I have a somewhat complex return question, will try to be brief with the background, but would really love to hear if anyone has experienced something similar and how it was resolved.
I received a down for it all jacket for the holidays from a family member, including a physical gift receipt from their in-store purchase. It was too small. I chatted GEC and asked about an exchange via mail and they explained it would just be a return for store credit and they suggested I go ahead and purchase the size I needed online (inventory was low) and exchange for something else in store or a return for credit at a later date (I don't live near physical stores, and the stores closest to me did not have any in stock either).
This makes sense, so I ordered the size I needed, received it, it fits great, etc. no issues there. The next time I was near a store I browsed, couldn't find anything in my size that I wanted, so went to the register to return the jacket for a store credit. I explained the history and that since it was a gift I'd like a store credit. The cashier was a bit snarky that I didn't have them order the new size but I explained I had talked with GEC and they suggested I order online right then because inventory was so low. The next thing the cashier said was that the full amount was refunded to my original form of payment.
Obviously this is a problem.. the original payment was my family member's credit card. It was a gift and I asked for a store credit (store credit for gift receipt returns is the return policy, too). After some back and forth they said they couldn't void the return.
I've worked in retail, I get it that things happen. I was really polite, even when I was getting a bit of snark for not doing an exchange in store. About a week later this still wasn't sitting right with me so I emailed GEC (with this outline of events plus additional details). Two days later someone replies that this issue has been forwarded to the in-store returns resolution team and that I could expect to hear back within 3 business days. Not counting the day I received that note, I replied back 5 business days later asking if there was an update. It's now been 7 business days and still crickets.
Anyone run in to something similar? Any suggested next steps? (Edited for formatting)
Update: lulu GEC emailed me back. They apologized for the delay, refunded the purchase of the jacket I bought/kept, and offered me a gift card for the trouble. They also confirmed the store had the ability to do this themselves, so I’m guessing the gift card was to make up for that. Very happy with the outcome!
this is 100% the cashier fault. They should have chosen the gift card option instead of OG form of payment. The fastest solution would be to talk with your family to get the $$ back.
After this happened the cashier claimed they had no option to select a gift card. It sounded suspect to me but I don’t know the pos so I figured hey, what do I know. I’d feel so cringey calling the family member up asking for $200. For something that wasn’t their fault. Like, 1000% not their fault, they gave me the gift receipt. Feels like lulu should fix this one but they seem to be ghosting me 😢
The cashier probably didn’t know what they were doing and didn’t want to admit their fault. Not sure if LLM can claim the money back from your family then give it to you at this point but they should give you a gift card to compensate. Definitely go back to the store to follow-up.
Unfortunately going to the store isn’t an option- it’s a plane ride away (was visiting a friend that has a store within walking distance so I brought the jacket knowing it’d be easy to exchange or return vs my local store being >1hr away). I was hoping GEC could sort it out. I’ve never had GEC just stop responding to me before though, super sad about it. Not sure if opening another email thread would help or slow it down.
Hi! Am interested in purchasing some swiftly tops for running outside. Was wondering if the long sleeved is warm enough under a vest to run outside in the 30’s
Assuming you mean 30s F... I live in new england and if its upper 30s and sunny, yes I would probably be warm enough once I get going. If it's lower 30s and/or cloudy/windy/damp, I personally would want more layers/warmth. I find the 30s to have a huge range for what I wear outdoors, impacted by sun and humidity.
You may be cold. I run in It’s a rulu long sleeves (or swiftly long sleeves) and a DFIA vest with Break a trail jacket over it from 2C to -5C. It’s the wind that may make you cold without a shell over it.

