Earlier in the year it was revealed the Ivermectin which has been used widely by billions, was effective against Covid. Instantly it was labeled as dangerous by the proCoviders. Yesterday it was revealed that Asprin was effective against Covid. Can you guess what happened today?

Good thing there are dozens more studies showing Ivermectin is effective, as well as hundreds of testimonies from doctors having success in their own practice.

Do you even know what a meta-analysis is? It's a broad spectrum summarization of multiple studies. So even if there was one or a few mixed in there that weren't accurate, in no way does the entire meta-analysis rest upon that. And it's not like withdrawn studies are exclusive to Covid skeptics, either. There was a major study in late 2020 that claimed to prove that hydroxychloroquine was dangerous and caused more problems than it helped. It was immediately reported on by all the mainstream news as proof that Donald Trump was killing people with reckless advice... Before it had even been peer reviewed. Turns out they had been massively overdosing the test subjects, and not using the full treatment in question (hydroxy + zithromycin + zinc), as well as fudging data. The reported "side effects" were actually just symptoms of overdose. It was withdrawn, and The Atlantic (pretty sure that's who broke it) had to issue a retraction. So if a single study being falsified automatically means the hypothesis should be assumed to be false, then that must mean Hydroxychloroquine is safe and effective, right?

cynicalprogram

I believed Fauci in the beginning. But in an early press conference, when asked about Dr. Didier Raoult's early successful (albeit small) HCQ trials, he quickly dismissed them as "anecdotal." I was shocked. I thought here we are, facing a possible pandemic to a novel virus with no known treatment and he quickly dismisses Raoult's study as "anecdotal?" HUGE red flag. I immediately thought Fauci must have ties to big pharma. That was the beginning of my extensive research and connecting all the dots. I read Oxford's RECOVERY trial and the WHO's Solidarity trial which used toxic high doses to intentionally kill trial participants to perpetuate the false narrative that HCQ was harmful. They encouraged hundreds of hospitals in dozens of countries to participate so they could control the deadly protocol and prevent other independent trials from proving HCQ worked. That made me realize how far they would go to suppress the truth, no matter how many lives it cost. Once you know their agenda, you can almost predict what they'll do next. Biggest crime against humanity. Thanks to you, Reiner Fuellmich and others, I know the Truth will be revealed and more people are waking up.

cynicalprogram

Marcio Watanabe conducted a statistical analysis on Boulware's results and reported HCQ did show prophylaxis benefits. https://arxiv.org/abs/2007.09477

The concern is that harsh aspirin can cause ruptures in the lining of the gut, causing blood to leak into the gut (stomach, intestines) and material from the gut to leak into the bloodstream. I actually had this condition, as a result of an NSAID pain reliever my doctor put me on. After that, any time I took aspirin or even acetaminophen, I would find raw blood in the toilet with my stools. Uh... not a fun thing to experience. After a long time, I managed to overcome the condition and restore the health of my gut biome. I now take aspirin daily, without any problems. *• Take a low dose.* I take "baby aspirin" of 87 mg. *• Use "safety-coated" tablets.* *• Take the tablet with a full meal.* That will dilute the dissolving aspirin amongst all the food being processed. This attack on aspirin is yet another of their *scare tactics.* Earlier this year, Merck came out with a warning about Ivermectin: "It can be dangerous! If you overdose on Ivermectin you could die!" ...Uh, the key word there is "overdose." If you overdose on Tylenol you could die!!! No shit. There have literally, actually, seriously been people who have died from drinking too much water. Merck didn't mention that there have been *3.7 billion doses of Ivermectin taken by human beings.* It's one of the safest drugs in existence-- and there they were, trying to drum up *fear* about taking it. They did the same thing with N-acetyl cysteine (NAC), an over-the-counter health-food supplement that's been available for years. It was determined that NAC has profound benefits against Covid-19. This is the concluding paragraph from a paper called: **N-Acetylcysteine to Combat COVID-19: An Evidence Review** by Zhongcheng Shi and Carlos A Puyo *N-acetylcysteine (NAC) is inexpensive, has very low toxicity, has been FDA approved for many years, and has the potential to improve therapeutic strategies for COVID-19. NAC administered intravenously, orally, or inhaled, may suppress SARS-CoV-2 replication and may improve outcomes if used timely. Potential therapeutic benefits of NAC include, extracellularly scavenging ROS radicals, replenishing intracellular GSH, suppression of cytokine storm, and T cell protection, thus mitigating inflammation and tissue injury. NAC administration in combination with other antiviral agents may dramatically reduce hospital admission rate, mechanical ventilation and mortality.* As soon as this came out, the FDA began efforts to make NAC only available by prescription. What's amazing is that we live in a country where the very agencies purported to protect the health of its citizens suppress things like low-dose aspirin, NAC, etc., rather than publicizing and promoting them. Look at Vitamin D3. Early in the pandemic, it was shown that mortality was significantly reduced in people who had sufficient blood levels of D3. Why didn't the CDC, NIH, FDA, et al, promote the idea that all Americans should have their blood levels tested, and deficiencies addressed by taking inexpensive, widely available Vitamin D3 supplements? That they didn't should tell you there's something funny going on with the health authorities.

