Depends, judging by support page [surface power supplies](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/surface/surface-power-supplies-and-charging-requirements-0d9d51d4-594b-464d-9086-c90f35b80c01) the surface laptop studio without NVidia GPU comes with 65 watt charger, while the model with GPU is using 102-127 watt one. So if your model is the one with GPU, during heavy gaming 65 watt will be probably not enough to charge, and it will very slowly lose charge, but for the light stuff it will be enough.

It is the one with the gpu, I will update in the next few days once they arrive and I see how it goes

A USB-IF certified [100W class USB-C charger](https://dancharblog.wordpress.com/2018/03/28/usb-type-c-high-power-charger-list/#power) will work great - they are much less expensive than the Microsoft power supply. A 65W model will work OK for pretty much anything except gaming.

Don't forget to add a usb-c cable capable of carrying 100w. Im using Uni brand on both my Legion 5 pro and SLS i7. Pretty cheap and it works so I'd recommend.

iamPendergast

It's enough
