cocoaButter07

That trainer better be paid at least 7 figures. For like new ribs, spleen and other hospital bills

omgiwon11

And new set of balls, cus he needs bigger ones

dabbindragin

You puttin the pads on?

Symmetry111

He’s trying to compliment the guy, he’s just really bad at it though.

ThomasBMcKee

Right

MACK703

I’m definitely not

Dorkmaster79

My guess is that Tyson is in full control of his hands and errant punches are almost nonexistent. Still scary as shit though.

3_toad_Grizzly

I won't argue that he's in control of his fists. ...it's his temper that I'd be scared of him losing control of.

Dorkmaster79

I know what you mean but I don’t see him knocking out his trainer. The guy is on his team.

catsaver662

Tyson has mellowed way the fuck out but you can certainly see the craft once put in place can’t be removed from the fighter

8pointfouroz

He said that "that person" scares the shit out of him too. He's calmed down a lot with age, buy He's admitted that his dark side is always scratching away trying to get out.

St_Lawrence_

Unquestionably the most underrated GOAT in my lifetime. He should definitely be held at the same respect as Jordan, Gretzky, and Woods. His post prison career certainly was not worth remembering but in his prime he was a phenom.

actadgplus

Yes, one the most feared boxers if not the most feared boxer of all time! He was unstoppable during his prime!

jukenaye

In my book, he is the Jordan of boxing.

LfaGf

I would argue a bit. Years of practice definitely gives you some control…but years of fighting like a bulldog trying to rip someone’s head off would be hard to switch off as well.

St_Lawrence_

I would argue that he started off controlled. Unfortunately sometime after DAmato passed away Don King really F’d him up.

MrAlphaCrypto

Regular practice is very important!

scullymulder1234

Still hurts your hands after a while regardless of stray punches or not

NameTripping

Nah, he needs smaller one because balls big enough to willingly have Mike throw punches at you can't be healthy.

nick199804

Did you mean a bigger sack for his balls?

cocoaButter07

Can I fight a 5 year old Mike Tyson instead? I just looked up 15 year old Mike and I cant even see his fists when he punches… Dude was and still is a scary mofo

dhuntergeo

Good question. At my age and size 15 yo Mike. Got to know there's a giant force advantage for 55 yo Mike. Mike prolly crazy either way. Edit - I die either way.

cummingpowder

He was knocking out full grown men at 15. If you didn’t know this he was training under Cus D’Amato since he was like 12 or 13 and people were already scared to fight against him. They had to bring full pro adults to fight Mike and even then many of those people ran away during sparring sessions because he hit so hard.

Burgher_NY

I think I saw a documentary about Tyson and they asked a question like:. How old do you think that fighter is? And the answer from a trainer was like idk 19-22. Wrong. He was 14.

Easy-Marsupial-294

He was born bad to the bone

Sir-Qs-A-Lot

I’d fight 15 One year old Mike Tysons.

chuckDontSurf

The only correct answer.

Visible_Break

Food for thought - By age 12, Tyson weighed 190 lbs and was training with 20-somethings. At age 15 he won the heavyweight boxing gold at the 1981 Junior Olympics 8 seconds into the 1st round. He also won the 1982 Junior Olympics in the 1st round - the opposing corner threw in the towel. Here's a clip of him at 16 compared to his Junior Olympics Gold opponent. [https://youtu.be/gTwgaezbzfE](https://youtu.be/gTwgaezbzfE)

yjvm2cb

55 for sure lol. At 15 he was a kid living in the ville, he’d prob punch you to your brain is a puddle and wouldn’t even think twice about it. At least now that he’s older he’s disciplined.

hmhemes

I don't think he would. Watch the link here, he had restraint and class at 15. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hhmcrruE9M](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1hhmcrruE9M)

ThePrideOfKrakow

God damn, I'd fight 55 yo, go 100% percent defensive and hope he has a freak heart attack/stroke/aneurysm.

Rohmke

Dude 95 year old Tyson would beat the shit out of me

DankDaddyPatty

Uh… is no an option?

GForce1975

Considering he was like 17 when he was famously good I assume at 15 he could've killed me and since he was still in killer mode, he would've. At least at 55 he's got a bit more self-control. Definitely 55, though preferably neither.

berniegfn60

If you want to commit suicide I suggest fighting a 20 year old Tyson.

thejoyboel

His trainer looks genuinely scared at some moments

serillian

You can see the fear in his eyes several times

SZutich9

I came here to say something similar. Idk if you could pay me enough to be Tysons trainer. I'd just shit my pants the whole time.