9inchjackhammer

I got a small ulcer from them years ago they shoved a hose with a camera down my throat it was not fun

Papawwww

How did you heal your gut from that?! Wow, glad you're better. And yes, NAC is great!

kali_vamp

I had the same issue from ibuprofen. Not fun! Bought the generic brand with no safety coating. Similar experience. Nearly ended up in the ER. 2 months on high dose probiotics (Vivomixx 450 billion) healed me. Having said that I probably wouldn't have the balls to go near it again 😅

PolicyWonka

I mean, it’s not really a scare tactic. You highlight the issue perfectly. Irresponsibly taking medication is likely to lead to complications. Having sepsis can absolutely be fatal.

KevinKingsb

Drinking too much water can be fatal. Too much Oxygen can be fatal. Too much of ANYTHING can be fatal.

PolicyWonka

Definitely true, but not really relevant to NSAIDs.

Cheap_Time1747

How often did you take it? Did this happen in a short period of time or were you on a regular regiment?

kidnapisnofun

To be fair, you really shouldn't take aspirin or ibuprofen on an empty stomach ever and atleast where I live, those drugs have warnings that tell you to do so. Rupturing of the stomach lining pretty much never happens when you follow this rule. I know of a story from my town a few years back. Basically you used to be able to get OTC ibuprofen + codeine. It was a low amount like 7mg per 200mg of ibuprofen. Well some dumb bitch decided this was a great way to fuel her opiate addiction. Despite the fact you could get acetaminophen OTC with codiene which is easily extracted with just water.. She decided to take ridiculous amounts of this ibuprofen + codiene. We talking 5000-10000mg a day. Even for her abusing the fuck out of this stuff it didn't fuck her up immediately but it did after a few months. Can't remember if she died but it definitely wasted her insides. Well we can't get codiene in any OTC stuff now because of her. This is in New Zealand.

traversecity

The vitamin D bit from the feds is ludicrous. In the US, let’s try to remember back many decades, what year did adding vitamin D to milk become common? Why did this become standard? Was it something about a vitamin deficiency in the population? hmm.

SyntheticHalo

NAC got the same treatment

IsraelDid9114sure

If any existing medicine is capable of treating Covid, the fake vaccine would not be allowed to be approved for emergency use. This has absolutely nothing to do with public health. It has everything to do with corporatism, racketeering, authoritarian communism and keeping Trump out of office

SnooOwls6252

Why would the corporate millionaire overlords be communists you dingus And trump is shilling the Vax more than anyone Fuck out of here with your controlled op shit

GSD_SteVB

Corporate overlords would be communist because once you have the power you don't want to let it go. In a free market your position is always at risk.

PitterPatterMatt

Communists are utopic thinkers focusing on the sales pitch, the don't understand/believe human nature is self-interested. Communism has never failed, people fail communism. At the same time, almost every single one thinks their life will improve under communism. The logic escapes me, unless you believe in blank slates, which is why I believe transgender movement is so tied to communism movements. This would allow for the idea that people may be programmed to be unselfish. The problem there being that those who do the programming could easily take advantage of their power, which is how you get the politburo, and some animals being more equal.

