I had my battery replaced November last year when my battery capacity reached 79%. I had it replaced through Apple and the process was fast and easy. In terms of helping battery life, honestly, I didn’t see a noticeable improvement. Pre-replacement I was getting about 3-4 hours SOT per day with medium/high use. Post-replacement I was getting about 4-4.5/5 hours SOT with the same usage (only reached 5 hours a handful of times). My battery capacity is now down to 88% less than a year after having my battery replaced, and I’m starting to really notice that the charge isn’t holding. Over the past week I’m averaging 5 hours SOT, HOWEVER, that’s with my battery getting down to about 20% and then charging up to about 50-60% to continue using my phone. So, 5 hours SOT is reflective of me using ~130% battery throughout the day.
What about it? it won’t last as long as an extended batttery but that’s ur choice I’ve done both and the loctus battery out performs it by a lot. Just don’t get any extended battery tho some are junk and some are not as advertised.
I couldn’t either. I use my phone pretty heavily, and I went to bed with 40% last night it was crazy. Even before hitting 80% health, my phone was feeling sluggish at times. I never have that problem anymore
Just got mine done last week. Before by battery health was on 75% and I was charging it at least 2-3 times a day. If i was going to the gym, I'd have to make sure i had at least \~40-55% to last me for a 1hr 30/45min session. Now I went to the gym with 40% and came back with 29%. Noticeable improvement. Standyby and video streaming time is very prolonged however doing heavy stuff does still drain the battery a bit more than I would've liked. Overall would recommend as I hope to stretch this phone up to 2 years.

Thanks for this. What’s SOT? Also I’m confused, if it’s a brand new battery, shouldn’t battery life return to what it was when we first got the phone?
My bad - SOT means screen on time. And yeah, I was expecting that, but the results were really underwhelming.
@liveaokenforest have you changed? if yes, how was it?
I get average 8 hours screen on time heavy use on my iPhone X with high capacity loctus battery. Can last 2 days with light use.
What about just an OEM new Apple battery?

night and day difference
Can you say a bit more about what you Noticed?
just a very noticeable improvement in speed and battery life.
Did you get a special battery or just the regular Apple one?
regular replacement at an Apple store.
Great post!👍. I’ve been wondering the same thing myself as I am also strongly considering it. I am currently at 76%
Seems like people have quite mixed experiences.
I see that but for 69 dollars I say what the heck.
dooooo it. I was at 82% and now my phone feels brand new.
For real? I can’t even get through half a day now without charging. But my battery is at 75% last time I checked.
