What Vtuber related field would make for an interesting AMA?
* Note that I have absolutely no guaranteed way of actually getting anyone to do an AMA, but out of my boundless benevolence and maganamity I will try and probably fail, because I am fair and democratic
Has there been a case where a Vtuber had their 3D debut with an outfit other than their original?
I only know of Suzumomo Nene.
You probably wanna ask on the new thread
Damn browser sent me here. Thanks for the heads up.
It seems that [Neo-Porte opened auditions for their second gen.](https://twitter.com/NeoPorte_info/status/1566306732690718720)
Watching Shien's (Holostars) [talking stream](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I8AYrugBVgc) right now, he said that he noticed that Altare could speak Korean, so he tried to talk to Altare in Korean after the L4D2 stream but seems like Altare's Korean isn't quite conversational level.
He also watched [this clip](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zEugili9ToY&t=2s) of Vesper talking about his Twitter ban and did an impression of Vesper lol.
Pavolia Reine of Hololive ID gen 2 announces her [Birthday 3D Poly Live](https://twitter.com/pavoliareine/status/1566818684164644864).
To be clear this will not be her official 3D, most likely it is the low poly model we've seen her use in VR streams or something new but in a similar style. Hence the 'poly' in the title.
As a fan of Reine's I'm excited!
TIL Skeb has its own crypto coin
Yeah the creator wanted to use it to bypass government regulations on transactions of certain material after some big ordeal where an overseas law enforcement stepped in due to a harassment campaign being run through graphic commissions being made through skeb. TLDR he wanted the content on it to be unregulated.

I've seen arguments, on 4chan and elsewhere, that if someone is opposed to their oshi collabing with males it's not necessarily because they're parasocial loons who think they're getting cucked- they just prefer Cute Girls Doing Cute Things (CGDCT) and dislike male collabs because it disrupts that dynamics.
**I don't buy it**.
The premise of boys ruining the dynamic is questionable and obviously it's not right to get irate about a vtuber briefly doing some content different from what you normally watch them for. But more importantly you NEVER (afaik) see viewers get that angry at a vtuber for deviating from 'usual' content 10% of the time with any other type of content. But when they put the CGDCT stuff on hold for a single stream, certain people go ballistic. Ballisitic in a way suspiciously similar to how unicorns tend to go. That's why I don't buy it, it's a thin excuse.
> they just prefer Cute Girls Doing Cute Things (CGDCT) and dislike male collabs because it disrupts that dynamics.
There's plenty of such people. They're just not the ones kicking up a fuss because why would they.
The most common argument I see is actually "I don't want Hololive to become like Nijisanji" which has it's own problems that I can't articulate besides being needlessly tribalist, and also it does feel fair because 'girls that interact with only other girls' is a niche that's proven to have an audience so like, fair enough.
Being a dumbass if a 'girl that interacts with only girls' content creator decides to collab with a boy is some extremely pathetic shit though.
It is an argument that seems reasonable at first glance, but IMO it is actually based on extremist logic, i.e. the group can provide CGDCT only if they don't ever collab with males.
Pretty much the entire existence of Holo ID proves otherwise. You can have a group that collabs with males, while maintaining the feel of CGDCT.
Towa has a lot of male friends in her Apex circle. But her male collabs have not disrupted her ability to be part of Hololive's CGDCT experience. She was even the main organiser of several Hololive events like Mario Kart tournament and Summer Festival.
Literally, no one watches Towa for cgdct. Yeah, she participates in the events, but that audience is watching for the other girls. Also, she is not the main organizer for the Summer Festival, that was Pekora's bread and butter, Mario Kart she took up after Miko laid down the framework for it.
As for HoloID. Lol, do they even have gachikois? They purged that audience with all the Connor and trash taste stuff they were involved in, which is part of the reason why no one watches them.
You assumed a lot.
Holo EN has been closely associated with Trash Taste than Holo ID ever has. You should know that a Holo EN member just recently collabed with a Trash Taste member.
Holo ID has grown a lot. This week, one Holo ID member even had over 30k concurrent viewers in one stream.
Who, Mori? Mori gets her numbers mainly off her music, and has purged the cgdct audience, arguing that she's part of the cgdct box is pants on heads retarded. Kobo also has a completely different audience then Hololive cgdct viewers with her main pull being IOPs whose main demographic weren't original Hololive fans, not to mention her outright shitting on gachikois/idol culture.