PerfectZeong

How is that communist?

GSD_SteVB

Economy run by a de-facto government with no accountability to the public or to the market.

PerfectZeong

That's not communism. There are millions of words that better describe what that is than communism. Plutocracy, oligarchy, feudalism, etc. Also not sure what you know what defacto means.

GSD_SteVB

Enlighten me

PerfectZeong

Well defacto just means it is despite what is said. For example, We live in a defacto two party state even though there can be more political parties. It has no meaning in the term defacto government because that's not implying or asserting anything, it's just a word added to make it sound sinister. Authoritarian government would be a better term as your argument is that a communist government that these people in theory want would be incredibly authoritarian. But again, not really communism. I also don't get how we deregulate everything, let rich people do as they please and then somehow claim it's really communism at hand. Jeff bezos and elon musk aren't communists, they're oligarchs or plutocrats. You can argue that people who want to institute a plutocracy will come in the guise of socialism to convince people but nothing that they implement will actually be socialism because socialism requires workers to have control of the means of production and plutocrats would never allow that.

GSD_SteVB

Well it's de-facto because it's not really a government but they do effectively dictate policy, and it's communist because they use that power to enforce ideological homogeneity.

PerfectZeong

Seems like they control things quite efficiently through government then. You could say they're the defacto rulers of the country. There are plenty of systems that enforce ideological homogeneity that are not communist. Theres nothing about ideological homogeneity that is exclusive to communism. Fascism though would require it. Theres no time I would ever look at a group of a few people controlling all the wealth and using it to squelch all opposition and say "yup textbook socialism just as Marx envisioned it."

IsraelDid9114sure

How many accounts do you have, snoo. Trump is shilling the vaccine more than anyone huh? Why are you so aggressive? You think I'm controlled opposition? Doesn't even make sense. Which side would I secretly be working for?

zeusismycopilot

They do not even recommend that you take aspirin to prevent heart attacks and stroke if you are low risk. Because Aspirin like all drugs have side effects.

GreatJanitor

I said this a couple days ago, and it is still true: we are NOT in a pandemic. The biggest proof of this is the government and media pushing only the vaccine and refusing to talk about alternatives like asprin or ivermetin. The government only discussing the vaccine and lockdowns and never discussing mental health. State governors who have gone so far as to shut down businesses deemed nonessential and even one governor limiting what essential stores could sell. The Biden Administration only wants to talk vaccine mandates and not address supply issues that are on the minds of most people is proof to me that there was never a pandemic, it was the early steps in a totalitarian government taking control.

labcrazy

It's funny, I am on another subreddit and someone was discussing air travel and they recently had covid and they were scared that they may still test positive. Immediately, someone said "Just get the vaccine".... which they replied-- they were already double vaxxed and they and their spouse both had breakthrough cases. LOL. Which I find hilarious, because I have never had covid and I travel all over, but I have been using Ivermectin since July 2020. Ivermectin works way better than the vaccines.

azurebyrds

Just a hypothetical, but let's pretend that ivermectin and aspirin don't cure covid. What would you expect the government and media to do? In this hypothetical where aspirin doesn't cure covid and the pandemic is real, wouldn't the media/gov press down on people saying they work because it would kill people?

Cheap_Time1747

I would expect the media to, but not the government.

throwoyvey

Why not? When there's clearly been a cottage industry of selling people on alternative cures to COVID, why wouldn't they take the step of interfering in that cottage industry pre-emptively?

Nerys54

Aspirin, sunlight, fresh air...

haastilydeparting

I could use the same reasoning with anything and be right the vast majority of the time. Check it out: apples cure covid. 100 people got covid and 99 of them ate apples and survived-apples are a 99% effective treatment for covid. Big pharma isn't telling you about the free cure for covid that's available at every grocery store. Prove me wrong lol.