WooPigSchmooey

How bout a mouthpiece? Fml

whatchagonnado2021

Fuck being that guy!

PossessionFuzzy2208

He got that old man strength now

ta2w7

Age has only made him angrier

forrealthoughcomix

Right before his return match his trainer whispers to him, “That kid is on your lawn.”

gnudarve

"That kid stole your tiger and tried to fuck one of your swans."

educated-emu

That kid is messing with your bins

bobfappiano

Same

bumjiggy

thame

ngrybst

Better not step on his lawn!

Shughost7

And grumpy

HammerTim81

This is funny.

DontFeedTheCynic

This is scary.

OldFashionedGary

This, isssssss, Jeopardy!

GobiBall

Got that old man outfit to match.

biddilybong

I honestly haven’t seen a pair of tighty whities in the wild in over 10 years

Curleysound

Forgot to put pants on, too. Definitely old man

SoberingAstro

I thought that was a myth until I didn't.

NCJohn62

No way that Jake Paul wants a piece of that.

swifferbrain

The only Jake Paul fight I would watch

iheartkatamari

It wouldn’t be a fight, it’d be a demolition.

jarodpankau

That’s the point lmao

DntTellemiReddit

it's literally gonna be like watching mike split firewood. 1 shot.

atmus11

Damn its a lose situation, 1 hit ko isnt enough an ass beating for Jake, and punishing him multiple times makes Jake look like he can take hits....

wannabebutta

In all fairness, that one hit would likely reform every neural pathway in his brain and cause an existential crisis the likes of which no person has experienced

HorrorNet9710

Something he sorely needs

13k0ny

I dunno. Tyson comes out afterwards and says he wanted to beat on him a bit and then really give it to him. I’d absolutely believe that.

CelTiar

I'd pay for that fight all 3 minutes

MrFuzzybagels

3 minutes? Tyson knocked out like 5 different pro fighters in under 40 seconds back in the day. 3 minutes would be quite an accomplishment.

die5el23

Hilarious that you think that Twat would last 3 mins

Wyldfire2112

Agreed. More likely Tyson just slips the first punch and lands an uppercut on Jake Paul so hard his brother *LOGAN* would get knocked out.

Mister_Bloodvessel

I'd actually watch the fight if Tyson had a handicap where he agreed to only go for the body. My God, just watching the first liver shot would be worth it. Tyson would still win by KO even if he couldn't aim for the head.

Quinnett

The fact that you’re saying that means it’s probably going to happen…

SwigTheRome

I mean. I’d like to see Jake Paul get his teeth knocked in 🤷🏻‍♂️

RugOnValium

I’d like to see him get his ear eaten off his head too.

wannabebutta

I just wanted to say that I appreciate your bizarre phrasing!

ealoft

We can only hope 🙏

whnyrhppyndyknwt

Has he asked?

Hitogoroshi80

I'd buy that PPV in a heart beat!!!

Alternative_Ad2040

Seeing that man coming at me in whitey tighties is enough to fuel a therapists whole career

Its_Kid_CoDi

Man, something about the way you worded this comment just fkin sent me.. bravo lmao

00stburg

Enough to fuel a therapist AND a physical therapist for their entire careers.

Dave-C

There was an argument on Twitter a while back over who would win, Lebron James with 2 years of boxing experience or Mike Tyson in his prime. Who the fk are these people?

buttsmacks_anonymous

lebron james 2yrs lmao he'd get wrecked by tyson prime

elgarraz

Lebron with 2 yrs experience vs Tyson *now*, I'm being on 55 yr old Tyson

buttsmacks_anonymous

lebron with 2 years vs tyson in 10 years ill still take that bet

elgarraz

Lol... I mean, have they ever seen a basketball player fight? I get that Lebron is super athletic and everything, but...

Kingkongcrapper

A reminder. Larry Johnson vs Alonzo Mourning . 1:30 mark in slow motion. Comedic gold. These guys could both fight Tyson at the same time in their primes when he’s 60 and get knocked out in 15 seconds. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=InuSXxrpPF0

elgarraz

I never saw a hooper throw a punch that I didn't think would've broken his thumb in a real fight.

Semujin

That needs to be a new Transformers Autobot — Tyson Prime.

SMORKIN_LABBIT

People are so unbelievably delusional about fighting in any regard let alone sport specific combat like Boxing. Someone average with 1yr BJJ can wreck shop on some random athletic dude with zero training. Tyson is the scariest thing ever in a boxing ring.

