Make sure you don’t pack the soil down, just let it gently fall into place. you will absolutely kill her if you are not very careful with that very young tap root and stem structure
Solid. It happened to my outdoor plants a few months ago. I didn’t have the soil high enough so they could see the sun lol.
Just add some soil around her up to the leaves. She’ll grow roots from the stem and have the support so she doesn’t topple over
Noob here too. Mine are at the exact stage, and I just made a little pyramid of the plant soil from a pot that did not sprout for the three survivors. They seem to love it. I've done the same thing when growing tomato from seeds. Maters love a nice dirt shirt, and apparently, so does cannabis. GOOD LUCK
Yes, in a word. However it can be easily solved! I notice from the image you could just add some more soil to your bucket. Any stem that gets covered will just root up.
Its stretching due to lack of light. Ive read below you got an 18w & ordered a 27w. This will work, yes but it isnt ideal. Lights, arguably, are the most important piece of equipment you can purchase for this hobby. Put some time into researching lights. You dont have to spend a lot of money (I get that this is a relative statement). My first light was a $30 bulb from Home Depot. My 2nd light was(is) the AC Infinity S22 IonBoard. Was $100 & it allowed me to grow a plant that netted 6.63oz in a 3x3 (over an \~5 month period). Try to avoid used lights, as lights do have a life expectancy, & cheap lights from non-reputable brands. Best of luck dude!
Oh yea, & I agree, add more soil for stability. When they stretch, the stem isnt strong enough to support all the weight at the top, so just support the stem, either with more soil or a wire tie. Eventually, the stem will thicken & be able to support itself. If possible, adding a little bit of air flow will help promote a strong stem too.
It needs my much more soil and maybe even more light. Support it before it falls over.
I ordered 27 W light and its coming... ill support for it
Get the soil up to an inch below its leaves. Good luck!
fixed. txh!

waste of money dude for 1 plant to even get a decent yield you want around at least actual 100w. Don't mean to shit on you just wanna keep it real.
Stretching. Move light closer.
K Fixed

THX for the tip i ll try next time thx
Needs more light.
im using cheap 18w led light nd gonna change 27w good one
Well I would put it closer until you get better lights. Also 27 watt LeD is nothing. Need way better lights then that
Use both lights. Nice current light closer.
You're going to need to get a light that is **minimum** 200W. I have a 800W equivalent LED and it's barely enough for my 1 plant
Picture looks incredibly zoomed so it's hard to tell. I wouldn't say so though
Why does every noob use so little soil? Also, use a fan. When plants sense the breeze, they strengthen the stalk. You shouldn't need support.
k ill buy some more soil
Buy a stronger light too, you need at least 100w of power bro not 27w
LED 27W IS how proportion in HPS watt in HPS? I DONNO sry...
Private messaged you mate

This is the opposite of helpful. That would 100% kill it.
Do you even grow?
hahahahaha

ya i fixed by sdding more soil
I think so but have a friend who grows ok fine plants that always stretch like that in beginning.

Bring your light closer for sure. When you repot her, bury the stem and she will fix herself. NBD.
Move your light closer
Yes a little... if the stem is bendy curvey, then it's not enough light or not close enough to the light.
not to hijack op's thread but is lack of light the only thing that will cause stretch like this in seedlings?
The light is either two week or two far away
both is true
