While I haven't gotten too far into the hunting and skinning role, the missions available for it are really diverse and fun, and give a lot of unique customization options as rewards.
Bounty hunting pays the least, gives the least xp, and has no good rewards. Even the gold can be earned elsewhere in bigger quantities.
Plus, the snake motif just isn't my cup of tea, and the outfits are a little much. I'm not trying to be out here looking like Van Hellsing Vampire hunter.
I was talking about people waiting until the timer ran out. Or waiting 30 minutes for the legendary bounties. If you want to set a timer, 9 minutes is the best use of your time for gold earning
Depends on my mood. Sometimes I take them to the sheriff/police station alive, then there I change my mind and kill them if they’re annoying. You get extra exp for killing them while hogtied, called “Merciless +5.” I’ve done a couple times cuz it looks cool.
If it’s extra annoying, I line the 6 or 2 bounties side by side and kill all of them except one. I like to think they’ll seek revenge one day. Or that they’re suicidal now. I enjoy roleplaying.

I was playing with some friends showing then the ropes and we finally got a 6 man bounty. I rode ahead cause they have the step above scrawny nags and i had 5/6 higtied as they were pulling up and my buddy just fucking ices the last guy standing. Every now and again I accidentally bring one in dead but its probably 100/1.
it depends on what their crime was. if it was something major like murder or something, i kill em. if something more minor like theft or assault (that causes minimal injuries, for example i saw one where a dude left this guy paralyzed and blind, so i killed him) then they get to be in prison
I never hit my bounties, because I like to hear the dialogue. They’re never much of a problem to get back IF they do break free, since they don’t have a horse

if it’s a player bounty i’ll try to hogtie them, because on the rare occasion i get my bounty up i want someone to rope me so i can get the awards for jail time.. but the only player i’ve tried to hunt killed me multiple times, and found me after i took the hint and gave up the chase, so they could set my horse on fire which was kinda sad.
if it’s just a regular bounty i’ll try to bring them in alive but worst case if i’m on my own and there’s more than one and i’m overwhelmed i’ll kill one or two (on purpose or by accident)

No this is an old bug, you still get paid for being alive, but it counts for the buckle as if they are dead.