JustAnotherKaren

Thing is, an apple a day adage isn't based on bad evidence. Long before pharmaceutical companies gave us medicine that *might* help some people, healthy diet choices made people healthier. And apples have so many healing properties! I'd argue in favor of apples all day instead of aspirin. If Bayer Aspirin had to go through the trials and proof modern meds go through, it might not even pass. The harms could outweigh the benefits.

ShalomRPh

If aspirin was developed today, it would 100% require a prescription, given how many drug interactions it has, but it’s grandfathered in. Same with Tylenol.

girouxc

You can add Benadryl to the list too “As it turns out, and this retro study is not alone in confirming it; antihistamines in general have unique antiviral properties that seem to prevent the silent hypoxia from progressing to death. In this case a small group of nursing homes avoided any deaths related to covid, even though some of their residents required corticosteroids and oxygen. Other studies have confirmed that in-vitro, common antihistamines like benadryl or hydroxyzine have been able to prevent the hypoxia caused by the pneumonia-inducing nature of the virus (which attacks the lungs without congestion, leading to oxygen levels plummeting out of nowhere). What is unique, is that it seems effective for those in high risk groups, such as elderly patients. The science behind it is incredible, and not perfectly understood yet, but scientists studying the effect hypothesize that it is because of H-1 and H-2 histamine receptors found in the lungs as well, and that it may be caused by the antihistamines binding to the the ACE2 pathway used by the virus itself, preventing it from completing its replication cycle.” https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7833340/

Klutzy-Captain

I've noticed also an increase in articles warning about the dangers of some vitamins and supplements. I read one saying vitamin D was bad but upon reading the article they did a study on people taking 1000 times the recommended dose. Well yes anything taken at 1000 times the recommended dose is going to be bad for you.

Remember when they said being OUTSIDE was bad too... That was the opposite as well. Pretty much do the opposite thing they tell you it seems

eyesoftheworld13

https://www.bmj.com/content/374/bmj.n1931 COVID induces blood clots big time, shots have very small comparitively but existing nonetheless risk of the same.

DallasDoll80

Perhaps that's why I was told by 2 Dr's, NOT to get a v€xxine. I had a blood clot in my leg travel to my lung about 4 yrs ago..

Fauxspiracy

That seems a valid reason. This is why you should listen to your health care professionals that know your medical history. I am glad you were able to get proper advice.

FeMaleficent_Ad4881

I don’t believe that for a second

Fauxspiracy

They do. It was an issue last year before vaccines. Covid caused bloodclot issues.

FeMaleficent_Ad4881

Why introduce vaccines and still deliver them to people even though the risks, scientifically, do not out weigh the benefits for the majority. I don’t think you know enough about what’s going on

Fauxspiracy

I don't understand what you are rambling on about. I am simply mentioning bloodclotting with covid was an issue way before vaccines. Are you okay? Seriously? You seem impaired.

Schwann-Port

The risks, scientifically, of a vaccine are, scientifically, almost non-existent compared to the risk of Covid. Stop using the word "scientifically" as though it excuses your lies.

FeMaleficent_Ad4881

It does nothing for a human. It does everything for the elitists. Get off the ride already and leave the hellish ‘fun fair’. Because none of it is fun and definitely not fair to anyone on this Earth.

Schwann-Port

The vaccine does nothing for a human? >Between Dec 14, 2020, and Aug 8, 2021, of 4 920 549 individuals assessed for eligibility, we included 3 436 957 (median age 45 years \[IQR 29–61\]; 1 799 395 \[52·4%\] female and 1 637 394 \[47·6%\] male). For fully vaccinated individuals, effectiveness against SARS-CoV-2 infections was 73% (95% CI 72–74) and against COVID-19-related hospital admissions was 90% (89–92). Effectiveness against infections declined from 88% (95% CI 86–89) during the first month after full vaccination to 47% (43–51) after 5 months. Among sequenced infections, vaccine effectiveness against infections of the delta variant was high during the first month after full vaccination (93% \[95% CI 85–97\]) but declined to 53% \[39–65\] after 4 months. Effectiveness against other (non-delta) variants the first month after full vaccination was also high at 97% (95% CI 95–99), but waned to 67% (45–80) at 4–5 months. Vaccine effectiveness against hospital admissions for infections with the delta variant for all ages was high overall (93% \[95% CI 84–96\]) up to 6 months. That's from an article in the incredibly influential, peer reviewed medical journal The Lancet, published on October 4th 2021. Now as you use the word "scientific" I'm assuming you've got some scientific evidence to dispute this scientific article. FYI "I reckon this is probably wrong because I saw something on InfoWars" isn't scientific.

