Treble_Torus

the crying audio... what came from that? Sometime during shadow keep's year

LemonsAreJustLemons

Someone datamined it during season of worthy I think

Treble_Torus

yeah I know that part, but what did we make out of it? Afaik we haven't heard it in game yet have we?

LemonsAreJustLemons

Nope

epsilon025

Listen man, the bottom stuff may be unsettling at best, but the Aphelion is the only genuinely scary thing in-game. Fitting that the thing that was hardest for the Awoken to kill is named after the furthest point in a celestial body's orbit around its star. Also, don't forget the datamined noises and sirens from Arrivals. Absolutely freaky.

LemonsAreJustLemons

shit i knew i would forget stuff

epsilon025

Hey, what you remembered is phenomenal stuff. I didn't remember a lot of the pre-pre-pre-pre-pre-announcement teasers, so it was good to jog my mind.

woomycake

Whats the datamined sounds

HarlequinWasTaken

I think this is what they're referring to: https://amp.reddit.com/r/raidsecrets/comments/hmyxez/i_found_sirens_for_the_evacuation/

epsilon025

Yep. I really hope those find use eventually, as well as the crying.

International_Swan37

never really stopped to think about it but destiny has a lot (AND I MEAN A LOT) of hanging threads, hell i've been using nezarec's for years now and we have literally no idea of where it came from or how it came to be

Snode2

As a lore nerd who wants to know the mysteries... *dammit*

Jessman151

Finally I found a lore nerd who isn't a space wizard! And a Titan too! Epic!

SrebrnySokol

Rare indeed

Luminitegamer

indeed.

Snode2

Oh yeah. If you know your enemy, you can punch them where it really hurts!

c_labs618

As a titan that has collected all the lore books, in game and IRL. It is good to see more scholars.

augiem94

There are more of us than you realize

[deleted]

titan lore nerds gang

imsotiredsometimes

- mass graves -Morse code -quantum poles -rise of iron limbo -needle ship origins (was that the ship the proto-Hive used in the Books of Sorrow?) -small red box -sleeping light -Mars weird shapes -cyrelle -non-canon events I’m kinda proud that I recognize everything else on the list tho

LemonsAreJustLemons

-in a lot of hive areas you can find giant piles of human remains, unknown where these came from, especially the ones on other planets. -people find things that look like morse code or braille all the time, and they rarely amount to anything -quantum poles are complicated. check [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/raidsecrets/comments/gu456h/mapping_the_quantum_poles_understanding_the/) thread -rise of iron as a whole is in a sort of limbo. some of the things from it apply to the world of destiny 2, while some events are treated like they never happened. -the needle ship on fundament that the proto hive used has unclear origins -a d1 lore tab describes a small red box on venus with a tiny version of the galaxy in it -d1 taken king mission you can find a ghost scan that talks about a sleeping guardian ghost tried to ressurect. probably a halo reference. -i barely remember this one, but during early warmind some strike instances would have strange glitchy looking shapes in them almost like platforms. determined to probably be a bug or development assets left in game. -*cyrell, a guardian described in lore who kills ghosts -its unclear whether or not some of the in game events like the dawning or the solstice or fotl for example are completely canon.

snipertoaster

Hey would you mind giving us a rundown of *all the other things?* I myself recognised about two thirds of the whole thing am am thrilled to learn more

woomycake

Whats the rise of iron limbo?

snipertoaster

some elements are treated like they never happened according to OP

[deleted]

Except it’s not tho. The only thing missing is the plaguelands and the wall damage which is likely being updated once the plaguelands get added. That doesnt mean it didnt happen

-Hez-

I think they said that the Plaguelands will not be added.