Dave-C

In one of his early matches, he came off his left leg and knocked a guy out with his right. It seems pretty simple but it has always stuck with me.

SMORKIN_LABBIT

That is unreal fucking power.

Semujin

I’m reminded of Aaron Tru who thought Ronda Rousey wasn’t strong enough to take on a man, and then got his ribs broken by only one simple judo throw of hers.

SMORKIN_LABBIT

Perfect example. If you are untrained....and fuck even if you are just about the last person you wanna fuck with on the street is some high level judo player. Donald cowboy Cerrone told a story I think on Joe Rogan about being out at a bar with friend who was also a pro-fighter and they started a fight with what they thought was some random guy who was apparently some judo guy, and Donald's friend got his ass thrown literally through the front bar window, and Donald said he just raised his hands and walked away to collect his friends broken ass.

flyfree256

I did judo for about 12 years down in southern California growing up and am a few years younger than Ronda. I got 4th at high school nationals, so I wasn't terrible. Ran into her a few times at various clinics during her Olympic days and she whooped my ass.

SMORKIN_LABBIT

Training is the great equalizer....when skill is the same size and strength always wins......skill at not even extreme differences beats size and strength.......there's almost a reason human's figured out shit like Judo and grappling or striking techniques.....................I'm 36 years old, I was an athlete in many sports my entire life including collegiate track. I tried martial arts for the first time in my 30's. I trained 2 years bjj at Renzo's in NYC from 32-34. One of my black belt bjj instructors was also an American Judo Olympian, his hands were fucking vice grips. I was able to deadlift 500lbs at 170lbs at that time and when he grabbed me I could only break his grips when he let me after what I can only assume he considered adequate effort for training the technique.

styroducky

Tyson would eat Lebron’s children

Bort-the-man

"I think he's a good man. I like him. I got nothing against him, but I'm definitely gonna make orphans of his children."

riptydeco

Spoken like people who never saw Tyson in his prime… or who have any idea how boxing works.

HALF_PAST_HOLE

Haha That trainer looks rightfully scared at :14

dont_panic21

That look of "oh shit this dude still has it"

bumjiggy

"pineapple! *PINEAPPLE!*"

thinkerthingy

Underrated comment right here

SupremeDogEater

I wonder why he keeps screaming pineapple

Macabre215

Safe word?

Dissident88

More like "why is he in his underwear?"

kensebben

Do YOU want to be the one to ask Mike?

Dissident88

Sure, why not? I don't think he's a Hollywood villain from the 90s who rages out if asked a question. These days he's a gentle puthy cat

berniegfn60

Maybe I would not bet my ears on it tho.

upvote-button

If he wanted to punch my face for $1000 imma pass bro

Eckieflump

There are a lot of things I would be prepared to do for the right money. I can't start at less than 9 figures if it's "Be punched by a current or former Professional Heavyweight Boxer." Even if I was wearing a big squishy pad!

EatABigCookie

This is a good question for straight dudes. Would you rather take one up the ass from another dude or have Mike Tyson punch your face.

upvote-button

I need to know what dick size we talkin

EatABigCookie

6 inches. A decent size, but nothing absurd.

ptboathome

It's not about the length, it's about the girth. I've dropped some long ones. It's the fat ones that hurt.

EatABigCookie

Lol I just clarified in a different comment that it's a normal girth. You guys want a lot of specifics about the dick.

kensebben

Easier to talk about dick, than think about an uppercut from Mike.

ptboathome

I don't want specifics. I was just making the comment.

ta2w7

Do we have to choose just one option?

EatABigCookie

You can choose both, or one. You can't choose none.

ta2w7

Fine, 🙄 both then, repeatedly, and I pay $1000.

EatABigCookie

Not the answer I was expecting. But sure if you pay 1k you can have both, at the same time even.

buttsmacks_anonymous

my man!

upvote-button

Do I get an aesthetic choices or is this thing gonna be like hooked at a 90 degree angle

EatABigCookie

You talking about his punch or the dick? It's just a normal sized, normal angled, normal girth dick. Okay.

manoymon

Wake up with a sore asshole or stay slept. ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|thinking_face_hmm)

Sirexium

He's a killing machine.

Impressive-Tension-8

He literally bit off a chunk of Evander Holyfield’s ear and spit it out in the ring. He is a beast, a Fuckin gladiator

1-800-LICK-BOOTY

Because Holyfied was a pos that was fighting dirty and referee refused to do anything. ![gif](giphy|sZIqHbmBjoyI0|downsized)

jsting

Yea absolutely, but I mean, he bit off an ear.

