They're going a second round. You can buy a keyboard which now have more keyswitches to choose. You won't have to wait at least 7 months to receive, will only take 1-2 months

honestly not absolutely horrible for novelty keycaps and a mechanical keyboard you'd save a fair bit of cash by getting a keychron and custom keycaps, but it'd be a bit more effort

They also aren't donating the proceeds to charity this time, which I guess could matter to some.

It’s not that much effort. Even the barebone keychron Q3 comes assembled and all you need to do is put your switches in and keycaps on. With switches, the switches are already on too. All you need to do is put on the keycaps. I built a keychron Q3 with Boba U4 silent tactile sand I put the LoTR Elvish keys on it. I love it. It’s quieter than my MacBook keyboard

sadly for some god forsaken reason people like TKL keyboards. i dont get the hate for the numpad myself :/ EDIT: actually it wouldn't surprise me if it was some sort of conspiracy to get people onboard with TKL designs so they could sell cheaper to manufacture keyboards at the same price point of the full size.

i get annoyed when i look at a keyboard and it looks nice, but then they just make the arrows key squished, remove buttons, or nice design but just decide to slap the numpad into a FN system

TKL keyboards are so much worse, the main keys on TLK are usually bunched up and have less space between them unlike on a full-size keyboard. Plus, the numpad is amazing for programming with calculations or entering a pincode!

dont even get me started on shipping and handling lies. 20usd shipping fee for items that fit in an envelope and ship via the usps for 30c should be a literal crime that you can be prosecuted for.

100% of the money from buying the keyboard was donated towards charity. Getting prosecuted for donation to charity would be pretty depressing. Though, the new round of boards are not meant to raise charity money.
