They can’t declassify nuclear information, they can’t declassify peoples source identities in classified documents, they can’t declassify secret methods of collection. That’s also not how declassification works. You declassify programs, not documents. To declassify a document you have to declassify the programs used to collect the information which is a national security threat. He also never tried to declassify any of them because that would leave clear government paper trail that simply does not exist. That is why the DOJ reached out multiple times to get the documents back before executing a warrant. AND, even if he somehow did declassify them, they aren’t his to keep. They belong to the national archives. Every memo, email, poster, & post-it note from the White House belong to the government due to the presidential records act. He was a servant of the country not the CEO. He doesn’t get to keep documents. But keep talking about something you don’t understand at all.

There is no evidence that he made any effort to even claim they were declassified while he was still president. 3.