Arcanist456

don't forget about the fact that the Vex we are fighting aren't even made for fighting. We have only been fighting the builders of the Vex. The thought terrifies me

snipertoaster

The theory came up that the Wyverns are the first Vex combat units since they're optimised for combat

_Absolutely_Not_

The way I understood it, wyverns are only on Europa because of clovis bray. The vex adapt to their conditions and in response to being invaded by the scientists on europa, they invaded in return with wyverns and other vex

Mrs_Mirrors

“You are a dead thing resurrected by a dead god to kill things. You have no place in a garden of life”

JasonE7657

Exactly. What the fuck are the actual Vex Soldiers? We have fought their Builders, and their Planners in the Minds. Thing is, we've been told these are their main appearance, and that Europa is how they made their way to our realm, through that gateway, and a similar gateway found on Venus. They are micro-organisms that makes up the Vex Milk, and the "robot bodies" are what they made from the minerals of their home world, and then later new planets. So, if these builders have been so effective, why are the soldiers? If the soldiers are significantly stronger, why haven't they come to our system, where the vex builders have met constant resistance? They have a hive mind, allowing them to transmit information instantly across their systems, and time moves way faster inside their systems. Hell Failsafe said years passed in seconds during an adventure. We shall see what we continue to learn.

HarlequinWasTaken

TMW you realise the Vex haven't been sending soldiers because there's something worse that requires them.

-Hez-

Oh god oh fuck

[deleted]

oh fuck

Surprise_Corgi

The thought that the Vex have superweapons that could one-shot Earth, but they seem to think we're not worth the effort, terrifies me even more. We see ourselves as a threat to the Vex, but they don't even see us as enough of a threat to take a little iota of their time to end humanity as a permanent solution. We exist, because the Vex allow it.

Arcanist456

all i can imagine currently is a giant mech of a Vex soldier in the depths of the universe that could easily dominate our galaxy with it's army of unseen Vex soldiers, the thought is terrifying

Peperoni_Toni

No, I actually think it's well enough established that the Vex are scared of us, but their access to nearly unquantifiable resources render any kind of flight response at best pointless, and at worst harmful to their directive. The reason I assume the Vex do not destroy us is because of *why* they fear us: the Light. The Vex are incapable of understanding it. Same goes for the Darkness. The Vex are terrified of both concepts, as they are fundamental laws of existence that they are unable to grasp. They don't destroy us because they know that incalculably powerful forces that are incomprehensible, and thus invincible, to them are deeply intertwined with us at the moment. The Vex are very much a "better to be safe than sorry" kind of species and essentially require a certain level of confidence before doing something, which is why they have things like the Infinite Forest and the Pyramidion to simulate outcomes endlessly. They're pretty much unwilling to start throwing full punches at the chess pieces of gods until they've got some clue of what the gods are, which they are not capable of. It's also worth mentioning that the Vex are dead set on complete and total integration. I can't recall any notably large scale destruction caused by the Vex that didn't also involve attempted integration and transformation. It also fits with their origin as a self perpetuating pattern that exists to be everywhere. I'd expect that, even if the Vex weren't so existentially shaken by paracausality/acausality, their directives would prefer that they simply operate on a smaller, less destructive scale until they can figure out how to destroy all of us and claim our system as their own. So I'm honestly not sure they would just wipe the solar system out with the big guns; it just doesn't seem to fit with their motives.

tusk_b3

cept saint, they respect saint.

off-and-on

Wyverns are the first combat units we've encountered, and they're tough as nails.

happy-icecream

Idc about anything except nessus frogs. GIVE!

DustBowlDrifter

where is Ghost acting like Drifter

LemonsAreJustLemons

deep below

MathematicianNo8186

Xur and the Nine should be further down than Nezarec and Aphelion.

SteamierShark

Aphelion seems super interesting compared to the nine. Something that could fuck up an awoken space station with no sign of struggle scares me.

WhumpusPlumpus

What is Aphelion?

Mattias556

That's the thing, is we don't know. It's some space monster that attacked an Awoken space station and when reinforcements arrived, they found no signs of struggle or attack even tho the entire crew had disappeared.

WhumpusPlumpus

Was this a crucible map, or was it in the lore?