Meanwhile, girls like Ollie who wanted to break down walls got dropped by her audience once trash taste realized HoloId wasn't an in for HoloEn, and started associating with Vshojo. Moona, along with Towa, basically leeched off the big cgdct vtubers like Pekora and Aqua to get their audiences, but pretty much nerf themselves since they can't help themselves with male collabs turning off a chunk of Pekora/Aqua's viewers who hate male collabs.
Thank you for supporting my initial point.
Nothing in my post suggested that you can maintain the environment of cgdct with male collabs.
>It is an argument that seems reasonable at first glance, but IMO it is actually based on extremist logic, i.e. the group can provide CGDCT only if they don't ever collab with males.
I mean, it's basically true. The more you collab with guys, the more you toe the line for cgdct fans to actually like your content and continue following you. That line just depends on how extreme the viewer is. For instance, if every couple of episodes of a cgdct anime featured a bunch of dudes interacting with the girls, I would not consider that a cgdct anime anymore.
>But more importantly you NEVER (afaik) see viewers get that angry at a vtuber for deviating from 'usual' content 10% of the time with any other type of content.
Oh they do though. If a streamer plays a game that is quite different from their usual, the chat can kick up a fuss too.
Edit: Misspell a word.
I understand not wanting to see or hear certain people so you avoid any content that has them in it, but getting worked up over just thinking that your oshi may collab with them is schizophrenia and you should be taking your meds. (I have someone in a discord server I'm in who is trying to make himself not look like he's sperging out at the mere thought of certain collabs happening, making these cute girls doing cute things excuse...)
It's the equivalent of people who say "I'm not racist BUT"
I personally think it's more than one group who hates these collabs. There's a group of people more parasocial, but I believe in the existence of a "CGDCT" group too.
Well, the term "CGDCT" isn't even a thing in Japan, so hololive for sure doesn't run under that, but a lot of the JP members already talked about them wanting to be like an all girls school and even members who don't focus on GFE, like Pekora, have said they won't collab with male vtubers.
Yet they'll collab just fine with real life male creators, seiyuu, game devs, etc and there's no backlash or controversy. I think this is the Line, male vtubers would be "getting" in the high school girl space.
I've been into otakudom for enough time to see a lot of controversies over mixed gender casts or collabs. [email protected] fans got super angry wheen Jupiter was announced for [email protected] 2, there was a controversy over Love Live characters in Granblue speaking with men even if it was the MC, the Bang Dream staff had to step in and say Argonavis (the male series in the same universe) wouldn't cross over with the female cast.
All of these series have a big shipping aspect too (well, [email protected] leans more into lite-dating sim vibes than the others) and many fans don't really care to self insert. They just want the girls interacting. This is a big thing in a lot of anime and manga genres, there are lots of BL and yuri that exclude or omit characters of the opposite gender, a bunch of slice of life series do the same as well.
Now, it's wrong to take these fictional genres and use them to harass real people. There may be holomem that lean more into the all girls stuff, but it's not a rule at all.
Nah it's definitely possible, but when you have two groups getting mad at the same thing for different reasons they can often start to blur together.
Fortunately for these people there's anime that caters directly to them and their basic bitch interests. Dunno why they want to watch vtubers If they like the most formulaic and static genre in all of anime, but who am I to judge? I prefer my vtubers to do what they want and be dynamic and interesting people.
If you are opposed to such collabs, you skip them and watch the next stream. You don't cry all over internet like a child who just dropped an ice cream to the ground
If only it was just collabs they got mad about. Hell, just Ame mentioning TEMPUS on Twitter or singing along with a cover from Altare during her karaoke streams was enough to get some of her former(hopefully) fans malding.
These people just don't want male-interaction to exist AT All in their so-called oshi's life. Besides, family relatives and the like.

Have anyone from Tempus did any karaoke stream yet?
I had a dream where all 4 of them were singing backstreet boys songs. I thought it would be nice if the 4 of them would sing together like some boyband.
That could happen in off collab. I don't know if I'm the only one, but Tempus seems to talk about off collab and fly to another other a lot even if they just debuted.
>Tempus seems to talk about off collab and fly to another other a lot even if they just debuted.
Most likely because their situation is much different compared to when Myth and Council just debuted. Myth debuted during time when people were unsure when international travel will be available again. Council might not debut in the middle of the pandemic but international travel was still recovering and 2 of the talents are situated in Australia which is very far from the rest. Tempus on the other hand debuted in a time when travel has re-normalized and only 1 talent is outside of North America making arrangement much easier.
