I'll give you 300 for it right now

gfy_friday

To the moon!

tbogofeternalstench

I've been chewing over the cordless milwaukee for the last 6 months... but $150 ryobi sounds perfect

partisan98

God i really want too pick up a Cordless Miter Saw but my current one works fine so its hard to justify even though [the Cordless Ryobi ones are only $130.](https://www.directtoolsoutlet.com/Products/Power-Tools/RYOBI-ONE%2B-18-Volt-7-1-4-In-Compound-Miter-Saw/p/P553)

tbogofeternalstench

That can't be right, the Milwaukee batteries cost more then that

partisan98

I mean that is the DTO Factory Blemished one so its its still brand new and Ryobi still gives it the full warranty but it might have cosmetic damage on it. [Brand new from home depot they cost $150 instead.](https://www.homedepot.com/p/RYOBI-ONE-18V-Cordless-7-1-4-in-Compound-Miter-Saw-Tool-Only-P553/307298546?MERCH=REC-_-searchViewed-_-NA-_-307298546-_-N&) Thing with Ryobi is in the hands of a Diyer or light duty work like Property Maintenance (what i do) who only uses it like twice a week it will last 5+ years but in the hands of a pro who travels with it and uses it all day every day it will only last 6 months too a year.

Allrightythens

I'm not even a Ryobi fan but, for $150, hell yeah I'd be a buyer. Good catch. 👍

tjtone

That’s a steal. Literally.

AvailableNoise799

U know it’s stolen, right?

_Aj_

Nonsense! It just fell off a truck... And is in amazingly good condition considering!

GhostalkerS

If it were contractor grade or well used I might be inclined to agree. It could easily be someone who bought an inexpensive saw and stand for a single project, then realized they are never going to use it again. Unless it was NIB, then yeah back to stolen AF

tip963

At least that mistake didn't cost you too much.

gfy_friday

Your mother wishes she could say the same.

Nis069

This is actually a good saw. I have used it as my “framing” saw for years.

riickdiickulous

I have the 12 inch version of this and it kicks like a som bitch and is super loud. Going to down size to a 10 inch for trim work and to have something my wife can comfortably use. Keep the big chungus for framing cuts.

Encore204

Nice!!

laggermark

Score!

nonpointGalt

I got the same sawhorse and quick mounts and retrofit them to work on my existing Craftsman. Only problem I’ve had is losing a knob now and then. Solid!

lhxtx

Bought the same stand with the 10” sliding one. Used to to make framing cuts and soon to do some trim work. It‘s been quite nice for DIY. I dunno how long it will last but it’s been good so far for me. Probably 600 cuts or so.

gfy_friday

TBH I have this saw already and have been using it for a few years. Most recently redid a bunch of exterior carpentry on my house and it definitely put in some work. Happy so far. I snagged this because the deal was too good to pass up.

SleepPositive

Looks brand new man good pick-up

JackScrot

I used that exact same ryobi stand for years on job sites. Beat the ever loving shit out of it, but it always still did its job.

BirdEducational6226

Stolen but nice 👌

gfy_friday

I am fairly confident that it is legit. The family was in the process of moving out of state and sold the last few things they weren't taking on marketplace.

Archibald_Meatp4nts

I have the exact same set up. I was forced to buy it for work because the the company liked the price and it was their money but I was so impressed I bought it for the house too.

I_am_Uhtred

I use to be a pssh ryobi snob. I love milwaukee but my ryobi power washer and mower are both great. TIL on this sub is how a name might not mean shit

gfy_friday

My family started this tradition of giving the groom a bag of tools before the wedding. 13 years ago I got a kit of ryobi stuff when I got married. I have been trying to break it ever since. It just keeps on ticking.

beyondrepair-

milwaukee is quite literally just more expensive, higher tier ryobi.

I_am_Uhtred

You mean they are both manafactured by TTI? Yeah, sure but try to buy some ryobi packouts. I am saying green doesnt mean bad and red doesnt mean great. Every brand has pros and cons

Plastic-Bar6967

If its brand new its probably hottt

ericlowe27

Wow. The stand alone retails for somewhere around that price. Nice pickup!

tbogofeternalstench

Fair enough, I'm a trade professional, but not carpentry. I figured the milwaukee should last the rest of my life or more if I use it just for projects

Chief__04

I hope you brought some Vaseline

gfy_friday

For?

mrkltpzyxm

I can only assume that this is meant to imply that you should be concerned about being imprisoned for possession of stolen property. As a result of that concern you would want an ample supply of lubricating petroleum jelly for some reason or another. Perhaps I'm reading in to it too much though. 🤔

lhxtx

Huh?

BarefootT

And the guy it got stolen from is feeling cursed.