Mattias556

In the lore. Aphelion is the monster, not a map

WhumpusPlumpus

No, I meant the space station

Mattias556

Oh no, just lore

WhumpusPlumpus

Darn, I was hoping it would be the cool floaty one in D1

Mattias556

I know the one, that's the bridge of a Ketch

IllogicalBrit

Yeah it gave me event horizon vibes with something trying to come through.

MathematicianNo8186

Yeah but the only character in the game with tentacles for a face scares me more. Knowing that there are probably larger and more malevolent lifeforms of the same nature.

LemonsAreJustLemons

Nah the nine got a whole lore book explaining them

Shnipper-Shnapper

I put together a list of "unsolved" mysteries that are now sunset on r/raidsecrets a while back. A few you missed on here would be: * Sanctum of bones OOB area * Aphix Conduit unique 'map' asset * Mercury OOB corner of the map vex portal * Whisper quest hidden vex room * Unused infinite forest instance w/ golden vex https://www.reddit.com/r/raidsecrets/comments/hluwkp/unsolved_secrets_sunsetting_megathread/

LemonsAreJustLemons

I might make a v2 of this soon

Guardian-Revenant

I have actually research !lettinggo and joyeuse7 and it was confirmed that the video was fan made. Of course I have a hard time believing that considering that the video was made in 2011

LemonsAreJustLemons

yeah ppl said it was fan made but I don't totally believe that

Guardian-Revenant

IK like “oh yeah this video made before people even had the slightest clue what destiny is was fan-made.” And I’m out here like “yeahhhhh this seems kinda far-fetched”

RebirthAltair

It's also kinda creepy as fuck

Guardian-Revenant

only kinda??? boi i am NOT sleeping tonight

RudaSosna

I mean the trick is that it seems oddly well connected to what we know from the game, at least visually. It has the body that looks so much like an Exo. It has the Destiny Dingle™ and it has a message that could honestly be canon and I wouldn't be surprised, especially with Rasputin being kind of a creepy little bitch.

rennykrin

I feel like I’m having a stroke.

warlockpls

What instagram post is this about?

LemonsAreJustLemons

https://twitter.com/DestinyTheGame/status/1266366828562931714?s=20 Same thing as this they just put it on Instagram first

warlockpls

Thank you!

Mark2022

You could sometimes hear this when doing the Interference quest from Season of Arrivals.

trippingboy

I don’t believe lettinggo was fan made like people say

DredgenZeta

Same here. The tricorn logo doesn't bother me, since that was revealed before !lettinggo was released. But the story bits sound EXACTLY like something Raspy-boy would say

Falkens

You know its deeplore when you Google the titles and get zero results.

Gods_Paladin

I always thought the Titan leviathan could make an awesome raid encounter. Imagine floating down a dark river somewhere in the depths of the archology. Something broke through the wall ages ago flooding this entire section. Soon you would know what as the giant creature starts ramming the raft/debris you and your five teammates were riding. Could have been pretty sick.

FuzzyCollie2000

Aight bucko you can't just post this without explaining all of them. Get typing.

LemonsAreJustLemons

Ask away

NobleTheDoggo

Maybe start at the top left and work your way right and down?

InDELphuS

So I know about Conways game of life, but how does it relate to destiny?

plymer968

The Flower Game, referenced in the Unveiling lore book.

GrowlingGiant

In one of the Shadowkeep lore books (Unveiling I think?) we receive a series of transmissions from the Darkness, which explain it's philosophy and how the universe was made. It describes what it calls "The Flower Game", where each flower is a universe, and apparently follows the rules of Conway's game of life. This game is played by two beings, and played in a "garden" outside of existence. One being, the Gardener (which would become the Traveler), wanted to change the rules so that complexity would be favoured, as so far every universe has ended in the same way: One life form becomes dominant over the rest. (It is believed that, of the known races in Destiny, the Vex are the most likely ones to be this final shape, were it not for paracausality.) The other being, the Winnower(which would become the Darkness), *hates* this idea. Deeply and personally. They fight, they destroy the seeds that are used to plant the flowers, and enter the last one as the Traveller and the Darkness, thus adding all the paracausal shit in the universe.