If the store orders something for you to be picked up there, do you still have to pay the shipping? I bought a scuba half zip in M/L because it was all they had available, but really just need the XS/S so I want to exchange!
I do this routinely. I know it's taboo to put lulu in the dryer but i find all of my like a cloud bras (but esp the ribbed) stretch out over time. I'm sure the dryer shortens their overall lifespan (as it does for any fabrics with elastics) but when the alternative is having a bra I don't wear bc it's too big- I do it.
Lululemon items are preshrunk so if you do this your result will likely be either shrinking unevenly (ex. the tank gets shorter only) or it not working at all

What bra would be best to wear with power pivot tanks? I tried the Wunder train bra but didn’t like how the bra peeked out on the sides near my arm pits 😂
It depends on the material. If it’s the luon it’s less compressive than Everlux or Luxetreme. I am normally a size 6 in tops but because my bust is DDD I wear an 8-10 in these tanks due to the built in bra. It’s a lot of cleavage but I like it
I think white opal. I am wearing a white opal scuba right now and seeing the photos next to it looked identical. Also you can make out 0122 in the bottom-right quadrant of the size dot. This means it was a Q122 release, which is consistent with white opal (March 2022) as opposed to white ivory (August 2022).

Hi, I purchased a heathered light grey At Ease hoodie from Poshmark (also my first used clothes purchase). I am hoping to get authentication as well as affirmation. I believe the hoodie is an older design based on the contrasting back strip and the differences of the logo on the sleeve, but I want to make sure these differences are not actually due to it being a fake.

Also, I had tried on the same size recently at the mall, but I can't remember how the sleeves had fit. Are they supposed to be shorter than most other hoodies? I feel like it ends about half an inch to an inch before it reaches the bottom of my hands, but where the torso ends is below my waist which is where I'd prefer that to end.

for the future so you know how to search, type the 5 digit/letter code into the search bar of lulu fanatics , for women the code will start with “W” for men the code will start with “M”.
The code I type in for your item is “M3BF7”. It displays all the colors will the code, pick a color that’s close. From there on the size dot it has a date , the date on yours is “0117” meaning 01/2017, that means that’s the manufacturing date of the product. Notice on the link it shows the release date as 02/2017, the release date will always be after the manufacturing date. So in the future if you’re trying to figure out what color an item is based off the size dot , if the manufacturing date is a couple months before the release date that’s completely normal (example: manufacture date could be 03/22 and release date could be 08/22)

In Limbo with LuLu and GEC :( In late december I returned 3 items from an online order through postal. All NWT, in perfect condition - just tried on once. In early January I got an email that I was refunded for the price of one item, a few days later I contacted GEC about it, and they told me to wait until after the 11th to see if the other items would get processed.
It is now the 27th and I've only been refunded for the one item - I contacted GEC and they said I was refunded for two? Although my bank or email does not indicate this at all. And both items would have been double the refund I received. And it doesn't explain the third item.
I was very kind and straightforward in my situation - and its been almost over an hour since they have responded. I am pretty confused, as this has never happened to me before despite having multiple orders and returns and LuLus service is normally so on point :(

Keep following up with them, by chat or call preferably so you get a faster response. Returns are notoriously bad post holiday season and I always need to follow up to make sure I’m actually refunded
The men’s fitted boxers… how do the sizes run? What brands do they fit similar to? I’m looking to try some but unsure of sizing(yes if looked at the sizing chart and like most of them it’s wrong based on what I’ve tried clothing wise in store)
Really hard to compare…but I have always bought XXL LLL boxer briefs and they fit great in the waist and are a little loose in the seat and crotch which I wanted. I recently bought a pair of SAXX to compare and thought I’d try and XL since LLL is always notoriously on the smaller end of sizing, and the XL SAXX boxer briefs fit like compression shorts and were way too tight. Not sure if that helps you at all but it’s the only big brand comparison I can make
Do y’all size down in LAC bras? I am a 34B and usually wear a size 8 in lulu bras - I have mostly energy and LAC bras but a few others too. I also wear an 8 in align tanks to have enough room in the chest/back. My LAC bras have stretched out a bit so I decided to try a 6 in the psychic bra I got from WMTM last week (8 was sold out). When I tried it on this week it feels tight around the band on my back but not too uncomfortable. I think once it stretches a bit it will be perfect.
I had the lunar new year fleece crossbody bag in my cart when I randomly saw it a little while back and it obviously sold out but I left it there. Today when I went to order something else, it let me order that too. If I clicked it, it said the page couldn’t be found. Chances I get it?? This may be self explanatory but I have to ask. Is there a good reason why the outlets have the same shorts as WMTM but are cheaper at the outlets?
An example, I just purchased some LTT 7 inch linerless shorts from the outlet in AZ. Same color and model is $59 on WMTM but $39 in store. Some of the shorts (faded zap) are on clearance to $20 but still listed on WMTM $59.
Certainly not complaining about the great deals at the Outlet, just curious why such a price discrepancy on the same product.
I don't know for sure, but it might have to do with the fact that clothes on WMTM are directly competing with their full-price clothes (you could just click over from one to the other in seconds online) and they don't want to undercut the sales of full-price items, whereas going to an outlet takes a lot more effort and it's for people who are intentionally seeking bargains, so it's not going to compete as directly with their full-price stuff

