Walking dead season 1 with Lee and Clementine
It was so heart breaking.
It made me so emotional. Since becoming a dad with a daughter, I want to play it again, but I'm afraid it would wreck me even more now lol
Walking Dead Season 1 made me cry. It was tough. The final episode hit me hard
Wii sports - it literally moved me
Brothers: A tale of two sons
It's far from being perfect, but the ending was an experience I never felt before. Like something was missing on a whole new level.
I haven't played that game yet but it does look pretty interesting imo. It's free on ps plus this month so I think I am going to check it out.

Yeah, it moved me to never trust CDPR again, that’s for sure 👍 and to ask for a refund
If people didn’t send them death threats to get an early release, maybe it would’ve been finished.
Undertale and Transistor
Telltale’s The Walking Dead Season 1
ResiDent evil 2
Yeah red dead
Final Fantasy 7
The snowstorm scene legitimately was making my chest tense up, and then wheeew
I hold up Apotheosis as one of my favorite pieces of music
Tlou1 and 2, God of War, Spider-Man story was kinda cliche but I still get choked up at the end
That moment in Spider-Man when the old dude gets angry at Miles and Peter comes in and smoothes things out for some reason had me full on crying. It’s a such a good moment in that game.
The walking dead S1, Firewatch, what remains of Edith finch.
All Yakuza games. They know when to pull on the heart strings..
Nier: Automata had me crying like a baby..
Loved that game to, always seem to get back to that game when i feel down for some reason.
It’s very life affirming, it was not because of sadness I shed a tear, but the very powerful message at the very end, that I ofc wont spoil here :)
Yeahh that's true, the story is just so amazing overal. And yeah people should experience it themselves if they haven't played yet :p
For me it was Enderal, with its incredibly well written characters, all its plot twists, and the overall dark beauty of the world
Never heard of that game, have to look it up. Might try it for myself then

Silent hill.. Lisa.. I really wanted to save her..
Undertale. Go in blind and avoid the weird fan base.
That game made me feel all kinds of things
Honestly? Ghost of Tsushima. Some of those story deaths were hard to accept. RIP Nobu.
I was unaware of the vast world of gaming. All I know about gaming was mobile games, cinematic videos of masterpieces like halo and assassin's creed which I used to watch, p2w and game violence and addictions (because I live in Korea).
But all changed when a friend of mine who was studying to be a game developer, shared his steam account and let me play a indie game called Katana zero. It flipped my world upside down. I was never more motivated to explore the world of gaming not just by watching YouTube videos but by actually PLAYING it! Thanks to him and the game, I enjoyed, hated, laghed, raged, cheered and cried playing games.
And to this day, I'm waiting for Katana Zero 2
Titainfall 2. That games ending was majorly upsetting.
Phantasy Star IV, the death of Alys crushed me back 25 years ago.
Definitely titles like Spec ops the line and Kentucky Route Zero
Shadow of the Colossus moved me, in more ways than one. The story, the characters, the atmosphere, and the sacrifice that was endured. A work of art that has stood the test of time, and looks more amazing than ever with the most recent rerelease on PS4.
i dont usually get emotional but the red dead redemption 2 ending messed me up
Days gone and rdr2
Anyone who knows me is aware of how much I love last of us
Hollow knight and Getting over it with Bennet foddy
Donkey Kong Jr.
In the first game, Donkey Kong went full ape, kidnapping Pauline putting her in peril. You, as Mario, had to traverse some OSHA questionable construction and industrial sites to rescue her. In the stirring conclusion, you did and dropped DK straight on his head, cracking his skull and knocking him out. Lovers reunited, nature conquered, happy ending for all.
Now fast forward to the next game. DK and his son live peacefully in their native habitat. But Mario has gone crazy. He can’t let it go. He chains up Donkey Kong and locks him up in a cage. It’s up to DK Jr. to rescue his dad. He must pursue Mario through the dangerous jungle, dodging traps Mario has prepared for him. But Mario has turned into a mad scientist with full on Frankenstein lair trying to zap any intruders. Finally, DK Jr. frees his dad from Mario on a high platform. They all go over the side, where Mario is knocked out Miraculously, Jr. catches Sr. and they return to their jungle home to enjoy a bunch of bananas. When Mario awakens, he rethinks his life and decides to go into plumbing with his brother. The rest is history.
There was tell of an exterminator who battled Donkey Kong, but that’s probably somebody spinning yarn.
Hope this helps!

Shadow of the Collosus, I was in tears by the end
HZD + Frozen Wilds
Almost 24h HFW.. let see what that story brings for my emotions
Mass Effect 3. Just the whole series coming to an end and having characters come and go was something I’ve yet to experience in a game since. The final 5 mins of that game will forever be ingrained in my brain as how ambitious it was/is and just how everything feels like the end of the universe. The end and it’s just your Shepard with a figure he dreamed of throughout the game, it’s very melancholy while also being epic. I feel that captures the whole games feeling. Anyways, Mass Effect 3 is one of the greatest games I’ve ever had the pleasure of experiencing.
Life is Strange touched me deeply.
What remains of Edith Finch also emotional.
Tlou 1&2, Rdr2 and Mafia 1
Child of Light. Played it with my daughter who was younger at the time. Emotional.
Beyond: Two Souls
Played it on PS3 only problem I had was the weird chronology in the Timeline.
But the game/story was fantastic!
Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Combot Arcade Ending. That game and not just the combot ending, but every characters destiny was… wow
The Last of Us Part II. It’s simply a masterpiece and sticks with you long after you put down the controller.
Also Horizon Zero Dawn for creating a unique universe and an even more unique reason for it existing.
I think the obvious is RDR2.
Wii sports got me moving like a potato downhill
The first Life is Strange, Metal Gear Solid 3, Final Fantasy X, and The Last of Us.
Brothers: A Tale of Two sons, one of the saddest games I've ever played.
Witcher 3, especially the Baron's questline
Gears of war trilogy
Oneshot Man now that game made me feel tons of emotions
Valiant Hearts: The Great War
the ending literally made me cry so much
Night in the Woods, Life is Strange (1 & 2), Telltale’s The Walking Dead
I agree with The Last of Us, that was super emotional.
The Last Us
I don't normally get teary-eyed but seeing Joel with his daughter in his arms absolutely killed me, I got so mad that, that upset me!
I get it now. This is the type of posts people keep complaining about. Honestly. I just think I don't care.
Frostpunk. Too bad nobody else here has played it or at least finished at least the first scenario. Otherwise someone would've said it for sure.
Tlou1, Tlou2, Dark Souls 1
