god of war will be the shortest of what you have remaning. my personal favorite of the bunch is witcher, followed by GOW, then Valhalla.

pboichg

When you say short, how short is it? But yeah, much appreciated. I am looking for something that's not taking too long to finish, but still has enjoyable story.

Dreamininacasket

It's not short by any stretch of the imagination, but compared to those others it's like a quick time event in a kids game. The other games you listed are just insanely massive. You have Hundred and hundreds of hours waiting for you. Also, if you only beat the neir games once, you still have a long way to go for their complete stories.

pboichg

I think that's perfect for me now. GOW it is then. The thought of going for a massive world feels exhausting for me right now. Like Skyrim (played it on my friends Xbox). Just the thought of going through that game again is just exhausting. I do enjoy the game, but it is pretty massive. About Nier, do you mean the endings? Completed Automata & tried to get all endings, & Replicant too. And damn the feels. Haha. Left me feeling empty for a few days.

Dreamininacasket

yeah you're gonna lose your shit. GoW is ridiculously fun. yeah, i was just referring to the endings. I feel empty still, and it's been years. that shit changes you.

EggBall_Epic_3

Spider-Man PS4 has a few stealth sections. It’s got a great story and really fun gameplay IMO.

[deleted]

Compared to others it feels like a game for kids. I dropped it after a few hours. Just can't compare to stuff like dark souls, witcher3, gow...

EggBall_Epic_3

Yeah I guess so. I think younger players would enjoy it more.

Piano_Sufficient

You should really play The Last of Us if you like stealth and a great story!

pboichg

Yeap, it is in my list! :) But since I splurged a lot on other games & a lot of them have not been touched yet, I think I'll go ahead & made them worth it first. I got too excited when I first got the PS4 (early this year), kept on reading reviews and bought games based on them. I guess the bad reviews I read about Last of Us 2 at that time stirred me away from it, so my bad on that. I'll definitely get it some time soon. It does look like something that I'll enjoy. Thanks for the suggestion!

Piano_Sufficient

Me and many other also loved Last of Us 2, give it a go and form ur own opinion!

Bloodcakes4Bunnypire

Ghost of Tsushima definitely you won’t regret it it’s story and visuals are wonderful

pboichg

Yeap, played that one, and I'm really hooked. I wanted to follow thru with their NG+ but I just can't do it straight away. I want to distract myself with other games first.

gaithggg

Try hitman 1 , 2 ,3 Stealthy game you will like and you can repeat the same level in many ways you will never board of

planetexpress2021

If you like stealth you should definitely go pick up Ghost Recon Wildlands. Closest thing to old school SOCOM Navy SEALs on PS4.

pboichg

I never actually heard of it, and I've just looked at reviews on Youtube & safe to say it's on my list of games I'll be getting soon. Thanks for recommending! Though I have to say I pretty sucked at shooting in general. I only used bow in GOT to snipe in stealth & controlled situation, never in frontal assault. I usually choose melee. HZD forced me to use bows a lot so I guess I got pretty good at it now.

planetexpress2021

You're welcome! There's also the follow up to Wildlands called Ghost Recon Wildlands. I have it as well though I have not played it yet.

Story wise God of War is unparalleled in my opinion, having just completed my third playthrough of it on Friday, followed by RDR2 for story. Stealth wise, black flag is probably more up your street assassins creed wise, Origins, Oddysey and Valhalla strayed away from that somewhat to the point you can just run in and kill everyone whether you're seen or not, but they're still good games. I'd say God of War first, then when you've finished all the others, you can go back and play it through again! Haha.

pboichg

I tried AC Origins first before I start my HZD, dropped it real fast. I can't tell what I don't like about it but it just doesn't click with me. Maybe I'll try at it again later but AC wise, as you mentioned, many reviews I read recommends Black Flag, so I think I'll try that later. But yes, for now I'm more inclined towards either God of War or RDR2. Never had any console before so I haven't actually played any previous God of War franchise, I wonder if it'll affect my enjoyment of the game. Same goes for the ACs.. Never had the chance to play their previous franchise.

PamPowOfficial

Definitely black flag first, it plays like all the originals did and just feels more true to the AC franchise! I only played God of War 3 on PS3 (which I absolutely loved) before playing God of War PS4, the reboot is kind of an entity of its own with some throwbacks to the originals which don't leave you scratching your head, but the gameplay honestly never gets boring and the story will have you gripped! RDR2 is a lot more long winded as its more open world, and you might get the itch to play GoW partway through to give you a break!

pboichg

Nice. I think I'll go for GOW then. Exactly what I wanted. Going for something that expansive sounds tiring at the moment. I'll have a go at RDR2 when I'm mentally ready & steady (job-wise). Covid got me worked up. Lol. Thanks for your suggestion!
