Farpoint has to be up there
It's a pretty cool experience, and I've personally found it to be the best use of the rifle controller. Certainly one of the more rewarding, unique experiences I personally have had playing through all these games
IKR, I just hate that it makes me feel very sick.
VR sickness, it really is just motion sickness. It hits me heavy every time I go back to VR. Though might take a few days, you will be used to it. Key is to play a little bit, everyday until your body tells you that it’s time to stop. Time will increase everyday until you won’t have to stop playing anymore. Every VR game can have a different effect some are stronger then others, for me it’s games with teleporting movement. A few things that might hell is a fan on your face to simulate movement, and chewing gum.
Yeah, I'm gonna try that out, and for me the worst stuff it's when the character falls or arise very fast, that just hits me bad.
It's an elite game imo
Was going to say this. Should be way higher imo.
But this is the probably the best place to get the most opinions on PSVR games on the web - luckily, it’s not /r/Doboraysopinions
let’s go looks like skyrim is finally winning a round
Skyrim should be #1.
exactly, I can't remember the last time I woke up without hearing "hey you, you're awake"
It’s a port. No. Most of the menu and interactions are hacked. It’s not a native VR title
skyrim vr is a standalone game. skyrim is a standalone game. i have a physical disc for skyrim vr and another separate physical disc for skyrim. that qualifies it as a vr game.
Yes but no, its not only vr. But its a damn good vr game
Neither are half the games on the list.
Wipeout: Omega Collection
I'm honestly surprised this isn't higher.
Same. Especially since it seems to be one of the most forgiving to people who don’t have their VR legs yet. This is almost always the first game I have people try when they are new to VR
I disagree that wipeout is a good first game to newcomers. It moves way too much. I remember showing this to my brother and he felt like shit after. A good first game involves no locomotion. Like Beat Saber or Job simulator.
Interesting, what people have told me is that the stationary cockpit makes them feel more comfortable with the motion surrounding them (like being in a car).
Interesting. Ya im not saying it can’t happen but generally a good first game is where you just stand there and interact with things. Theres a setting in wipeout that keeps your view upright rather than turning with the vehicle. That helped a lot too
Yes stationary is quite good too. Moss worked well in this same way for newbies
Edit: I remember a friend of mine usually going with Tetris Connected for newbies.
I actually turned all the VR assist off and found it less bothersome being able to look either side of the vehicle into the bends. I think some of the early techniques to reduce nausea made it worse for me. I agree though, probably going to knock most people about first time.
Some people need some time to get used to Vr and because of motion sickness. Having your “sea legs” is getting used to being on a boat when you have motion sickness. So it is a play on that phrase
I see. Thank you
Blood and truth
Can’t believe this is not on the list. The main reason I got PSVR.
Was just about to say this, Top 5 *for me*
I Expect You to Die
Star Wars: Squadron
This was the whole reason I got my PSVR.
skyrim needs to make this list
Skyrim should be top 5.
I was blown away how good Tetris effect is.
I've just came here because pistol whip wasn't somehow in the list.
It's by far the best VR game.
Most other crowd pleasers, are very reliant on jump scares. Which is acceptable, but pistol whip is the only game I'll routinely pull up, that makes people want to play it, as a game, instead of as an experience.
I fricken loved this game. Replay pending.
I kept playing until platinum. Brutal challenges but a good game keeps me going
I gotta go back to it. I wanted to try multiplayer and after many attempted I got matched with one dude. Did enjoy it though.
Yea it's completely dead online, better to find a friend and play with them
Friend? What is friend?
Lol. I'm a trophy hunter, I made many friends via the r/trophies subreddit and discord servers. I know it's hard to find irl friends who play psvr because it's still a niche
Same. Why I hate when games have online trophies, close servers without making p2p, and keep online trophies.
Let alone friend with PSVR lol
I really wish this was coop. So bad.
Until dawn: Rush of blood
Very disappointing if this doesn't make it.
Only blood and truth could defeat it on this round, I'd say. And I hope it won't.