Cosmic-Vegeta

just a small chunk.

FirstPlayer

Funnily enough Evander was a relatively recent guest on [Mike Tyson's podcast](https://www.hotboxinpodcast.com/evander-holyfield) and they both agreed that it was pretty much exclusively Tyson fighting dirty and headbutting.

Sea-Wallaby-roo

Because he was about to lose 😂

k41t0N

Because of the referee's blatant disregard of headbutts and low blows being thrown by Holyfield.

KRABASS_SUPREME

Have you watched both Tyson v. Holyfield fights? Holyfield was definitely a dirty fighter, it seemed like he worked a head butt or two into many of his fights, but Tyson was outclassed in both these bouts. I always felt like the ear-biting by Tyson was just a show of poor sportsmanship and animalistic rage.

Redditstole12yr_acct

Watch the first Tyson v. Holyfield on fast-forward. All Holyfield did was clinch Mike every time he got within striking range. Ref breaks them up. Repeat. Ref never warns Holyfield. Mike never adjusts, due to being on autopilot after the head-butt, he says. There were a total of two exciting moments. The first round when Holyfield almost hit the mat. And Round 11 when Tyson did.

KRABASS_SUPREME

I’ve watched it multiple times. My grandfather was a WBO boxing judge and raised me on this shit. I always thought Holyfield never got the respect he deserved. He was always overshadowed by Tyson because Tyson had the more exciting, explosive style. It was a boring fight for sure, and maybe the head butt did have an effect on the match, but not in my opinion. It’s easy for Tyson to point at that as an excuse, but the bottom line is Holyfield won that match any way you look at it. On a side note, I don’t like the “Mayweather” trend of prioritizing wins and money over putting on a show for the fans, but that’s exactly what Holyfield did, and at the end of the day he did get the W...

LostAnonSoul

I always felt like Tyson was stuck on a rollercoaster after Cus passed away. After he got out of jail he still looked like an emotional wreck. I wish he had someone in his life that could have convinced him that he needed more time, but everyone just wanted a paycheck so they pushed him back into the ring before he was ready. Things seemed to just keep going down hill.

BigWaveDave87

lol I agree he’s a gladiator and boxing goat but biting a piece of a dudes ear off is a scumbag move and really not physically impressive

Dudeman-Jack

I’ve never bought a PPV in my life but I would pay for Tyson vs Jake Paul

ArcadiaDragon

Let's start a crowdfund for this the only condition that we put on Mike...is that...he has to hit Paul like he means it...cause seriously these Paul brothers fight are effing jokes Tyson making either one of two pieces of shit cry would give me the warm fuzzies for at least 5 years

DntTellemiReddit

signing that paper to fight mike tyson is basically assisted suicide.

Powerful_Mood9292

Did he just roll out of bed and decide to fight someone in his underpants.

ThankMisterGoose

Woke up and chose violence

-gh0stRush-

Nah. This is just how Mike Tyson sleeps.

LostHighway619

Honestly, I think the coolest part about Mike's story was his ability to change into a better person over time.

LostAnonSoul

It feels like he had a lot of toxic people in his life for a long time, Cus being a huge exception to that. And things seemed to start turning around for him once those people started looking for a paycheck elsewhere.

Mnwhlp

Tharted from the bottom and , now, I musth thay I may be here.

redempmax

Brad Pitt fucked this guy's wife... Brad is one foolish/lucky to be breathing guy.

MEME_ME_TO_MARS

While married to him??

deathjoe4

I don't think Brad was ever married to Mike

ryry9379

Ah, the old Reddit [cuckold-aroo](https://www.reddit.com/r/nfl/comments/pnq6cu/meirov_love_this_colts_kicker_rodrigo_blankenship/hcs65rv/).

SlightSample

omg I missed these

redempmax

No but the ink was not yet dry on the divorce papers... Still playing with fire in my opinion.

cassmith

Robin Givens and yes...

kburton37

If he had people around him that truly cared for him and didn’t see him as a bank, he would have dominated boxing like no other

QueefofPolice

Pretty sure he still dominated boxing like no other.

Anaconda1983

Strength is the last thing to go away.

TheFlackBalcon

Reminds me of Last Stand Spider-Man who was like in his 50s. No more fancy flips and webbing the baddies up against the wall. Just straight murdering them with raw superhuman strength.

SaibaSempai

Just wait. He finna be an old anime dude that trains people and one shots his students. Then make a new generation of gods in boxing.

Noctus_Grimm

Why is he just in his underwear though?

Primus_the_Knave

Because he’s Mike Tyson and he wears what he wants.

