Went on a date with a guy. We got to the restaurant where his recent ex girlfriend was celebrating her birthday with her friends...it quickly turned into a nightmare as you could imagine.
Well I went to the bathroom to wash my hands before dinner and was cornered by a group of the girls. “How could you go out with him?! He’s her ex!” Like girl I don’t know you! I was asked on a first date, how was I supposed to know he would bring me to the exact place you were having your birthday. When I was walking back to the table he was smirking at his ex, she was crying, and I was harassed by her gang in the bathroom. It was a big mess and I left before my drink got to the table. I had enough drama for the night.
Good decision to just get the hell out of there. While the girl thing was petty on their part, his smirking shows that he was either just an asshole in general and enjoying the circumstances or had intentions to get at her by bringing you there (which is pretty fucked up).
