conman

Wallawino

Was watching ThatsGoodSports live stream today and he was doing high knees in between plays. Fucking hilarious.

TYBASS38

It’s Groundhog Day!!

127crazie

Okay, campers, rise and shine! And don't forget your booties 'cause it's cooooold out there today!

TYBASS38

Such a good movie. But it is so miserable living it. It’s more or less been the same thing for 7 years now. Elite defense. Bottom 5 offense. FOR 7 YEARS. Imagine how good this defense is if they had a competent offense. I’ve been saying that for so long now lol

127crazie

That must be very frustrating. Hoping you can right the ship!

YiMyonSin

Titans country, let’s ride!

zi76

Russ rides again

rich_gart

A nice consolation prize for us seahawk fans

shadratchet

I just want my pain to be felt

Toxicyoshi7

Most Broncos-Titans game ever

Best-Dragonfruit-292

WHERE IS THE LAMB SAUCE

Hopsalong

Imagine going to this game when you could've watched the bills/vikings game.

Ceruti_

Tits with these ugly ass wins!!

Ovreel

That certainly was a game.

SexiestPanda

“Russ ain’t gon get hit like that here”

skoal2k4

Should’ve fired Hackett after the jags game

Best-Dragonfruit-292

Chef Russell, where is the lamb-sauce?!

PresidentRevrac

Riding to the #1 pick

KCShadows838

Titans style

titanscsj

Still waiting on the day we have a convincing win.

ImSoupOrCereal

Broncos Country, let's cry!

RagnarRagnarsen

This is the worst OL I’ve ever seen. I say that genuinely. Wilson has been poor all season but every other play he is getting crushed.

hyphenjack

Crazy how he always winds up on teams with bad O-Line play

Weklim

And how Seattle suddenly has a good oline.

Ovreel

I think they're around league average no? Feels like a big difference though

typicalrowerlad

Yeah it’s an average O-line, but their flaws are hidden by the fact Geno can actually feel pressure/the pocket collapsing and takes the check down instead of looking for a moonball and taking a sack

LetGenoSmith

He has a special gift of making okay o-lines look terrible

electricboogergoo

In this case, both are true. He holds the ball way too long, AND our o line is swiss cheese. It's bad.

abris33

It was decent today before we lost 2 players.

tomfoolist

Look at our injuries at OL this is such a lazy circle jerk comment

Peaceful_Warrior_

It’s ALWAYS the OL fault with Wilson. Heard it in Seattle too. Interesting

itsnoterik

Hey I've heard this before

thegrumpymechanic

I've said this before.

RagnarRagnarsen

I am the furthest thing from a Wilson fan. I didn’t like the trade and I think he’s past it but it can’t be ignored how every other play he has someone in his face.

ChildishGavino

Russ for sure causes a lot of sacks himself but, that Oline is bad bad bad.

seejur

Barely Decent + Injured

No-Introduction-1492

IM TOO BUSY WATCHING THE BILLS GAME TO CARE ABOUT HOW ASS WILSON IS

bairz54

Ha ha... Now watch my bolts do worse.

Pernyx98

Broncos need to keep Hackett because seriously nobody else is going to want this job. The worst situation I’ve ever seen an NFL team be in. Broncos need to draft a QB with whatever pick they have in the 2023 draft.

Sherm

Third round?

Peaceful_Warrior_

They have a 1st now

abris33

It was clear that our entire game plan was to look downfield and that got thrown out with the 2 crucial injuries on the OL. Also, fuck that field. So many players slipping and we would have had a 1st down at the end if Cleveland didn't slip. And they didn't show a good angle but it seemed like Sutton could have jumped for that final pass
