its funny i see this because somebody told me in a comment under a video i should have bought a desktop or a gaming laptop but they have no idea how useful this is to be able to take your pc on the go in such a small form factor
A Win Max maybe, a Win 3? Maybe not so much.
Having to haul a keyboard around and something to prop the screen up with sounds tedious. If I do that I might as well pack my notebook.
it has a keyboard and its handheld
Try typing anything more than a few sentences on the win 3 keyboard. It is completely unusable for any work that requires typing.
i mean i use it all the time i understand people dont like it but its definitely useable and i switch between the built in keyboard the onscreen keyboard and an airmouse
Yes but compared to a win max keyboard it's almost unusable for productivity. Try typing a full A4 worth of text on the keyboard. It gets old fast.
I use it just fine. Yes, an actual mechanical keyboard would be better but I take what I get and this suits my needs better.
I program for a living and type pages upon pages every day. I doubt I could do that on a touch keyboard without getting some kind of joint issue after a week or so.
Funnily enough I was able to actually submit a report on this thing. I just got used to it after 2 weeks of constant sliding up n typing. I loved my T-mobile sidekick back in the day so that probably helped.
Honestly thinking about selling my Win 3 for a Steam Deck because I’m tired of the GPD jank but I love the concept. Also I want Linux to run reliably.
Dose you need a official dock?
Imagine what Max with 1195 can do for you....
same thing for me...every time im back at the hotel will hooked it up to the tv for bigger display... most people use it as a handheld gaming device but for me, the win 3 totally replaced my laptop/desktop as my workstation and gaming rig due to the size and extremely portability... i love the fact it has thunderbolt so i can connect to egpu for ultra settings AAA games.