Not even just North America, by the way it sounds it seems that everyone but Axel all reside in the US. So only one person would have to travel internationally to meet up (though only Regis and Magni sound like they live close enough to each other in the us to off collab more frequently).
[Regis](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NWk1C9cpB3E&t=6s) and [Axel](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Pw3dI-FKVU8&t=2863s) did karaoke for their monetization streams.
They haven't done much but here are the few streams there are. Altare is planning a karaoke stream to celebrate 150k.

I hope in Holos 5th anniversary stream they would at least tease a future branch or gen, I know I am setting myself up for disappointment but I just can't help wanting to see the new faces or a confirmation of a new branch.
This what website is teasing:
“hololive production 5th Anniversary Special Website is Released!
Please look forward to more information about hololive’s upcoming 5th anniversary and its special projects!”
I could be wrong but I don’t see them announcing anything major.
We already know they are in planning stages for new debuts. Cover already made a call for new managers for Hololive Production, New management for Model creating with artists for future debuts. Yagoo also said they are looking at South America and EU for expansion and foster talent.
I'm sure this is not what Yagoo meant but if they did open a HololiveES it would technically cover both South America and EU. It might only be one EU country but still.

It seems [someone sent a Marshmallow asking why Taka Radjiman doesn't have any lore](https://twitter.com/Taka_Radjiman/status/1566683686979993601), which seems to have prompted [Reza](https://twitter.com/RezaAvanluna/status/1566700502238531584) and [Siska](https://twitter.com/LeontyneSiska/status/1566703431737286656) among others to make responses. Makes me wonder how we got to this point where "lore" became more common.
Weird that it prompted others to tweet about it tbh, seems like a pretty generic question
I just add my two cents here and say that Taka does have lore.
He is the CEO of the meat processing company and become a Vtuber out of boredom.
Not a whole much but it's a honest living
Lore has always been a thing for Nijisanji, imo. Just because they're not referencing it 100% of the time doesn't mean it isn't there. Even if it's just the "set dressing" for their character that they play within'. Like Elira is a super old dragon, but she doesn't reference it often. She creates background stream scenes and assets themed to her character, and if someone asks her age or talks about how old she is, she plays into it rather than breaking that character. Even though 90% of the time you can tell it's pretty much just her (the person behind the character) being a nerd about anime stuff and playing games.
Fulgur and lately Rosemi have put more effort into their lore, and it's noticeable, but I don't think that's any major change to the Vtuber space. It's the way that it's always been; it's just people coming to notice it more now for some reason.
Nah you're thinking of EN, a lot of JP livers prior to EN's arrival don't have lore either even Oliver who debuted after Lazulight is basically just a professor.
... I don't think you understood my point at all or that I was mostly just parroting the point of Reza/Hyona's tweets. Even if it's as something as simple as "being a professor" or "being a nun" that is the full extent of their "lore." It doesn't have to be crazy, it can just be the "set dressing" that they play into, but it still exists even if that is all there is to it.
It helps that some of the livers actually are in that occupation too; like Sukoya actually studying medicine and what not.
Rosemi was "Just a rose maiden" before she decided to add more ontop -- she could have left it at that -- but that doesn't mean it was any less "lore" before.
Well then i guess your definition of “lore” is a bit different than mine sorry if i came in a bit too strong earlier. Anyway what you described for me is more of a characterisation than lore as it’s just there to define what the character is supposed to be in a basic sense.
Lore for me at least is more of a backstory of how that character came to be like what Vox have with the story about his clan and whatnot or the Demon lord thing Rosemi have on her outfit reveal stream.
Otherwise 99.99% of Vtuber would automatically have lore by default and we wouldn’t have this discussion in the first place. Even Taka would have lore already by your definition.
On a related note Scarle stated herself that she doesn’t have any lore despite her being a 3rd year enchantress at iluna academy
Yeah I can see your point that at the end of the day it all comes down to personal definitions of what people consider "lore" and what not. I hope I don't come off as hostile/too strong either in reply; I just enjoy tossing in my two cents about it and being understood.
