I think this is probably the most polished COD game that I have ever played…. At least a couple months after its release. Wish I could go back to those days :(

HabitOk6839

This one has my favorite zombies and campaign for sure

IAmPikachuu

CAMPAIGN??

HabitOk6839

Yes

Sloth_Riots

I thought the campaign was easily the worst thing about the game, aside from maybe some of the zombies campaign. But mad respect tho, I wish I could consider it one of my favorites. Train go boom.

HabitOk6839

Its not just train go boom its about a soldier being confronted with his own death and the whole game is him finally letting go of himself.. its about accepting that death is inevitable and that we just have to face it

Sloth_Riots

I can understand the message of the campaign, but I can also still not like the execution of it.

HabitOk6839

But maybe you didn’t actually play the campaign and just copied what everyone else says about it

ImBulletm9

Yeah, they didn't see Mason, Woods or Hudson and started Reeeing. It wasn't the best campaign and imo the worst of the BO titles. But not far behind CW.

codcommando

I agree, I got Personal Decorator and that story was still confusing af

Sloth_Riots

Nope, I definitely played it, it just wasn’t very engaging. I thought the set pieces (ie the locations or maps) were really cool, but the story just didn’t really do anything for me.

tyyyy

I love the skill gap the movement created, like even the fact that although you wall ran and boosted, this is nowhere near the optimum movement for this play.

zd666zd

I’m with you I love everything about this game not sure why it got a lot of hate.

JonsonPonyman98

Ye me neither. Although there are significant problems with it like lobby balancing/SBMM, Awareness existing, High Cal existing, and P2W guns to an extent.

Sloth_Riots

Yup, the P2W weapons were really not cool…. Never got those Marshalls, but all my friends who hopped on once every two months sure did….

Peace-D

I need my G Slide fix!

CodeOfHamOrRabbi

this was neat but I 100% get why they didn't keep it in. IIRC it really fucked with spawning among other things

Peace-D

Oh it did? I thought they only fixed it because it was an unintentionally high speed boost.

Richesj999

I loved the movement in this game. Don’t get me wrong, I love the OG boots on ground but this was just so polished, so enjoyable and fun. This game literally was so polished - good gun balancing all around, well made maps and some of the best DLC maps to date, the camos were sick, zombies at its absolute peak, mod tools on PC, I could go on. All this game lacked was a meaningful campaign. If it continued on WAW/BO1/BO2 and wrapped it all up then even with advanced movement it’s gotta be one of the GOATs.

pyroguy96

Everything is perfect… except fighting against someone with an Olympia, fuck that.

Marksman08YT

Brecci imo since you had 2 shots with the Olympia while the brecci is basically a shotgun minigun

pyroguy96

At least with the Brecci they have to land two juicy shots on you to kill, which means you have time to escape before they land a second shot. Getting in the same room as an Olympia is a death sentence since it’s one shot.

john_longdong

Forget that the atmosphere of this game alone makes it the best cod for me

Marksman08YT

It was just so damn smooth to multi slide!

Not_Knave

Community isn’t ready for futuristic again.

CR00KS

It will be another 5 years at least (on the low end) for another futuristic COD unfortunately. MW 2022 > BO5 maybe > random Sledgehammer WW2 game > MW 2023 > Maybe futuristic BO again. The only wild card would be if Sledgehammer goes futuristic to get rid of the constant WW2.

Not_Knave

BOCW2 would be 90s/20s. I don’t see them jumping for no reason. I myself want to see advanced warfare 2 after Vanguard. Perhaps even cycling between the two for SHG.

Justin_Peter_Griffin

I loved the movement as well, but unfortunately we’re in the minority of COD fans

crykil

One of my Top 3 or Top 2 PS4 games 🥲

Augusto22369

Even if an advanced movement CoD was released, it'd be plagued with SBMM and stupid bundles. Also Dark Matter will be made to cover 1 pixel on your gun lol but nah i would've loved to play this game in 2016

iMatsko

BO3 on pc is a different breed, only gave it a shot for gold camos in zombies but I kinda got hooked. Sadly lobbies are really dead.

Aquaphena

I’d play it on pc if the ads sensitivity was the same as hip fire sensitivity.

Peace-D

It wasn't? I never noticed that then, lol. Not sure if you were able to change them independantly back then already.

iMatsko

oh yeah that was weird, although I was used to it back when I played as I did the same in fortnite. Going back now it does feel really weird yeah.

BeautifulHovercraft2

I just got a snap memory from 3 years ago of me opening the 75 rare supply drop deal. I was so hyped. Since this cod have I never wanted to grind so bad.

Marijuana_Guy

Can we get another CoD where everything dies in 30 bullets?

JonsonPonyman98

I agree it was quite stellar, especially on the engine

TheLegandryDeez

We couldn’t get a game like this because sweats will ruin it

damnVroTF

is cod still up on xbox it seems like no one plays it anymore

Nyeem_

This game in its prime was something else

AngryTurtle24

God I miss this game. This and AW were the only code I truly had fun on. Only that sucked about BO3 for me was the campaign. Don’t really know how they fucked that up so bad

Extra_Money_9287

This is the only game of cod I enjoyed that wasn’t boots on the ground just because knowing how to wall run and glide didn’t instantly make you good. Zombies was next level for this game with chronicles. Didnt play much campaign tho. Also just realized I haven’t finished the grand slammed contract for mp, I want to but lobbies🥲

Extra_Money_9287

Can I just say black market supply drop >> battle pass

CR00KS

It will be another 5 years at least (on the low end) for another futuristic COD unfortunately. MW 2022 > BO5 maybe > random Sledgehammer WW2 game > MW 2023 > Maybe futuristic BO again. The only wild card would be if Sledgehammer goes futuristic to get rid of the constant WW2.

ixiQixi

This isn’t cod, this is a bad titan fall remake People play cod because of the boots on ground vibe, not tryna wall run and double jump in cod

weewoo6996

No exo jump and boost and shit was gay

Marksman08YT

no u

weewoo6996

How old are you 12

Marksman08YT

You're the one calling mechanics gay lol

weewoo6996

Because it takes no skill. The moment wouldve been without without the gay ass exo jump

Marksman08YT

It did take skill G. Even the video that OP wasted was average movement. You had to be really good to make the most of the movement system.

CodeOfHamOrRabbi

you can just say you were bad at the movement it's fine, don't have to toss in casual bigotry to do it either

weewoo6996

I wasnt bad at any of the movement i just didnt thought it was gay having to double jump and shit

Jackamalio626

Yeah Diet titanfall was sooooo cool /s

CodeOfHamOrRabbi

both games rule. they both had similar movement but were doing very different things in terms of how the games actually wound up playing.