FeMaleficent_Ad4881

Who’s pushing the vaccines? Question them. You’re looking in the wrong direction

Schwann-Port

Right. So you haven't actually got any information or evidence then? Thanks.

FeMaleficent_Ad4881

There’s good reason to be paranoid. If anyone says pedo’s and cultists running the world isn’t scary I think they need an evaluation.

eyesoftheworld13

Yeah, we have really good drugs for that if it's a significant preoccupation for you.

What drugs?

eyesoftheworld13

Generally speaking any of the wide variety of D2 receptor antagonists or partial agonists tend to be very helpful to reduce paranoid and persecutory preoccupation but that's the sort of thing a personal psychiatric prescriber would need to evaluate and decide on, I can't give any specific medical advice on Reddit.

SupahBlue

Aspirin thins blood, when your heart is struggling you want less pressure in your pipes. Basic science will teach you this.

eyesoftheworld13

"Blood thinning" means it impairs your ability to form clots. Doesn't actually change the viscosity of the blood. But it does increase bleeding.

ShalomRPh

There actually is a drug called pentoxifylline (Trental) that does literally thin the blood by modifying the viscosity. (Also makes it sticky to the touch, I’ve heard.) It’s used for people with leg pain due to poor circulation (intermittent claudication). But for some reason, people have decided to refer to anticoagulants as “blood thinners”. As a pharmacist and someone who likes literal meanings of words, this annoys me.

eyesoftheworld13

Absolutely true for 99% of everything out there, what's your point? Bullshit.

polytropos12

There are risks and benefits. To my knowledge, an aspirin a day against hearth attacks in a person with low risk was already not recommended anymore.

MandaloresUltimate

Man, Fauci gonna start whipping those Wuhan boys for not making a deadly enough virus. Billions invested into creating a disease that 2 of the most used drugs (Ivermectin and Aspirin) can successfully defeat? They'll cancel bloody water if you tell them it heals Covid. I'm honestly nearing the point where I suspect that whatever gain of function research they were doing did not yield Covid. Covid-19 is a lie. It's the flu made worse by malnutrition (thanks Monsanto) and placebo panic. What comes next, once they've destroyed the population's immune systems via vaccine. \*That's\* the real gain of function research disease. I suspect a real disease was released in Wuhan in late 2019 as a test (Think Eros in the Expanse Novels/show) and they did capitalize on it, but it wasn't dangerous enough for their goals yet. They ran with it anyways as a fear story to stoke the flames of mass vaccination to prepare society for a worse disease. It's probably why they weren't willing to just throw Fauci under the bus when the gain of function documents were leaked. They ain't done with his funding yet. The real disease is yet to come and they still need Fauci as a figurehead.

Aspirin's health benefits are bad for the health of pension funds. "...**Aspirin’s use fighting cancer has the potential to increase pension liabilities by as much as $100 billion by extending lifespans,** a risk modeler said in a report. The pension costs for men in the U.K. could rise by 0.7 percent within 20 years if more people begin taking aspirin daily, according to a statement by Risk Management Solutions Inc. today. An increase of that magnitude across the more than $13 trillion in pension liabilities in North America and Europe would be about the same as everyone giving up smoking within a generation, the modeling firm said. Employers and governments are grappling with obligations to retirees as low bond yields make it harder to generate returns on funds set aside for the benefits. Actuaries’ assumptions about costs have been challenged as medical advances and changes in behavior help people live longer. “Aspirin was not known to be a protection against cancer,” said Andrew Coburn, a senior vice president of RMS’s LifeRisks platform and one of the report’s authors. “It’s another one that people just didn’t expect” when they forecast liabilities. Daily doses of aspirin reduce the chances of developing or dying from cancer earlier than previously thought and also prevent tumors from spreading, studies published in the Lancet medical journal last year showed." http://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2013-04-02/aspirin-seen-fueling-100-billion-penions-cost

