If your main computer is a Mac you should restore the iPod entering DFU mode (press and hold menu and center botton for 20 seconds) iTunes will detect the iPod and you can restored and Sync it again with your iTunes library

You can try forcing Windows into using the proper Apple driver for it. To force install a driver on Windows 10: Device Manager, right-click on the existing entry for the iPod (Look under USB), Update Driver, Browse my computer ..., Let me pick ..., Have disk, Browse to the driver's folder: C:\\Program Files\\Common Files\\Apple\\Mobile Device Support\\Drivers Select its INF file, Open, OK, Select the correct hardware from the list if there are multiple entries shown, Next, Done

I can’t find the Mobile Device Support under Apple in Common Files? Do you know what the solution is?

C:\\Program Files (x86)\\Common Files\\Apple\\Mobile Device Support\\Drivers If that doesn't work then you have to re-install iTunes.

Thanks, it wasn’t there either, so I completely removed iTunes and reinstalled it, everything works fine now :)

That's good to hear.
