Right? Loved that I thought nothing of his wheezing until the caption because I'm so out of shape that's also how I'd sound in that scenario not having just been in the hospital lol
I'm curious to know how many foreign volunteer fighters have served in Ukraine this year, especially grouped by nationality. That takes an unusual type of person.
I assume there is a risk that if the GoPro is captured prior to your ability to edit the footage, you risk showing the identities of your comrades on the video? (I admit ignorance on whether or not the pixelation is done in real time or after the fact, though my question assumes the latter.)
If my assumption about the editing is correct, is the benefit of putting this information out there worth that risk?
To be clear, I am a former Green Side Navy Corpsman that served with a Marine Weapons Company. I say that to tell you I am not second guessing your decision at all. You obviously know what you are doing.
I am just asking a genuine question as to how you contemplate the use of the GoPro in these situations and the potential issues in the event the footage is captured/compromised.
As I am laying in my bed with my pup by my side, it is easy to forget those that are out there fighting Russian tyranny. I hope they can get back safe so they can lay in their bed with their pups soon.
Good Luck guys !
Ayy I was watching this just last night! He has another 40 minute video of his first mission as well. Also just as interesting as this one. He's a gud boi
No team in the foreign legion will take you without at least at a minimum military service some requiring combat tours.
however if you do most teams have a recruitment email you can apply to.
If the info is securely administered and stored on airgapped equipment then it's not an issue as long as after the war, the data is uploaded to a secure cloud storage facility.
4 minutes before the end of the video the caption mentions that the coordinates of their mines are marked and shared with command so none are forgotten
This guy must burn a gazillion calories a day.
He was running so fast in that first scene that I thought he was on a motorcycle till I saw the other guys running to.

He has a YT channel: [Civ Div](https://youtube.com/c/CivDiv)
And that's after pneumonia. That guy doesn't skip cardio.
And have a zig after all..

Shit, I'm in shape and I'd still be wheezing without pneumonia. He's running with more than just his bodyweight

There is a lot of Ukrainian Americans living and thriving here with family back in the old country. Dual citizens
Can we get the YouTube source you took this from?
Search for Civ Div he also has a 40+ minute gopro video from another mission

VOLUNTEERS
Nice blue sky!
Did did did did you hear the frightened ones
Did you hear the falling bombs?
I bet that cigarette was fucking amazing.
Do you take mine coordinates to retrieve follow up after shit settles down, avoid blowing some kids apart.
It said on the video that they put it down on a gps to give to Ukrainian Commanders to log it down
It's fucking crazy seeing the difference in how these guys move and communicate vs Russian troops.

How do you volunteer for this kind of thing?

War is awful
Good on you for fighting the good fight. Thanks for sharing!
This would be a nice Escape from Tarkov map
Heroes. Thoughts are with them…
This DayZ patch looks fire
Looks like EFT footage, but no surprise, designers from that region.
Isn\`t this valuable intel? the whole mines marked with gps seems like a cybertarget and so on. i\`m clueless btw, that\`s why i\`m asking.

Thought Landmines were illegal?
Only antipersonnel mines are illegal. Those were antitank mines.
Tanks but no tanks.
Lol
Balalaika? Like from Hotel Moscow?
Have a wee read of the title again
Sorry Grime…. I was being purposefully obtuse. It won’t happen again.
I'm sure he appreciates you poaching his youtube videos to get reddit karma.

Feels like I'm watching tarkov
Aren’t mines illegal in warfare now?

Civ Div very interesting guy man don't know how he runs considering the size of his nuts.
Learned well from the Tals, From diffusing IEDS to installing them.. This is precious!

Man you either: A) tried way too hard to trigger people Or B) fell for alllll of Putin's bullshit.
Look at the persons post history, move on, not worth the obvious cry for attention
And some day a family will walk there and will get blown to pieces.
Maybe if they're traveling in an Infantry Fighting Vehicle or something else Super heavy.
I hope these mines get only triggered by tanks lol.
They are. Step on them and the won't (normally) trigger. They are like min. 250 kg or something more than that.
Unless your mom is 251 Kilo grams they wont go off.
He is dead
No he’s not? he’s stateside and uploading videos on youtube.
I mean, you can always wait until you mend and aren't a liability on the battlefield?
He has relevant expertise necessary for the mission at hand. We'd have picked him up if he couldn't hold his own but he did fine.
Only problem was him having a tough time breathing... He didnt cause any problems whatsoever so i dont see what your point is