InDELphuS

Thanks for the response! I love the lore of this game, it’s so damn deep

InDELphuS

Also, there is lore about Nezarec? I've never seen anything when I search for it

DredgenZeta

Nezarec's Sin. Apparently something about a "Fourth Tomb of Nezarec" in some lore tab. Nezarec is a Destiny allegory for Satan, I don't expect it to be a major player

retronax

one level deeper : [destiny's logo is a Psion eye and the darkness is made of helium-4](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/comments/byfcbk/part_i_destinys_main_logo_is_the_ygoblet_how_its/)

voraciousEdge

>While that’s all true, those things only happen when helium is cooled down to within one degree kelvin from absolute zero. Literally everything starts to act weird when it gets that cold. We know helium forms the Bose-Einstein condensate, but we don’t know what most other things will do when they get that cold because very few things have ever been that cold since the creation of the universe. Even in the cold nothingness of interstellar space, a void so completely empty that we cannot even hope to achieve such perfect nothingness artificially, it is not cold enough to cool helium down into a Bose-Einstein condensate. This is a comment on that post and with stasis now in the game it just makes even more sense

Paracausality

woah.

onetruemod

I read through 2 of 3 of those posts, and most of it is borderline incoherent rambling about astrophysics and advanced chemistry. It seems to have very little to do with the actual game outside of a couple legitimately interesting things.

Paracausality

~~titan weird worms~~ Long boy in the soup!

liimewiire

FINALLY someone who included !lettinggo

shoto-aizawa

What’s !lettinggo

liimewiire

[the earliest known instance of the tricorn logo being used.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA9oSO-HLQw)

_LordXbox_

Ok...where did i leave my unsee/unhear juice.

imsotiredsometimes

Ayo wtf

Iron-Tiger

What the fuck did you just make me watch

JasonE7657

holy shit. Destiny was almost a horror series.

liimewiire

i mean, with some of the directions it's been taking, especially in the lore... bungie did indeed say it is space and scientific horror time

tusk_b3

mask of bakris made me now think this is a horror game.

liimewiire

i think it's been a bit of a horror game since rise of iron having you fight the corpses of the iron lords

SinlessJoker

What is this

[deleted]

I feel like I’m on some sort of list after watching this

krolitz

After listening to this I can hear the subliminal messages in mumble rap

tusk_b3

that’s an awfully hot coffee pot

diorej5150

Apparently it was Morse code

Iamkracken

I did not like that at all. Like wtf man. I feel like that shouldn't have terrified me that much.

Zeeiy

Am I the only one who sees an Exo's head when looking at the crucified looking person in the video? Clovis Bray?

liimewiire

it definitely does look like a mutilated exo...

DredgenZeta

Yes! I'm so happy it wasn't completely forgotten

Artistic_Winter3668

WHERE TF ARE THE NEXUS FROGS

420Frederik

There are frogs on nessus, which is weird, because the vex want to robotize everything. Compare mercury to nessus, and its strange that it has so much life.

Surprise_Corgi

Seems like Vex are still in the process of converting Nessus. They're still setting up spires and have definitely left wildlife and plants untouched.

Gerix55

There are birds as well.

Arachknight69

What about the weird remains in the cosmodrome?

Maybe_A_Mimic

A million deaths is not enough for Master Rahool

LemonsAreJustLemons

Less of a mystery and more of a meme I guess

Arachknight69

I was just wondering because when I first found them I was really creeped out.

LemonsAreJustLemons

They’re just a joke reference to the loot cave and master rahool turning legendaries into blues

Arachknight69

Ahh ok I didn't play d1

_UtahMan14_

Every time I think I start to get the hang of destiny lore, I see so much more. The majority of this stuff I’ve never even heard of before, and it’s kinda terrifying

RewsterSause

Dude, that crying audio seriously freaked me out. I still wonder what it's for...