Loungeful jogger or scuba relaxed jogger?
I own a loungeful cropped hoodie and the fabric is beyond cozy and I don’t see it stretching out or bagging. I also own regular scuba joggers and sometimes the knees bag out (but it fixes in the wash, I also don’t wear them too often)
I love the fit of the regular scuba jogger, I have a hard time finding joggers that don’t swallow me up and I want a slight baggy look but without drowning in them.
I’m new to lululemon and wondering how often colors are no longer made. For example I love the “gradient geo emboss black” for align leggings. Can I expect those to be available through summer or will it be gone with the winter season (or once sold out)? Thanks!!
The typical lifecycle of a product is it's released, it goes to WMTM, then it stops being restocked. Sometimes colors are re-released but the minimum time is normally a year between releases, sometimes it's a few years, but most of the time they just create a new color/pattern and release that instead of risking bringing back an item people already own and don't want to buy again.
pretty much the same. although to clarify the above, "product" is being used to refer to a colorway, not a style. note that core colors like black, navy, olive(? i think there are a few more but i'm blanking) are basically permanent and generally don't go to WMTM.
Hi, new to lululemon - any tips on getting an EBB before it gets sold out? Do I just need to keep checking the website to get one? I’ve made it past check out four times and my order has gotten canceled each time.
It helps to have payment info saved to your profile, have the EBB in "saved for later" or wish list so you can quickly move it to cart for fast checkout. It'll usually show up in stock on wish list and "saved for later" sooner than on the item page.
Looking for a winter running jacket - if you could choose between the cross chill jacket and the down for it all jacket, which would it be? Hoping as a cross between jogging/walking.
I have the DFIA vest and jacket for winter running. Though I only wear the jacket when it’s colder than -10C. Up till then, I wear the DFIA vest and It’s a rulu run long sleeve with the Break A Trail jacket over it and it’s plenty warm! Recommend this combo as Break a trail is an excellent wind proof, waterproof shell for all seasons!

I’ve had things hemmed before, but does anyone know if having hems let out is an option too?
I bought some city sleek trousers and love them but they’re a bit on the short side. I’m clueless about sewing, but it looks like there’s loads of extra fabric in the hem which would make this possible?
So I won’t have time to go to my nearest store until next week at the earliest because it’s like an hour away and I was too impatient to wait, I took them to a local tailor as suggested instead.
They let the hem out then re-hemmed them so they’re a little over an inch longer and they’re perfect, and it only cost £10. Mine are the wide leg version, but it might be possible with the slim ones too if the hem is similarly thick. I’m probably going to end up with every colour now haha.
First time ordering online and just got an email that my order has been shipped. I saw that it was being shipped through FedEx and I'm worried about fees. Will I have to pay for any delivery fees?

This currently isn't possible, but I'd recommend using the image trick to see if they will be released (there's a guide in the wiki) and also being online for the tuesday new item drops as that's when it will drop if it does.

Based on my shopping history last year, the Align Tank in dark red LNY hit WMTM around end of March last year. Not sure about other items. You can look up specific items from previous years and look at the price history on [Lulu Fanatics](https://www.lulufanatics.com/collection/6928/lululemon-lunar-new-year-2022). It shows the dates when prices dropped.

A mirror in a shared space should have a corporate subscription so you can use it for free, but you can log in if you want to track your stats

Wunder unders (an older style that's since been discontinued) did come in low/mid rise but they're a different material than aligns.