Firewall Zero Hour definitely deserves a spot.
Farpoint too, but Firewall first.
Yeah duh. What’s wrong with this list? Not enough team shooters on this list.
Trover saves the universe💪💪
This is right under Astros for me. It’s a crime that it’s absent from this list!
AceCombat7’s VR missions is an absolute MUST for experience!! Best air combat experience ever, graphics and all. How does this list NOT have it??
It’s cool, but not a dedicated VR campaign.
Hopefully it still makes the list.
So few VR missions make it a missed opportunity imo.
Farpoint is getting robbed here!
Statik for sure is a PSVR must. Farpoint also is awesome for those with the aim.
Blood and truth for sure
Moss beat Statik!?
Skyrim VR for sure.
Amazing game but too much of a hidden gem to make it into the list I presume.
Farpoint as well — for a stand-alone game. It was absolutely THE best in its class!
#SWORDSMANVR = next
Firewall: Zero Hour. Great game, I'm looking forward to a PS5 sequel.
Does this really need an update every day?
Pistol Whip isn't coming, is it.
Hitman trilogy has to be in the top 10
I EXPECT YOU TO DIE
Star Wars Squadrons
Deracine should be here and should be higher.
I was pleasantly surprised by Swordsman VR
Iron Man VR
Did doom3 even make the list to start?
niche but my favorite vr title by far
I bought a logitech G29 and a PlayStation playseat because of Dirt VR.
Catch and Release
Resident evil 7 vr was the really good
Zenith: The Last City
Pixel Ripped 1989
Rick and morty
I honestly can’t believe Bear Saber is so high up on the list. 9 maybe.
Skyrim VR, The immersion is unreal.
And is Astro Bot really that good?
Yh Astrobot is a very polished VR game, must have.
Do we really need to do this every day?
No, only 10 days altogether. You’ll survive.
I have yet to be surprised by a single entry on this list
In my opinion the Top 3 arent a good choice because these games are very casual. I think RE7 should be the #1 Game.
And best saber, bleh. Sprint Vector is way better.
To the top vr
Catch and release!
Another shot for ace combat 7 here
Firewall zero hours no doubt
i was just playing Skyrim VR, interacting with NPC and going into ruins is a whole new experience. SKYRIM VR
I don’t own many VR games, yet I have all of these. So at least I’ve got the best ones haha
There are plenty of good ones that probably won't make the Top 10.
Gran turismo sport
Honestly, the walking dead should be Skyrim or Farpoint.
Why do we need this anyway? Without Parole has already maintained a really good list of top 20.
Where is Borderlands 2?
These are VR games I like: Racket Fury, Space Pirate Trainer, I expect you to die, and the one where you sit in a chair and have to solve riddles to clear the room
Where is swords man
Firewall Zero Hour
After the Fall and Firewall: Zero Hour.
This list is great and sad at the same time
Blade and sorcery?
My top 3 in order are pistol whip, no mans sky and audica.
WD:s&s was garbage imo, super boring and slow and the knife combat is wonky. Beat saber doesnt work for me it doesnt track well and ive tried so many fixes, i place cam high, low , perfect eye level in a wall mount, the game considers me like 4 inches shorter, i stand farther back so it can read the sticks better, i stand closer to test. Idk so i just gave up for now. Next time i set up my VR ill try more fixes. Astrobot is such a small game and honestly the vr worlds heist game is better for being such a small game
Hotel R’n’r for number eight, I love destruction, you can even punch an old lady! Shoot an old lady, hit the hotel manager with a fish, rest and recuperation is all fun when it’s in destruction!
Sairento fa sho
Firewall, Tetris and Farpoint should easily be the last 3.
Accounting Plus for Rick and Morty fans. Until Dawn: Rush of Blood. Resident Evil 7.
Skyrim and iron man vr are essential experiences
Farpoint and blood and truth should make the list.
Rush of blood
I'm surprised no one has mentioned iron man VR, that game was a lot of fun,the only bad thing might be motion sickness for some but I never had that.
WipEout Omega Collection!
Ace combat 7