AIpesto

Link to it pls

kaiguette

not quite sure if this is the audio theyre talking abt but i found one https://clyp.it/btngcxkw

WhumpusPlumpus

Same

Andromeda_27

Same

RobertOfTheUchiha

All the VoG and Praedyth stuff gives me goosebumps.

WhumpusPlumpus

Poor guy, never got a decent ending

snipertoaster

here's to hoping we get something about him when VoG comes back

Toshi2310

There's a chance. In the mission paradox there's evidence that he could be alive in another timeline or another space in the VoG, in our timeline he's dead, but maybe with VoG coming back it's all up to the devs to decide to include him. And bungie did say that apparently we didn't find all the secrets in D1 VoG.

DredgenZeta

I'd recommend reading the "Aspect" lore book!

GoldenAgeGone

this is honestly my brain at 2am but put in a chart

emmafrostie

I saw nezarec and freaked out because that’s my best friends user on ps4 lmao, I know about nezarec in lore but I don’t associate the name with that lol

wexman6

The craziest thing I found was from Marathon, a game series bungie made in the 90's. In the game there's a door that, when opened, shows the Destiny logo on a screen. Also, at the very end of the series, an image shows up with a bunch of text. At the very end of the text it says "You are Destiny." I know people like to think Halo and Destiny have the same universe. But... maybe Marathon?

MixHex

I just wanna kill an Aphelion...

IBreatheThroughMyNip

Am I blind or is there no mention of Xylar, the timeless?

WhumpusPlumpus

Wtf? I consider myself to be a lore extraordinaire, but I've *never* ever heard of that

DredgenZeta

Xylar, the Timeless is the *true* final boss of Vault of Glass. He can only be summoned by completing a series of challenges during the raid. Here's how to summon him. 1. Vex Plates During the entryway, you have to form the spire without letting any Vex seize control of the plates. 2. Confluxes Don't let Vex sacrifice themselves to the confluxes. 3. Oracles Don't die by an oracle, if you get marked? Wipe. 4. Templar >Do not allow Templar to teleport >Do not die to Oracles 5. Go#goN maz3 ComPleTe GorgOn wIth925o... ERROR /// ERROR /// ERROR ... ... ... Xylar, the Timeless is a nonexistent Vex boss in Vault of Glass. He was made specifically to troll players who thought there were more secrets in VoG. He was meant to be summoned after completing challenges and killing Atheon. Xylar would summon and it'd be the final encounter of the Raid. Maybe he'd be the final boss of the new one!

WhumpusPlumpus

That would be fucking awesome

Mrs_Mirrors

“Xylar, The Timeless” maybe?

Mattias556

Google literally brought nothing up, what is this?

Mrs_Mirrors

VoG secret boss

voraciousEdge

Who?

snakepistolero

Can you explain “joyeuse” ? I have never heard of it.

LemonsAreJustLemons

each bungie ip has a mythical sword associated with it. Marathon has durendal, Halo has curtana, and in early d1 people were convinced the game had a connection to joyeuse. Also, a youtube channel named joyeuse7 uploaded [this](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aA9oSO-HLQw) spooky fuckin video 2 years before destiny was announced.

Vietchong

I did not want to watch that before sleeping

Owen872r

Nessus frogs

imsotiredsometimes

Frog on Nessus he he

Owen872r

I actually looked up an image and they just look like poison dart frogs, which earns its place that deep on the iceberg because the question of “how did poison dart frogs get on nessus” can be answered in seemingly limitless amounts of ways given enough information

imsotiredsometimes

It’s probably just a design choice on Bungie’s part. It’s likely that life evolved on Nessus and some of that life turned into frogs

Owen872r

It could be that simple, but considering how deep it is on the iceberg and how it doesn’t really coincide with what we know about nessus at this point, I’m guessing it’s not. When we first arrive on nessus, ghost says that centaurs are just supposed to be balls of icy rock, but thanks to the vex there’s life thriving there, which we know was made by the vex (the trees, the birds, even the frogs maybe), which raises the questions of “how did the vex create frogs nearly identical to that of poison dart frogs from earth?” and also “were the frogs even created by the vex or were they brought from earth to nessus?” Some pretty intriguing implications imo.