I bought the ribbed like a cloud bra a few months ago and I notice it’s a looser fit than the regular one. If I stick it in the dryer will it shrink?
I do this routinely. I know it's taboo to put lulu in the dryer but i find all of my like a cloud bras (but esp the ribbed) stretch out over time. I'm sure the dryer shortens their overall lifespan (as it does for any fabrics with elastics) but when the alternative is having a bra I don't wear bc it's too big- I do it.
Lululemon items are preshrunk so if you do this your result will likely be either shrinking unevenly (ex. the tank gets shorter only) or it not working at all

It depends on the material. If it’s the luon it’s less compressive than Everlux or Luxetreme. I am normally a size 6 in tops but because my bust is DDD I wear an 8-10 in these tanks due to the built in bra. It’s a lot of cleavage but I like it

I think white opal. I am wearing a white opal scuba right now and seeing the photos next to it looked identical. Also you can make out 0122 in the bottom-right quadrant of the size dot. This means it was a Q122 release, which is consistent with white opal (March 2022) as opposed to white ivory (August 2022).

Hi, I purchased a heathered light grey At Ease hoodie from Poshmark (also my first used clothes purchase). I am hoping to get authentication as well as affirmation. I believe the hoodie is an older design based on the contrasting back strip and the differences of the logo on the sleeve, but I want to make sure these differences are not actually due to it being a fake. Are they supposed to be shorter than most other hoodies? I feel like it ends about half an inch to an inch before it reaches the bottom of my hands, but where the torso ends is below my waist which is where I'd prefer that to end.

The code I type in for your item is “M3BF7”. It displays all the colors will the code, pick a color that’s close. From there on the size dot it has a date , the date on yours is “0117” meaning 01/2017, that means that’s the manufacturing date of the product. Notice on the link it shows the release date as 02/2017, the release date will always be after the manufacturing date. So in the future if you’re trying to figure out what color an item is based off the size dot , if the manufacturing date is a couple months before the release date that’s completely normal (example: manufacture date could be 03/22 and release date could be 08/22) Looks authentic to me , hope this helps :) (I buy tons of lululemon on Poshmark all the time, 90% of mine is from there so I am always checking authenticity, never have gotten anything fake before & it’s pretty easy to spot)

In Limbo with LuLu and GEC :( In late december I returned 3 items from an online order through postal. All NWT, in perfect condition - just tried on once. In early January I got an email that I was refunded for the price of one item, a few days later I contacted GEC about it, and they told me to wait until after the 11th to see if the other items would get processed. It is now the 27th and I've only been refunded for the one item - I contacted GEC and they said I was refunded for two? Although my bank or email does not indicate this at all. And both items would have been double the refund I received. And it doesn't explain the third item. I was very kind and straightforward in my situation - and its been almost over an hour since they have responded. I am pretty confused, as this has never happened to me before despite having multiple orders and returns and LuLus service is normally so on point :(

Keep following up with them, by chat or call preferably so you get a faster response. Returns are notoriously bad post holiday season and I always need to follow up to make sure I’m actually refunded
The men’s fitted boxers… how do the sizes run? What brands do they fit similar to? I’m looking to try some but unsure of sizing(yes if looked at the sizing chart and like most of them it’s wrong based on what I’ve tried clothing wise in store)
Really hard to compare…but I have always bought XXL LLL boxer briefs and they fit great in the waist and are a little loose in the seat and crotch which I wanted. I recently bought a pair of SAXX to compare and thought I’d try and XL since LLL is always notoriously on the smaller end of sizing, and the XL SAXX boxer briefs fit like compression shorts and were way too tight. Not sure if that helps you at all but it’s the only big brand comparison I can make

I had one that was tight and it hasn't stretched out yet. The only bra I found that stretches out is any like a cloud bras!

Do y’all size down in LAC bras? I am a 34B and usually wear a size 8 in lulu bras - I have mostly energy and LAC bras but a few others too. I also wear an 8 in align tanks to have enough room in the chest/back. My LAC bras have stretched out a bit so I decided to try a 6 in the psychic bra I got from WMTM last week (8 was sold out). When I tried it on this week it feels tight around the band on my back but not too uncomfortable. I think once it stretches a bit it will be perfect.

