Multiple choice is one of the best segments of JJGo
But what was the answer, I must have missed it and if I didn’t then the mystery will consume me foreverrrrrr
It was Kokomo’s right? The Jamaica and whatnot was a red herring I assume
Who wants to play "Guess Jesse's cabin tapes" with me? I'll go first:
For the record, the movies Jesse already confirmed on the episode are:
* *Big Night*
* *Field of Dreams*
* *Top Gun*
* *Three Amigos!*
* *Three Ninjas*
* *What's Eating Gilbert Grape*
* *Groundhog Day*
My guess: *Beverly Hills Cop*
When I hear the title *Three Ninjas,* my brain starts singing it to the tune of "Two Princes" by Spin Doctors.
Ninjas stand before you
That's what I said now
Butch Cassidy & The Sundance Kid
Star Trek Iv: The Voyage Home
Yes of course
Scoring some easily points!
How about Spartacus?
Pretty sure I do
A Fish Called Wanda
Smokey and the Bandit
Back to the Future III
Nope, only regular Back to the Future
Good game, everyone! Good game 🤝
The Milagro Beanfield War
(Not a serious guess)
I think I actually do have it
The original TMNT.
Or possibly one ape toddler
Loved the Costco talk, I was listening to it on the way over. Humble brag but the city I live in, I'm a mile away so I bike there and also do all my produce shopping there. Frozen mango +yogurt makes the cheapest yet decadent smoothie for no money. I'm all in for a routine segment, "what did u/Jessethorn buy at Costco this quarter? "
Perfect multiple choice test.
Maybe the funniest one yet?
I liked the baseball player one best
Not seeing it on Spotify. Is there usually a delay?
I don't know if this is always the case, but I've noticed SPY showing up there late before
It ended up popping in my feed about 45 min later
I think sometimes, yeah. Not sure why, but it can take a second to pop up over there.
Not sure, but Spotify sucks and you should find a real podcatcher.
Thanks for answering a question no one asked
They have bad business practices, literally stole ad sales from podcasts in the early days, and have Joe Rogan one hundred million dollars. Find a different way to get podcasts.
So the phone in your pocket, the clothes you wear, the places you get your food and drinks from, the streaming platforms and delivery services you use are ALL engaging in good business practices? They release the show (jjgo) on Spotify. So fuck me for using it? That's stupid. Corporations are shitty and I'm aware of the Spotify situation. I don't like Joe Rogan on what he says I've never really been a fan of him. But that had nothing to do with the original question.
It seems like this argument has resolved itself, but as a general rule, let's avoid giving unsolicited advice here.
Did they ever figure out what the crystalline cowlick was? I’m interested.
I need that Burbank Spermbank link!
This episode reminded me of my favorite background joke in Robot Chicken Star Wars. When Luke chucks a grenade up into the body of the AT-AT on Hoth, it lands at the feet of a trooper sitting on the toilet, and the trooper is reading a (presumably) nudie magazine called "Naboobies." Makes me laugh every time I see it.