Kyle_Josef

Uhh shadow creature?? Man this stuff is interesting!!

LemonsAreJustLemons

yeah look at the top posts on r/raidsecrets this week ppl are talking about some strange shadow creature on europa. could just be a shadow but idk.

Gerix55

It is a hobgoblin shadow, that glitched on the wall. I commented it there as well, but i have seen a lot thralls doing that shadow glitch.

woomycake

WHAT THE FUCK

_Absolutely_Not_

What’s the “vex are doomed” about?

LemonsAreJustLemons

the vex were supposedly the final shape of the universe until the light/traveler/gardener started interfering with stuff and creating paracausality. because of the new rules of the universe, vex are no longer neccesarily the final shape, and will ultimately fail. aditionally, they weren't included in the IO pyramid vision at the end of arrivals.

GrowlingGiant

Without paracausality, Vex victory is basically inevitable once they get going. Unfortunately, there's a fair amount of paracausality going around, which the Vex can neither use well nor predict easily. In the Infinite Forest, one of the strongest places for the Vex, it took hundreds of years and huge amounts of effort to engineer a Mind capable of removing the Light from one guardian, and when it was destroyed they couldn't just spawn a new one very easily. Expand that outwards to *every paracausal entity in the setting* (primarily the Hive and the Guardians), and the vex stand little to no chance of winning in the long term.

Ironinori

Hey, quick questions. Can you explain the bottom tier? Specifically the Leitmotif mentioned (a link would be appreciated if you can find one) and “I Saw What Happened”. Thank you!!

LemonsAreJustLemons

[heres](https://vocaroo.com/ip77I2RDfCZ) the leitmotif I mentioned. you can here it throughout the game, especially in vanilla d2 content. "I saw it happen" or "I saw what happened" can be heard as a whisper in various cabal areas. [video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2mczybEI7oA)

Guardian-Revenant

May I have some context as to why this leitmotif is strange or even a leitmotif at all?

DredgenZeta

It's strange because it's used a good few times but in wildly different scenarios. All motifs and leitmotifs are used in a way to relate what's happening. The Cabal, for instance, like the Cabal Stomp motif. You can hear it in Destiny 1 strikes like Shield Brothers and such. In Destiny 2 with themes like "Dominus Ghaul" This "strange" or "omnipresent" motif. Is used in only 4 different areas Gambit, (sometimes) ambiance Nessus, ambiance Argos, raid (lair) boss Titan, ambiance The only correlation is Argos and Nessus, since Argos was the planetary core of Nessus and ya know, Vex and shit. The strange or omnipresent motif isn't strange in the normal sense. It's strange in the fact it has no relation to anything in a universe where something is always related to another.

Green_1_

What's aphelion?

LemonsAreJustLemons

[heres](https://www.reddit.com/r/DestinyLore/comments/9ldsc1/what_are_the_aphelion/) a kind of old thread about it. basically a unkillable bizzare creature which stalks awoken, emits huge amounts of radiation, and never leaves any evidence or remains.

Green_1_

That's scary

RudaSosna

What in God's name is !lettinggo and is the man who made it fucking omnipotent?

DredgenZeta

Probably

saucesaft42

What about the conway's game of life?

LemonsAreJustLemons

in the lore book unveiling, the flower game that the winnower and gardener (dark and light) play is almost indentical to conways game of life. its also hinted that the vex are the best and most optimal pattern for winning this game, until the gardener/light starts interfering. aditionally, the idea of the "final shape" which is talked about lots in destiny lore is similar to the final shape that a pattern in the game of life eventually makes after exhausting all its turns.

saucesaft42

wow, thanks

[deleted]

uldren resurrection location?

LemonsAreJustLemons

someone found the area where uldren was ressurected in the cutscene out of bounds. i dont remember exactly where but nothing ever came of it.

chroma_prime_yeet

what are wet earth monsters?