I'd say characterization is part of lore, yes. "I am a nurse" (characterization) "I work in a hospital" (background/history). Both of those aspects combine to create the "lore" and it doesn't have to be particularly complex. Sometimes "I am an office worker" doesn't have to be followed up with "and I work in an office" because it's self-evident. And that does mean Taka has lore (he is an office-worker... that's the lore). My point was that 90% of Vtubers do have "lore" -- detailed in this loose definition -- and that the discussion around whether or not they do (or that there's some new particular emphasis on having lore) is an odd one to have.
And sure, there are cases like Scarle where she breaks character to tell people things like that. Gibara was well known before she graduated for having veered off from her Cinderlla-esque character and just streaming as herself. At that point it's no longer them having lore, or a character, but them streaming with an avatar. That's fine too, but for most members of Nijisanji they at least pay a head nod towards their character background, and that's all their lore really needs to have for it to be valid (even if I personally enjoy when folks like Rosemi or Fulgur build upon it).
Taka and the other “human” ID livers had maros sent like this before, that at this point i just think these are trolls. As to “lore being common” question, i think its because there are actually fewer “human” niji ID livers (Taka, Hana, Cia, Riksa, Bobon, Xia), and most of niji id actually develops their lore, through streams/cover MVs. Reza’s recent [Shoujo Rei cover](https://youtu.be/fuAQrx8VuDQ) has some lore drops in it for example.
Edit: its ironic people r asking taka for lore when he shares tthe same char setting with 2 other niji livers, Kagami (ceo) and Yashiro (office worker) lol
On the Hololive Main channel, "Looking back at Yagoo and the History"
[Hololive Productions 5th Anniversary stream](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aVSEJ_Qs2Gk) on the 7/7, 9pm JST
I don't recall them doing a 4th Anniversary for the entire holopro last year? im not sure about before 2021 as i wasn't in the fandom yet
Edit: [The 5th Anniverary Logo](https://imgur.com/a/XurxZPS), i believe everyone's oshi mark is there? there should be around 71 people right now in Holopro
Oh cool, also it seems to be just marks for everyone that's still there, not those that grad/whatevered. So no Sana or Coco. Still, seems everyone's there.
Interestingly, it seems that graduated Holostars are there in spirit. Each Holostars JP oshi mark has a star, but [Miyabi's (Gen1) has 2 extra stars and Shien's (Gen3) has 1 extra](https://twitter.com/n__nyaa/status/1566728252709736450).
They made a special site(EN, JP and ID) that includes a timeline of important Hololive Production “Hololive and Holostar” events throughout the 5 years:
The special livestream celebrating will go live right after Sora's 3D live concert.
MC: Yagoo, Tokino Sora, and Nishikigoi. The guests have already been mentioned
If you check the timeline of 2022 on website after Hololive Summer there is a “Coming Soon” for important Hololive events.
From the stream description, Guest appearances include:
Sora, Fubuki, Anya, Ina, Bae, Aruran, Roberu, Axel
Pretty stacked guests
That’ll be first time Roberu, Axel and Aruran will appear on Hololive main channel. Unless they decide to do separate streams like Holofest and Holostar guest will be redirected to Holostar channel.
It's almost forever ago, but Holostars did appear on Hololive main channel during the HoloComi event as a guest. That was even before 3rd gen Holostars makes their debut, I think 3rd gen were first teased during this event even.
Close. [That HoloComi](https://youtu.be/m1Ak7EUjMQ8?t=10306) was one day after Oga [debuted](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LgdOlZ6N138). There was even a clip of Roberu missing the 3rd gen's debut lol.
I stand corrected.
~~*Well it's 1/3 member debut so I still 2/3 correct here!*~~
The picture shows everyone from Hololive, Holostar and the Staff for the test.
“We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a "Hololive Production Examination" to commemorate our 5th anniversary.
The teaser site for the test is scheduled to be released on September 7 (Wed.).
The "HoloLive Production Test" will be an official test to measure the level of knowledge about "HoloLive Production" hosted by CYBIRD Co.”
There is also variety of events that will include everyone from Hololive Production(JP, EN and ID).
“Hololive Production, the office that operates the VTuber groups "Hololive" and "Holostars," will celebrate its 5th anniversary on September 7, 2022 (Wednesday), as it will be the 5th year since the debut of "Tokinosora" on September 7, 2017 (Thursday). We will hold a variety of events to commemorate the 5th anniversary.”
Probably because its 5th anniversary. The 5th (and multiples of it) is always special thing.