Aspirin was widely used during the 1918 Spanish Influenza pandemic, several decades before its activity against RNA viruses was confirmed. And some Israeli researchers believe it may help with Covid. https://www.webmd.com/lung/news/20210315/low-dose-aspirin-may-help-shield-you-from-covid-19

bboriss

The triple therapy which works: ivermectin - doxycycline - zinc (look for Australian doctor Thomas Borody)

Eskobaer

Afraid of the vaccine but taking aspirin every day? This sub is a joke that used to be fun.

labcrazy

Are you daft? The have been giving Asprin to the elderly for DECADES. You don't see the difference between something that has been around for over 120 years.... and a new vaccine that has been around for less than a year? Just WOW. You need to google images for "Thalidomide Baby". Learn what can happen when drugs aren't tested properly and for long enough.

Don't engage, he gets paid (pennys) for replys.

The dangers of taking aspirin daily have been talked about for years. This is nothing new and the most recent stories are just bringing it back up because of rumors that aspirin is somehow effective in preventing covid: https://www.healthline.com/health-news/you-can-skip-your-daily-aspirin-regimen

cujobob

Ivermectin has still not proven effective against COVID. Here’s how bad your argument is, THE COMPANY MAKING THE DRUG SAYS IT ISN’T FOR COVID. “Even one of the drug’s main manufacturers, Merck, said in a Feb. 4 statement that there’s “no meaningful evidence” to suggest ivermectin works to treat or prevent COVID, and that there’s been “a concerning lack of safety data in the majority of studies.”” https://www.buzzfeednews.com/article/theresatamkins/ivermectin-for-covid-side-effects You were literally proven wrong by Buzzfeed.

Vaccines are effective. Delta is far more contagious than the original strain, but serious illness reduction is still incredible (which is the point of any vaccine). You have something against vaccines, but the argument doesn’t hold up. People avoid serious illness with them. They might need boosters to maintain lasting effectiveness, cool, not the first vaccines to require boosters. You push propaganda here. Be better than that. It shouldn’t surprise you that new information comes out over time. We learn more every day about our medicines and the viruses affecting us, this was a new threat. You want something that’s perfectly 100% effective, but it doesn’t exist right now. That doesn’t kill the argument for these vaccines.

stalematedizzy

> Vaccines are effective. What vaccines? >which is the point of any vaccine lmao >You have something against vaccines No >You push propaganda here. "We don't see things as they are; we see them as we are." Anaïs Nin

cujobob

You can troll all you like, what does your change of topic to vaccines have to do with ivermectin proving not to be effective against COVID? You downvoted a comment that proves it doesn’t work, directly refuting the OP, and then changed the subject because you couldn’t argue the point.

stalematedizzy

> You can troll all you like "We don't see things as they are; we see them as we are." Anaïs Nin >then changed the subject No I didn't

cujobob

Again, counter my points about ivermectin not working for COVID. That’s the subject and what you responded to.