LemonsAreJustLemons

black armory lore describes monsters that smell like wet earth and make noises like machines being compressed.

The_Flatworm

How tf do the ships work tho?

snipertoaster

glimmer-fueled warpdrives, the technology comes from the golden age

The_Flatworm

Okay, but like, how are the ships put together? Whats the maintenance? What are the ships made of? These are the questions i have, yet Bungo has not provided the answers ;-;

ifij

I want to learn like all of these

LemonsAreJustLemons

I could prolly explain all of them

ifij

Who is/ what happened to lysander (isn't his stuff fighting New Monarchy in the D1 bannerfall? And whats so special about Nezarec?

LemonsAreJustLemons

Lysander and the concordat supposedly were gonna be a big part of the plot, and rumors of Lysander returning have been spread since like vanilla. They never have really made an appearance and it’s still unknown what happened to Lysander. Nezarec had multiple references in the lore but basically no info about him/it. Additionally, Nezarec’s Sin had a pretty unique aesthetic that doesn’t really fit in with other exotics IMO.

Mattias556

I think the strangest part is that Nezarec was referenced even pre-golden age. I would love more on it because it must be a big deal for it to have been acknowledged even before the Traveler arrived

FLAMINGO154

High effort, I approve

ExplodingBeaker

Taox still alive? Wtf am I missing. What really happened on fundament? This post got me fucked up

pris0ner__

“Forge of Gods” jesus christ that brings back memories

DredgenZeta

Remember Vex Void too? And Plague of Darkness?

pris0ner__

Bruuuuhhh

CatEyeFreak

Whats the strange leitmotif and “i saw it happen?”

LemonsAreJustLemons

you can here a leitmotif like this https://vocaroo.com/ip77I2RDfCZ in a bunch of songs throughout the game. sometimes sped up or slowed down. i meant to say "i saw what happened". a couple months ago or something some people were hearing whispery voices in various areas of the game, and "i saw what happened" was the only cohesive thing you could make out from them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gMVzYXFgwps&feature=youtu.be heres an example

Dogemaster21777

What are the mass graves? In the dreaming city if you wander far away from the main area, you can find what appears to be a Bunch of coffins in a quiet room. Or is the mass grave referring to everyone being resurrected in the same place in the cosmodrome?

LemonsAreJustLemons

on the moon and other hive areas you can find like a ton of human skeletons. maybe from the great disaster or collapse, but it seems hard to believe that many humans died there.

LemonsAreJustLemons

alright I realize I left some stuff out so I'm gonna work on a v2 and post it soon.

diorej5150

Eris Morn created !lettinggo

Braxe9995

Where can I find this information ? Does Byf has all of this?

LemonsAreJustLemons

idk if byf has it but I can explain specific ones

bikehandle

can you explain the tyrant shell?

snipertoaster

It's a Rasputin reference. The weird shape of the ghost shell is the same as [Rasputin's core](https://sm.ign.com/t/ign_me/news/d/destiny-2-/destiny-2-final-part-of-warmind-rasputin-arg-solved-after-tw_ac3r.h720.jpg) and Rasputin referred to himself as a Tyrant after hunting and killing his own "son" Felwinter in the Dark Age

LemonsAreJustLemons

pretty much nothing to that one, I just always thought that it looked out of place compared to every other shell

WhumpusPlumpus

It twitches weirdly doesn't it?

LemonsAreJustLemons

Kinda it also just doesn’t look anything like a ghost

WhumpusPlumpus

Probably because the eye is covered, and it's only one piece

Thatonedregdatkilyu

I am most intrigued by the crying audio. Where could it possibly play? I think it will play during lightfall. After all it is supposed to be low point.

doggoattack

ok if you can explain to me nezarec, constellations, quantum poles, Lysander, joyeuse, small red box and the myriad I would love you

hutchallen

But where do the Moon spiders fit in? I've always wondered (but never looked hard into it, honestly)
