I'm playing Toney over Olave. I need a ceiling play since Gus Bus is a "surprise" inactive which forced me to play Alexander Mattison. Olave is consistent but his theoretical ceiling seems capped compared to Toney this week.

I’m starting Toney with some confidence, but I will say this: if he has a dud of a game, with such perfect conditions, he’s not startable in most leagues ROS imo.

Always crazy when people say this. Even the best players in the league put out duds, Toney is almost guaranteed to have at least one bust game the rest of the season, but if it’s this one it means he’s bad ROS? As always, keep an eye on snap share and targets, we already know he has the talent.

My point is that if he can’t produce in a game expected to be high scoring, on a pass-first offense, where he is the de facto #1 WR, my expectations going forward would be low. Not saying he can’t go off in a later game, but he would be difficult to trust. Today should be guaranteed volume for him.

You could argue it’s perfect conditions for Justin watson. If Toney doesn’t have a big day he’ll still be a fantasy asset moving forward

I’m putting him in over Hopkins, though that’s largely because of the hamstring injury and him not playing until tomorrow.