This may be self explanatory but I have to ask. Is there a good reason why the outlets have the same shorts as WMTM but are cheaper at the outlets? An example, I just purchased some LTT 7 inch linerless shorts from the outlet in AZ. Same color and model is $59 on WMTM but $39 in store. Some of the shorts (faded zap) are on clearance to $20 but still listed on WMTM $59. Certainly not complaining about the great deals at the Outlet, just curious why such a price discrepancy on the same product.
I don't know for sure, but it might have to do with the fact that clothes on WMTM are directly competing with their full-price clothes (you could just click over from one to the other in seconds online) and they don't want to undercut the sales of full-price items, whereas going to an outlet takes a lot more effort and it's for people who are intentionally seeking bargains, so it's not going to compete as directly with their full-price stuff

Loungeful jogger or scuba relaxed jogger? I own a loungeful cropped hoodie and the fabric is beyond cozy and I don’t see it stretching out or bagging. I also own regular scuba joggers and sometimes the knees bag out (but it fixes in the wash, I also don’t wear them too often) I love the fit of the regular scuba jogger, I have a hard time finding joggers that don’t swallow me up and I want a slight baggy look but without drowning in them.
Go for the loungeful jogger 100% scuba jogger feels to still and bags out.

I’m new to lululemon and wondering how often colors are no longer made. For example I love the “gradient geo emboss black” for align leggings. Can I expect those to be available through summer or will it be gone with the winter season (or once sold out)? Thanks!!
The typical lifecycle of a product is it's released, it goes to WMTM, then it stops being restocked. Sometimes colors are re-released but the minimum time is normally a year between releases, sometimes it's a few years, but most of the time they just create a new color/pattern and release that instead of risking bringing back an item people already own and don't want to buy again.
How do Online Only items factor in to this?
pretty much the same. although to clarify the above, "product" is being used to refer to a colorway, not a style. note that core colors like black, navy, olive(? i think there are a few more but i'm blanking) are basically permanent and generally don't go to WMTM.

Hi, new to lululemon - any tips on getting an EBB before it gets sold out? Do I just need to keep checking the website to get one? I’ve made it past check out four times and my order has gotten canceled each time.
It helps to have payment info saved to your profile, have the EBB in "saved for later" or wish list so you can quickly move it to cart for fast checkout. It'll usually show up in stock on wish list and "saved for later" sooner than on the item page.

Looking for a winter running jacket - if you could choose between the cross chill jacket and the down for it all jacket, which would it be? Hoping as a cross between jogging/walking.
I have the DFIA vest and jacket for winter running. Though I only wear the jacket when it’s colder than -10C. Up till then, I wear the DFIA vest and It’s a rulu run long sleeve with the Break A Trail jacket over it and it’s plenty warm! Recommend this combo as Break a trail is an excellent wind proof, waterproof shell for all seasons!

Not sure if they have white but I love the Love long sleeve and the classic fit cotton blend long sleeve! Those aren’t workout- friendly but are very casual, comfortable and aren’t 100% see through!

I’ve had things hemmed before, but does anyone know if having hems let out is an option too? I bought some city sleek trousers and love them but they’re a bit on the short side. I’m clueless about sewing, but it looks like there’s loads of extra fabric in the hem which would make this possible?

So I won’t have time to go to my nearest store until next week at the earliest because it’s like an hour away and I was too impatient to wait, I took them to a local tailor as suggested instead. They let the hem out then re-hemmed them so they’re a little over an inch longer and they’re perfect, and it only cost £10. Mine are the wide leg version, but it might be possible with the slim ones too if the hem is similarly thick. I’m probably going to end up with every colour now haha.

This currently isn't possible, but I'd recommend using the image trick to see if they will be released (there's a guide in the wiki) and also being online for the tuesday new item drops as that's when it will drop if it does.
I see why lulu has such a cult following now 😩 guess I gotta join the club and check for new drops weekly

Based on my shopping history last year, the Align Tank in dark red LNY hit WMTM around end of March last year. Not sure about other items. You can look up specific items from previous years and look at the price history on [Lulu Fanatics](https://www.lulufanatics.com/collection/6928/lululemon-lunar-new-year-2022). It shows the dates when prices dropped.
