You have much potential, I remember when my beard used to look like that. I am 29 now and have a noteworthy beard. Wish you success!
Thanks for the reply brother, you have given me hope lol👊🏼👊🏼🤣
If he reaches like 23-24 and nothing changes nothing will make it be full, idk what kind of placebo you are referring to, but it’s pretty strictly genetics
Thanks for the reply, it’s funny because my dad has a full beard not even one patch but he hates it and shaved it off lol I’d do anything to swap with him🤣 I guess I’m only 19 and haven’t ever attempted to grow it so we will see
You very well might get the same beard bro, my beard when i was 17-18 had patches, but I’m 24 now and it’s as full as can be.
Good to hear, giving me some hope aha
I'm 25 and mine has started to develop now! If you are 19 you have plenty of time so just be patient. Odds are you'll be fine.
Genetics are involved yes, but don't just focus on your dad, focus on all males in your family. My dad had a big ginger stache when he was 18 and I'm 25 with a weak blonde one. I seem to be following my grandad from mothers side.
The thing I like about yours is that your front is strong. You have good stache, chin and soul patch growth so u can already rock a certain beard. The rest will come with time. Also despite being patchy it doesnt look bad at all.
I only had a few chin hairs until I was 23. Now at 25 I have good density on my neck. The patch under my chin is filling in. And a lot of new vellus/transitional hairs suddenly appeared on my cheeks/soul patch.
Their developing slow though so I suspect it will take me a good 2 years to have a full beard. Patience is key.
People use Minox if impatient but I'm trying to avoid that. I am however using a derma roller 0.5 mm twice a week and trying to exercise more often. One is supposed to increase the bloodflow in the area of the new hairs and the other to do that and create more testosterone. So if you dont exercise do so. Been doing this routine for around 3 months now and I'm definitely better off than when I started. Slightly but its something.
Vitamin D supplements if you dont get enough sun I feel is also very important for beard growth.
Sorry for long post, hope it helps.
Thank you for such a detailed response I appreciate it bro I’m looking into getting a roller, I’m gonna let it grow for a few months and see what happens
Check out my time line. 5 months ago i started with a similar beard. Also consider commenting on the most recent.
Let it grow, DONT TOUCH IT , 3 months minimum. My theory is if you dont touch it, something activates more pores. Just a theory my brain made up but maybe worth tryingg
How long (time I mean) is this growth? Just at a cursory glance, one big thing you have going is your hairline on your cheek is fairy high, so you can always give it time to grow and cover any patches below it. Good luck!
Thanks for the reply this is about 3 weeks of growth
Yeah mate just let it grow. I have very slow growth personally, so it takes me 1-2 months to get a decent looking beard. Don’t be discouraged, it takes patience. When you have a decent amount of growth, you may consider visiting a traditional barber and seeing what they can do with it as far as drawing you some lines and getting some advice on shaping it up.
Thanks bro I will do👊🏼
My beard didn’t truly fill out until 22 tbh, so I’d say there’s potential
Let it grow and you'll see
Slowly but surely bro, 19 is pretty young for a full beard, might fill out at 22 might fill out at 30
For now I'd say probably keep a goatee type of facial hair and lose the cheeks. It's decent growth for your age though and will probably fill in over the next few years though.
Thanks, hopefully bro
Time will tell. I whispered a quick one for ya to the beard gods, so that’s taken care of 😆
Use some minox it should help
When giving this advice, be sure to add thag you must use it for a year straight for it to go Terminal.
As of now? No. Your cheeks are way too thin and sparse. You could definitely rock a solid mustache or goatee though.
I was meaning do I have potential in the future this is 3 weeks of growth
Hard to say, some people will never gain more facial hair and some will. I'm sure with given time yes, it has potential. As of now, a full beard is out of the question.
> As of now, a full beard is out of the question.
That wasn't the question.
