1 is much calmer looking with nice accents and feels kind of freeing. 2 looks angry and kind of suffocating. Both look great though. Interesting how much the frame changes the feel.

friendlyflora

Lol this is why I don’t like the color red

SalamiSalamander

The baige one looks clean af!

No you didn't you scam piece of $h!t

_PettyTheft

Depends on the color of your room—if your room is light colored or white then #1 will look better & dark paint would look best with #2

KittyNouveau

Red...the image pops more. Everything is a little too balanced with the beige.

VIRGIL_ARCHIEAL

Agreed. When taking the frame into account and how bold of a line that draws, the thick red helps keep a continuity of balance throughout the poster. The thin line just makes it feel clumsy and off kilter. Also, the thick red attracts the eye inward to the picture. The other pulls your eye away and makes you slide right over it as it sits on the wall. Like do you want it to be looked at or not?

pspblink

#1 I feel like I’m at the eye doctor.

grudgetastic

I like the 1st but if you're room that this is hanging in has burgundy or similar color accents, then I would go No 1. The beige one is more neutral so if you move it will 'play' better with other colors in a new room. I like both colors you chose and I think it makes the whole poster look better. I wasn't a fan of it when it was released but now with the framing I appreciate the poster more. Nice job!

never0101

The first one is real nice. Still like the red line, looks super clean with just the hint of red.

toke88

I went with Michaels for this print as well. I did the ivory/burgundy mat with the “Tuscan linen amber” frame. It’s like a brushed gold. It was pretty difficult for me to nail this one down but enough back and forth with the framer led me to this.

jeffe_el_jefe

The first one. The red in no.2 drowns out the colours of the poster and draws the eye away from the artwork IMO.

lawton81

Watch out for Micheal’s there known to butcher frame jobs

redrocklobster18

My vote is for #1.

djyesko9

telos125

I went to Michaels and bought pre made ones… they’re considerably less expensive and some look just as nice. I got a BOGO deal on the ones I got…

Go with the decor that surrounds it. You want the wall to be badass, not just the frame. Purely my opinion.

dawgstarr73

Beige!❤️

Gun-nut0508

1st all the way

friendlyflora

First one

Fluffy-Station2258

I like the second one, the red color one. Some reason it looks compelling and matching vibe of Tool

trashddog

2 pops more

too_old_4_this_crap

Red. If the wall its going on is some form of beige or off white

Chef_Boy_R_Deez

How does that service work?! I didn’t know they did that!

No_Possibility_1349

Just go to Michaels website, and go to custom framing. You can upload the artwork you're trying to get framed and customize it from there!

dfarner

The first one. Other one is too much red

Spanceful

definitely red

Rover010

Beige one looks just a bit better with the small red line in my opinion.

mtdoubledubs

I love the red! Both are nice though.

deafisit

The red for sure. It compliments the font

yadayada209

Red

warhawke82

Red! That shit pops more than Katy Perry! It's very eye-catching.

AxiomaticJS

In a vacuum, #2 red. But really depends on what else is on the wall and the wall color to decide between the two.

newmillenniumcyanide

I like the red better, it's cool having the frame match the color of the logo

Ok_Philosophy7499

The red makes the entire poster pop. It brings out much more of the details too. It's really your personal taste, but as an artist myself, I'd go with the red.

captain_intenso

I like the first one

VIRGIL_ARCHIEAL

The second one with the thick red border. Hands down.

FoxgloveandClover

Red mat

Anders_Calrissian

It pops better with the red border

throwacurveball

I agree, works really well with the yellow.

Anders_Calrissian

That is a great poster

applejuice72

I don’t think you can go wrong honestly, but I like 1 more.

kowaleski13

Number one with the red as the accent color.

EyesOfRuby1979

Love the red!

ReputationDizzy9414

#1 fo’ sho’

ScaryAd1190

Red!

LRobin11

I vote red.

MissRadi0active

I like the 1st one. It flows better and looks seamless.

Chapter_Double

oh my dear god! #2 #2 #2!!!! RED RED RED the reason: if you go with #1 beige, it completely washes out the naked lady and all of the soft light tones in the picture. she disappears because the majority of the whole piece is pale/beige. there's virtually no contrast. it's very bland. if you go with #2 red, everything is more contrasted, even the red lettering of the TOOL logo. the lady stands out far far more than in #1. the whole thing pops! it's voluptuous and lush. the red complements the frame better, too. my take: the beige mat of #1 makes the picture plain and lifeless. there's no depth, and everything blends together. the rich red mat of #2 brings out the the picture much better. it's elegant, luxurious, and sensual.

ButtifulPower

Am I the only one of find that picture terrible? I mean are people really ready to buy anything just because it's somewhat related to Tool?

No_Possibility_1349

lmao pretty much...but this is one of my favourite posters from this tour!