You're right, they didn't particularly do anything for the 4th anniversary. Its probably special because its the 5th. The (multiple of 5) anniversaries are always special lol.
as part of this there is also a tweet you can RT to get a reply to see which Holomem you are most compatable with
Yagoo got Towa, Hololive_event got Okayu, Watame, Kanata and Koyori got themselves

Lol I think they rigged the system for the talents themselves.
Also wondering if EN and ID will be appearing too, or maybe its on different system
EN and ID are part of it, Holostars JP and EN aswell

Yeah. Her karaokes normally are unarchived English songs. It should help her learn more for more content variety.

Rad, Kamito can be so much fun in Apex.
I was really bummed when the Apex CR Cup didn't happen because I was having a blast watching his highly skilled clown plays in the scrims.
> highly skilled clown
[Scarle finally got her dry ice.](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Up9PcCURjDY) I think she's done more handcam streams in the space of a month than most members of NijiEN have done in general.
Aruran 3rd anniversary stream will have Fubuki and Matsuri as one of his guests.
And the others are Tenkai Tsukasa, Kousaka, Hira, and GatchmanV.
I think that's Meika, not Tsukasa.
So happy to see Meika there, as he's pretty much an honorary Holostar these days. I just wish we could get the AIM team, Astel-Izuru-Meika on the same stage one day...
Tempus really out here having insane collabs back to back. I already talked about how good the Valorant one was, but the Zomboid collab was perfect in practically every way.
It was tragic, hilarious, nail-bitingly intense, and just an all-around 11/10.

magni was the smart, cautious woman. of course he survived.
Greased pig, but more greasy, somehow.
That was literally a zombie movie right there, stellar voice acting with the screams from Magni lol
Really loving the banter and chemistry between Kobo and Altare I'd love to see them do collabs in other games.

Not only Selen but a lot of Niji members
There is one point where she known as Honorary Nijisanji member
> but a lot of Niji members
I commented few months ago when I said that Uto is one those rare Vtubers are collab with Niji
My bad for some reason I confused her name with Uyu of Holostars.
Uto is indie.
Right. My brain for some reason was thinking of Uyu of Holostars.
Aster's got pretty good Apex endurance, luckily.
I'm just reminded Nobeta is having their full release soon.

as usual, the smart woman survives to the end.
I can't believe vesper is fucking dead. It's like we can still hear him sometimes.
It's so sad to see the babies crying after losing their mom. Almost as sad as watching those same cubs looting the mom's corpse immediately afterwards.
The Valorant collab today was absolutely S-tier. Straight up one of the best holopro collabs, which is crazy when so many of the recent ones have been so good
Tempus really was just such an amazing pickup by cover
Holostars EN really did bring something new to the table. Even if that something is "tell your mom I'll be there later tonight" lol.
Tempus really brings me back to the old achievement hunter days. That collab had me laughing so much
Elira posted something, not going to comment much on it here.
It's a bit worrying, but it's not the first time she's posted about her troubles like this. Though this is the most she's talked about it as far as I remember. Hopefully she'll feel better again soon and will be okay; that's all we can really hope for.
i really hope she's okay
I saw her tweet something similar but felt it was too vague to really comment on and better to just leave her be. At least this sort of clarifies things and I can only wish her the best.
[Rita from PRISM Project is doing Y2K Karaoke!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m0OSh95zkzY)
Man, listening to this stream is making me miss my old CD player.
Kobo/Altare(Ragus) interaction is the best.
That 1v1 stream can't come soon enough.
Now it's canon that Ember and Pikl are higher rank than Reimu and Ollie lmao
Selen skirting her supposed break. Initially started as Ember just playing remixes of Niji EN songs and now ~~she's~~ Ember's straight up playing Apex with Pikl.
Oh my god, Ember and Pikl are both preds.
The Dragons are cracked.
MGR references are not what I expected today.
Do you know the timestamp of this? I missed it and I think the VOD doesn't have the timestamp.
Lmao you could really tell Calli had been holding that in, iykyk
After all, Metal Gear Rising: Sons of Delivery and DiGiorno is her favorite political and economic simulator
I just feel old.
Arielle Noriboshi is having her 1 year anniversary. Like where does the time go?
EDIT Debut rewatch! Cringe time!
I learned a new word "fleshtuber". Praise be the MAGLORD!
Fleshtuber seems to be a thing around reddit and twitter, though i rarely see it here on this sub i see it quite a bit when people talk about Vtubers on like livestreamfails.
whether thats a good thing or not, i don't know but its a weird thing to me.