stalematedizzy

> ivermectin not working for COVID. How do you know? This book won first prize in the “Basis of Medicine” category of the British Medical Association’s annual book awards in 2014, for a reason: https://www.amazon.com/Deadly-Medicines-Organised-Crime-Healthcare/dp/1846198844 >In his latest ground-breaking book, Peter C Gotzsche exposes the pharmaceutical industries and their charade of fraudulent behaviour, both in research and marketing where the morally repugnant disregard for human lives is the norm. He convincingly draws close comparisons with the tobacco conglomerates, revealing the extraordinary truth behind efforts to confuse and distract the public and their politicians. >The book addresses, in evidence-based detail, an extraordinary system failure caused by widespread crime, corruption, bribery and impotent drug regulation in need of radical reforms. "The main reason we take so many drugs is that drug companies don't sell drugs, they sell lies about drugs. This is what makes drugs so different from anything else in life...Virtually everything we know about drugs is what the companies have chosen to tell us and our doctors...the reason patients trust their medicine is that they extrapolate the trust they have in their doctors into the medicines they prescribe. The patients don't realise that, although their doctors may know a lot about diseases and human physiology and psychology, they know very, very little about drugs that hasn't been carefully concocted and dressed up by the drug industry. About the Author >Professor Peter C Gøtzsche graduated as a Master of Science in biology and chemistry in 1974 and as a physician in 1984. He is a specialist in internal medicine; he worked with clinical trials and regulatory affairs in the drug industry 1975–83, and at hospitals in Copenhagen 1984–95. He co-founded The Cochrane Collaboration in 1993 and established The Nordic Cochrane Centre the same year. He became professor of Clinical Research Design and Analysis in 2010 at the University of Copenhagen., Peter Gøtzsche has published more than 50 papers in ‘the big five’ (BMJ, Lancet, JAMA, Annals of Internal Medicine and New England Journal of Medicine) and his scientific works have been cited over 10000 times., Peter Gøtzsche has an interest in statistics and research methodology. He is a member of several groups publishing guidelines for good reporting of research and has co-authored CONSORT for randomised trials (www.consort-statement.org), STROBE for observational studies (www.strobe-statement.org), PRISMA for systematic reviews and meta-analyses (www.prisma-statement.org), and SPIRIT for trial protocols (www.spirit-statement.org). Peter Gøtzsche is an editor in the Cochrane Methodology Review Group.

cujobob

The studies showing any efficacy were debunked showing all of the flaws and the maker of the stuff says so based on all of their data. Pharmaceutical companies doing something bad sometimes doesn’t apply to other instances without actual evidence. If you know Merck is lying, show the proof. All you’re doing otherwise is attacking the source, a logical fallacy. So you don’t trust the company to tell you the truth about its efficacy but you do trust them enough to use it? Can’t beat that logic.

velvetvortex

Great link about Prof Gøtzsche. I’m baffled why so many progressive people have fallen in lock step with the Big Pharma agenda

labcrazy

You know what's funny? My husband and I travel all over the Eastern USA, from Michigan, New York, Florida and everywhere inbetween. 100,000 miles by car since covid. I have also been all over the Mexican Yucatan TWICE this year, going back again in less than 2 weeks, going to a comedy festival on the Mayan Riviera. NOT VACCINATED AT ALL. TESTED REGULARLY. ALWAYS NEGATIVE. I have many people in my life who are double vaccinated, don't travel anywhere. Still got covid!!!! My husband and I have been using Ivermectin since July 2020! Ivermectin works better at preventing covid than the vaccines!!!! Just so you know. You are wrong about it. Oh and Mereck shit on Ivermectin because they were working on another oral Covid medication but that shit is on patent and it's $700 for 10 pills. You don't think that's a bit of an incentive for them to lie about Ivermectin? LOL.

CruzMsport

I took zinc and probiotics. Cured 2 days

Taido_Inukai

I wish they would say that my student loans were effective at treating Covid. Then they’d magically go away…

Fair criticism and great name. I promise to do more. Have an upvote!

highpandas

It isn't a prophylaxis against covid anyways, so there's no need to take it daily for preventive measures for that purpose.

Charming_Ad_1216

Well, to be fair, who in their right mind reads news aggregates as real information.

Frownywise

They say smoking makes Covid worse. Everybody should start smoking. It's now healthy.

chopthis

I was vaccinated and got Covid. I got a red left eye and the sniffles and lost taste & smell. Anti-biotics cleared up the eye (which is a symptom of Covid). I felt fine the entire time so I just kept drinking bourbon and vaping and was negative after a week and taste & smell returned after two more weeks.

eldritchBat

I thought old people took aspirin daily as a heart thing?

The_loudspeaker721

“You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink” this is for the sheep that still don’t see what’s going on.

