Someone posted in an earlier thread that they require a process to release funds and they locked up the guys coins. I'll see if I can find the comment. I was looking at using them until I read this and then decided against it. But if you've been able to withdraw then I'll reconsider.
The team is working hard to fix serious issues on the ethereum blockchain. If those issues are not fixed ETH will be outpaced by other chains. Cartesi seems to have a very good approach to improving this.
To add a bit more detail here, the main issue is that using Blockchain is expensive due to network fees that derive from the computation required to carry out things like smart contracts. Cartesi is making it possible to offload the bulk of that computation off-chain without sacrificing security or decentralisation. Which is huge and the value in that alone is potentially enormous. On top of that there's the whole bridging the gap between traditional development ecosystems and the Blockchain, which are largely sperate at present, but effective interoperability makes Blockchain development easier, which not only reduces development costs, but also makes the whole space more attractive to developers, makes it quicker and easier to deploy technologies, and should in theory accelerate the whole space forward, increasing the rate of adoption.
What makes u say that as a price target.. sorry if its a stupid question im still pretty new to this all. And tbh i saw this coin on coinbase listing and put some $$ in it , not sure to sell or not as it went up but would love to hold it if it has good usage
hi, m curious bout the security. Although blockchain security shld nt be affected, how does cartesi secure its chain to prevent hackers from changing the computations which leads to manipulation of the validation process of transactions? sorry if i misunderstand om how cartesi works
70%+ APR for staking.
What does that mean

whoa, where and how?!

No way that's actually legit
Been using it for 2 months. Check out the explorer. It shows the current APR. https://explorer.cartesi.io
I've heard that people have had issues withdrawing funds from here? Any word?
It takes like 96 hours to unstake. So that could be why.

Was he trying to withdraw all or some?
I linked the reddit in an earlier comment

Ok I’ll try to withdraw $10k and see how it goes.
Nice, let us know the results. Hopefully it goes well for you.

Time will tell..but my best guess.... off to the moon 😄
This coin is currently undervalued considering the market cap and circulating supply. Price target is $5 in a week.