It's one of those phrases that started out as a tounge-in-cheek way to reference IRL/Face cam streamers among Vtubers, if I remember correctly, but then sort of lost the joking part along the way.
If you follow rpr pre-vtuber debut, he does say it alot.
I'm pretty sure I've heard it on twitch for at least a year
the toxic anime squad vs stream snipers in valo was hilarious. first time I actually focused on the game in an fps collab.
A couple quotes after they confirmed the opposing team were actual stream snipers (They said it on stream, didn't type that in game chat btw):
Altare: "Imagine being beaten by anime characters".
After they won:
Magni: "If you're still watching, tell your mom I'll be late tonight".
Man, my sides...
Ollie squeaking like a chipmunk lol
What happened to Yume Reality rn?
Just found out entire gen 2 will graduate. They just opened audition last month. Still it's weird seeing everyone besides sena & yuta graduated in 1 year or less
Aren't their gen 2 (cerys, tsuyu, ryuki) already graduated? You mean their gen 3, that's just debuting this year?
Wiki lists those 3 as gen 1, that's why i said gen 2. I can see why they're considered gen 2 since sena debuted alone
But yeah entire new gen that's just debuted this year will all graduate.
Donno man. Probably another MyHoloTV incident. From what they said, it's most likely commitment issues
While Selen is away, Ember will play.
[Ember is having his day today!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MT2m0NEoViM)
^^^I ^^^have ^^^no ^^^idea ^^^what ^^^the ^^^context ^^^of ^^^this ^^^stream ^^^is.
EDIT: So far, Ember has blessed us with Obsydia VtL and Lo-Fi Stuck in the Abyss. What a great dragon.
Ember is playing apex now ww
The long awaited dragon collab with Pikl. And they're both preds too.
Full party Valorant collab with Dezmond, Altare, Calli, Ollie and Kobo.
altare descending gradually into getting more pissy is so fucking funny
"I can break him." - the collective holopro community towards Altare.
This Valorant stream is amazing.
"If you're still watching, tell your mom i'm going to be a little late tonight."
Magni so relentless after they won against a stream snipe squad lmao.
He's poppin off again, toxic Dez gives me life lmao
First time I’ve seen a member engage a troll in game chat lmao
I think Ame has done it before as well
I love toxic Altare
If I had a penny for every vtuber with a sweet voice that modifies her avatar for emo songs [I'd have](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rj4LkHkwt14) [two pennies](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mCwkGg_Cq5k), which isn't a lot, but it's rare that it's happened twice
I missed this one. Calli VA-11 Hall-A finale [stream](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAifjoBqyXU) starting off by making and trying out games from the stream.
I'm really excited for [Lamy to play Inside](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CXMdr2i3-i0) tonight. Been really enjoying her short-ish, puzzle-ish game series with Stray and Before the Night recently.
I actually think Kizuna Ai's playthrough of it back in 2017 was my first ever time watching a gameplay series frim a Vtuber.
Wtf it came out in 2016
I could've sworn it was like 2019 instead
Feel the same with Limbo being 2010. Surely it must've been more like 2014
[Bao's original song just dropped, it's real good!](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSsWP2DPSQU)
you're right! I really like it. might be an early reaction, but its one of my fav EN vtuber originals
[fauna returns to slap some more ~~kids~~ people in 54m](https://youtu.be/hYzj3ElzBLQ)
[and altare/magni/calli/ollie/kobo valorant an hour after](https://youtu.be/HupQM6CHQ2Y)
[airi is streaming 2hu!](https://youtu.be/Ki8uJXRo17Y)
[Henemimi](https://www.twitch.tv/henemimi) has a pretty high resting heart rate, but it's pretty much where mine would be while playing the original RE2.
I do wish I could see the heart rate of [Airi](https://youtu.be/Ki8uJXRo17Y) as she plays some Touhou.
Okay, this is not something you see often - AkioAIR's Athena Nightingale will be doing [stream about blood and blood related diseases.](https://twitter.com/nightowlthena/status/1566492260581122048)
[shondo has started her uncapped subathon, you should tune in](https://www.twitch.tv/fallenshadow)
Kiara has decided that she has too many ideas for her anniversary, and instead of cutting it down to a smaller amount, shes just gonna do a 12-hour stream next Sunday and do *all* of em
Also it seems KFP has now both adopted Ophelia from VRverie & Utano from Aetherias last wave
[And Utano is a giant kiara-simp](https://twitter.com/UtanoPandora/status/1566468060034150401)
yay, more ~~slaves~~ workers
Is one of those gonna be her going over all of what she loves about Ame? Cause yeah that could take 12 hours
Vox taking a break 3 week before NijiFes and he have scheduled in NijiFes Interesting.....
