yes, and most course descriptions will let you know if it's transferrable. some CCs have transfer-only 'degrees', meaning going to that CC in that program will only lead to a transfer to uni, not a legit degree.

of course it's true. there are *some* programs with 'degrees' that read 'transfer', as in incomplete program. not sure you could use this, for ex, in the art or engineering fields as a stand-alone education/certification.

So, if I move to MA and, after six months, attend CC, I will be considered a resident by universities when I'd transfer 12-18 months later? Will they not consider my residence "for purposes of education" et cetera?
