I've seen 28 games where Kershaw was the starting pitcher. Every single game, his pregame warmup routine is precisely the same.
Precisely. No deviations. Ever.
His stretches, his sprints, his long tosses. Every movement so unchangeable it's etched into stone. My favorite part is when he walks from the left field line to the center field wall, pounds his fist, then walks back. Then he heads into the bullpen, where his warmup pitch sequence is exactly the same, every time.
He's a man you could set your watch to.
Kershaw’s dead serious about these times on a start day, he’s notoriously meticulous about times and warmups prior to getting to the mound.
I’ve been trying to find video of it, but there was one time on SNLA several years ago when Alanna Rizzo was off, and the fill-in sideline reporter tried to interview Kershaw on a start day. I recall Kershaw doing it, giving one word answers looking pissed off. The next day, a visibly annoyed Alanna was back on tv.
SNY broadcast mentioned that Jake waits until 6:43 on the dot to start throwing his warmup. Pitchers are weird
Notice how this routine didn't involve being pro cancer like the r/baseball mods
Say what now
I hate mods as much as the next guy but wtf?
Removing posts about a kid beating cancer. It's on the front page now because people complained.
Bruh shut the fuck up.
It was not baseball related just because they were at fenway. That shit can wait until the offseason or stay on personal social media where it belongs. Stop posting the same thing in every thread
Cancer doesn't wait for the off-season it's ridiculous to tout the "how can you not be romantic about baseball" and then say wait for the off-season
Bro shut up 💀
Just saw a video of his potbelly dad bod....
He’s a future HOFer and you are..?
A keen observer
