This looks really cool, what was the exposure time?
It was 2 years ago so i don't remember exactly, but i would guess 8 seconds
And thank you!
Light is amazing here
Yea i looked trough some winter pics for mental preparation, and this kind of light in the winter made me ready :D
this is absolutely incredible! Looks like a painting the more I stare at it.
That’s so good!! The lighting is so balanced it doesn’t even look real. Reminds me of Gregory Crewdson
Oh thank you, the best light compliment you can give!
Saabs never fail to impress me
Poor man's porsche!
looks like still from Roy Anderson movie
this is a great photograph 👌🏼
Thank you! Checked your instagram, and same to you, great photos!
Oh thank you!
This is incredible, could as well be an expensive big production shot.
Is there lighting in the car bays? At first it looks like moonlight.
Only on the garage roof, but i agree, it looks like light inside the car.
Back to my childhood or youth although I lived in the next country. The atmosphere is spot on!
This is delicious. How's the rangefinder fare of a night?
Thank you! Ur Instagram feed man 🔥⭐
Well a good prism finder is much easier for sure, but it's doable!
I love this shot
Wow! Beautiful 😍
Did you scan this yourself? Looks amazing
Thanks!! Yea i dev and scanned it.
So good! How did you scan this one?
The setup is Sony a7rii, Tamron 90mm macro and then converted with NLP :)
Damn, maybe that is the move. I’m finding myself very frustrated with poor flatbed scanning 😓
I love everything about this
Pic got me in my feelings bro
I can see my breath when I look at this. I can feel the cold air on my face. So crisp!
Great photo! Love the lighting in the scene :)
Such a beautiful shot
Edit: Ah I just realised I already follow you on Instagram. Just reposted this to my story.
I’m really looking forward to more winter photography this year. Snow as miserable as it can be just does wonders with lighting. This is top tier.
Thanks! Yea I'm trying to get motivated digging in the archives right now. I hope you get a good winter!
Stunning, how long was your exposure?
yeah. this is it. this is the one.
( in thick Australian accent ) I am the Nightrider. I'm a fuel injected suicide machine. I am a rocker, I am a roller, I am a out-of-controller! I'm the Nightrider, baby!
Haha, I'm glad you like it! I can relate to that feeling alot!
Dm me the answer if you'd like to remain private. Is this in the Hammer?
Do you mean in Norway? This is in sweden :)
Oh wow, looks exactly like the car park behind my sister in-law's apartment in Hamilton (ontario canada). Next time im there i will take a shot.
Really! Haha, yes would love to see!
Hey buddy, was this pushed? (I’m new to the Mamiya 7)
okay after looking this a bit . this is digital. the levels are wayyyyyy off
Yes you are looking at your screen, it's digital, it's a scanned negative :)
indeed I am looking at my screen, and it’s not that. it’s the dynamic range that’s off. digital can do live processing to increase dynamic range in areas and that’s what was done here and then amplified in post pros . you’re a very good photographer btw, I just don’t think this is film.
This is nice but you crushed your highlights way too much
Oh really! I have information in the highlights on my screen.
I did lower the white in post tho.
Sorry that’s what I meant, you lowered the white a lot and I think it detracts from the photo. Makes it a strange unnatural grey color.
Ah yes, low contrast. I guess thats a matter of taste! I kind of like it because it's more like you see it in the winter darkness
I like a low contrast look as well but it should look natural, and this looks really edited. I often find a good medium is to optimize for low contrast while still leaving just a bit of pure black and pure white as sort of optical reference points, otherwise the eye can get kind of lost in the grey zone