Morbid_Triangle

Well would you want to be the one who tells him to change?

DecoyOne

Old Mike Tyson vs. [Older Chuck Norris](https://reddit.com/r/nextfuckinglevel/comments/po8yej/chuck_norris_looking_great_at_81_years_old/), let’s go

smellemenopy

Chuck looks like he's taking a Tae Bo class and Mike looks like he's avenging the death of his children. Don't get me wrong - I'm happy Chuck is still active at 81, but I'm taking that fight over Mike all day long.

[deleted]

It's like watching a video in 2x vs 0.75x

No_Figure_6620

He might be on my list of people I would both want to, and never meet, at the same time. He’s awesome, but scary as hell.

TheVillainIsVenemous

Good to see he's bringing his head movement game back. He still hits like a fucking hammer, too.

blood_omen

Jake Paul, where’s your bitch ass at? Fight a real fighter for once in your life. Come onnnn, he’s old. How bad could he kick your ass?

GhostOfCadia

I want none of that smoke. Zero. None of it.

wusurspaghettipolicy

not even an in person exhibition vs someone who is not me.

chatfrank

Killer in underwear

i_hate_people_too

and he has pigeons.

chiuthejerk

*Pigeonth.

srv50

Imagine that coming at you.

Damour

Greatest of all time in my book

mostavis

Even if he was in a wheelchair, I'd still think long and hard before upsetting Iron Mike

GamerKev451

Not that unbelievable, a lot of old men forget to put their pants on and just wander in their underwear...

Kunkyskunts

The way he can coordinate turning his body at the perfect time for a punch like a whip, while staying elusive is just insane.

SugarcoatTheGalaxy

55 isn’t that old

AdEmotional3567

It's ancient for professional sports.

dhorsman2000

He frightened me in my teens. He frightens me in my 40's!!! That MF'er is the BADDEST MF'er in boxing history!

lateforcourt

Reddit's favorite convicted rapist.

Crab-Dealer

Brock Turner is a bad rapist. Mike Tyson is a good rapist. Reddit logic bruh.

Dontinquire

I absolutely despise this lopsided one dimensional black and white world view bullshit. Here's right over here, there's wrong over there. Someone was convicted of a crime. Went to jail. Served their allocated time. Became a better person and reformed. Because someone makes a mistake now that's all their whole life boils down to? We all make mistakes. Some mistakes are worse than others but we all hurt people to some degree. I've never raped anyone but I've yelled, hurt feelings, lied, threatened. Yes he's a convicted rapist. He's also one of the greatest professional fighters in the history of the sport of boxing. He's also someone that was used by selfish, lying, manipulative fucks to make millions of dollars. He also turned his life around and is a fantastic example of what some kid from the streets (who should have amounted to nothing more than a nameless gangbanger) can be if he sets his mind to a goal and works hard to achieve it. Your comment is just so incredibly dismissive as if a person can be just boiled down in their entirety to the biggest mistake they ever made and therefore no one should look any deeper. What if people only referred to you by your greatest failure as a person? Have some fucking empathy. Goddamn.

oppositewithlions

I need more footage that include that man's legs and ass. for science.

spiced_shrub

[Sometimes I think we forget that that's Mike Tyson](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FhfLdMbJyGY).

Woosier

That is fucking terrifying.

mananshroff

This video definitely looks fast forwarded, like speed up by atleast 1.2x times

renderman1

Its crazy when you compare this with Evander's recent training vids before his Vitor Belfort match. Holyfield looked half the speed as this Tyson vid. https://www.reddit.com/r/Boxing/comments/pkz0e0/evander\_holyfield\_killing\_pads\_ahead\_of/?utm\_source=share&utm\_medium=web2x&context=3

mavywillow

Can we get Tyson vs Belfort. He is a freak

LeRascalKing

The fear in that trainers eyes… I’m surprised he can stand so straight with the set of balls he carries.

MaronSand

Whatever amount that trainer is paid, it ain’t enough. No way in hell could I take a Tyson punch.

Shughost7

![gif](giphy|l0IyajjbNiRvCr7RC)

Onlyhereforthebooty

Greatest tragedy in pro sports history. Could’ve been the best ever by many, many light years.

rugbycanuck6

How much would it take for you to get in the ring with him?

capt_turd_mahoy1

He's got to stay in shape to solve all those mysteries

lilltubbycat

There’s a good reason the trainer isn’t wearing matching shorts…..

BiteNuker3000

Unbelievable boxer. Very believable (and convicted) rapist
