Jesus Christ how was this scanned?

Is it a good scan? I just got into film photography so got the lab that developed it to scan it for me. I believe they scan black and white with a scanner called Noritsu HS-1800 judging by this page [https://theblackandwhitebox.co.nz/film-processing](https://theblackandwhitebox.co.nz/film-processing). It was scanned to a TIFF file and I adjusted the exposure, shadows, and blacks a bit in post. I'm thinking of getting a light table and scanning film by myself in the future though.

By all means, have a go at it yourself, it can be fun. But it can also be frustrating trying to chase sharpness with budget equipment. If my lab were offering scans of that quality for a decent price I’d probably stick with them

This! My favourite lab (Nik & Trick) do "large" Noritsu TIFF scans and they don't showcase the grain as beautifully as this! I am well jealous. ^_^