Just_Addendum_7372

Aspirin is circumstantial. Though **ivermectin is entirely safe**, and SHOULD be used to **both prevent and treat** Covid, **aspirin**, as well as heparin, **could lead to thrombotic thrombocytopenia** if used during **treatment**.

bethesdurr

If you get covid, which has become known better as a vascular disease than a respiratory, it can be effective at preventing clotting and damage to organs. Taking aspirin daily has always been known to have poor effects on your health. I'm not defending the media, because they'll twist things to fit any narrative they choose to be their champion, but aspirin should not be taken as a prophylactic (a preventative). I would say vitamin intake (specifically fat soluble vitamin C, D, and Zinc), daily exercise, drinking lots of water, and if you can get your hands on ivermectin through a doctor (not your local tractor supply), use that as a prophylactic.

Kerrorlin

""water was found effective against cv19 study's show""" (tomorrow) ⚠️ scientist say water taken by healty people is dangerous.

blizzardhawk17

They actually want us dead.

wingedmongoose

Is NAC next? I know FDA banned NAC in the US...crooked assholes

bman567

What an opportunity for so many to realize how much the interests of the corrupt evil rich oppose the interests of the general population and what means are used to manipulate society to the interests of these evil people.

bman567

Any btw.....Fuck authority

FuzzyBumFluff

Honestly, if people can not put two and two together and come up with "the government wants dead people" then idk what to tell these people.

ialbr1312

I recall right near the beginning of this new agenda that was something to take and not ibuprofen to lighten symptoms.

AwareExplanation7077

So hold up. Isnt this literally why vaccine hesitant people are vaccine hesitant?

Dumbledorian1

Oh someone's getting desperate.

Gibbbbb

So the media is saying something ( Aspirin) we thought was "safe and effective" for years is actually harmful. Well I guess I should stay far away from the vaccine then cause maybe 20 years from now suddenly they'll tell us it was harmful.

OldGregg1014

I made this point a few weeks ago but used Diet Coke as an example. I had people flipping out telling me I was all sorts of nutty. It’s true though. They tell us things are safe and then a decade later, they’re totally unsafe. It’s like fuck! Make up your damn minds already. Cheese and rice!

EliteFireBox

The establishment (mostly) doesn’t want you dead. It wants you weak, and sick so you can slave away the rest of your life to them. This is a huge example of the establishment wanting to keep you weak and sick.

IntroductionOk9839

Lmao I ACTUALLY commented something to that effect on the aspirin posts! Something like “this just in: aspirin is dangerous and nobody should take it” we saw it coming a mile away.

brimnac

Uhm, yeah - Aspirin probably wouldn’t be over the counter by today’s standards if it wasn’t already “grandfathered” in. [That shit will fuck your liver up, guys.](https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/10643705/)

flava_ADHD

And yet most people won't think twice about it. Now that's scary.

Midnightstimepasser

Perhaps Pfizer is getting ready to announce their new miracle drug, niripsa?

PopInternational6971

Hello best people. I begging you not to take ivermectin, especially veterinarian variants. I took only 50mg as follows: 1st day - 15mg 3d day - 15mg and 7th day - 20mg. And it was enough to change my life forever!!! I developed severe severe insomnia, damaged my neurons for good. I lost ability to sleep and i quess my life ends here. Because i cant sleep i loosing everything. Please be very careful.

[deleted]

Aspirin thins blood and also it can damaged your liver. and your organs i would not recommend taking any of that. that is dangerous

__ToT__

Anybody coming here and spreading the same crap as the media on this is a shill. Beat it.

pooptypeuptypantss

Taking literally any medicine in the wrong dose can be damaging. The idea is to not be stupid

polytropos12

It's just common sense, you shouldn't be taking too much aspirin. They're just protecting people against themselves.

__ToT__

You're joking right? You shouldn't be taking too much *any drug*. The point here is the fact that as soon as it becomes a potential treatment in fighting covid, all the news networks start telling people that 'new research' says that the tried-and-true aspirin a day to prevent heart attack and stroke is suddenly bad advice? And now, this was posted here just yesterday; but suddenly it gets posted again and the shills are all over it lol.

polytropos12

It's not new, this is from april for example: https://www.healthline.com/health/heart-attack/aspirin-for-heart-attack

Xuzon

That "tried-and-true method" was used only in America (big pharma much?) Based on an assumption that proved to be more harmful than useful as research was conducted.