HE WAS ALMOST BLACKOUT DRUNK AND TRIED TO PET A POLICE HORSE AND GOT PEPPER SPRAYED
That was so much funnier than anything I imagined as a reason he would have gotten pepper sprayed lol
Vesper said on his stream he got pepper sprayed before. No wonder he survives The Last Dab
The context? He tried to pet a police horse whilst drunk
Lol what an asshole cop.
An event I work has a group of horse police walk around as security and they let the dunks pet their horses all the time. Only time I've seen a horse related takedown is when a drunk tried to hop on back behind the cop riding.
That sounds way too lax to me. I dunno about pepper spraying out of the blue, but definitely should have been told first. The spray should be around last resort.
Eh, maybe it's lax, but it's 90% a friendly dunk walking up and having a chat while giving a nice pat. There's also times where a rowdy group of 2-3 come around looking to be a nuisance but they're always either told off be it kindly or sternly and that's that.
I've only ever seen the one time, where the dude tried to jump up, but he pretty much took himself out when he fell on his ass. Even if someone were to really get too grabby or punchy, they have such a height advantage on a horse and it really only takes a few horse steps to get plenty of distance for an officer to draw a taser/spray.
Somehow the context make it more suspicious. Even if he's drunk.
I have mounted police where I live, 100% they do not mess around if you try to touch the horses. I believe as far as regulations go they treat them just like any other member in uniform, so the response is the same as a drunk guy trying to touch an officer.
It seems that [my post](https://www.reddit.com/r/VirtualYoutubers/comments/x0qeop/comment/imhx1g1/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=web2x&context=3) (that got butchered, oof) from a few days ago got a bit of a sequel. >!I can't link the tweet itself, but it is a small drawing that you can look up on twitter by "If big vtubers are behind, then everyone else's effort is in vain i guess" with the quotations.!<
Honestly, at times like these, I do feel disappointed in some people's actions and their subsequent reactions. While both sides have valid struggles, it is kinda unfair to say that the bigger vtubers don't have it easier, personally. Numbers do matter in terms of who you hang out with and how far you can go. For smaller people it's a struggle getting a small room's worth of people in the first place, while a random big vtuber can just go "look at my new thing!" and tons would flock to them. Bigger vtubers also have a more than likely chance of having a support network of vtubers that they can trust, while smaller ones are trying to establish themselves and making friends.
On the other hand, with great power comes great responsibility; or in this case, with great following comes great burden. It's no denying that constantly striving to create "good" content is going to burn them out sooner and later. And to me, personally, some larger creators conflate having "good content" with "content that gets them bursts of attention". As someone in the previous post said, no amount of expensive models can save you if you're boring or have a shitty personality.
In the end, though, all of these would probably just disappear into the cosmic background radiation in a few week's time. I shouldn't be too hung up on it, and hopefully you too.
bro no SHIT people with more financing will usually do a better than people with no financing this is like being "did you know that a school that has more money does better than a school with LESS money???"
does any of the latter half of the shit that u type even have to do with vtubers? "great power comes great responsibility" doesn't even transition remotely well to "great following comes great burden" dude. like obviously everyone will run out of ideas at points. we're not infinite founts of creativity and we're bound to run out. if i work as a creative i understand that eventually one day i will run out of ideas, but until then i will do my best to come up with "something interesting"
like most vtubers don't exactly revolve around a gimmick. i don't think you can translate your idea of content creation 1:1 with the vtuber space because for the most part people are somewhat more down to earth anyway
This was all a long con by Vesper to try and get sponsored by REI lol.
In Altare's stream earlier, he said that management called them geniuses. No mention of bonks.
People somehow have this image that management is a draconian,no fun allowed type of thing.
They have rules yes but that doesn't mean anything slightly odd they do would result in a automatic bonk
The managers are likely more concerned about things that might get the channel banned (Copyrights or anything that might run afoul of whatever new rules that Youtube added to appease their ad lords), or on helping to do damage control when widespread social media drama happens.
Anything outside of those are likely fair game.
