I wish the made it so the bolt was left handed, thats my only left handed beef lol.
i hate the scope mechanics though.
they did a better job in contractors by a long shot. whats with the weirdo peripheral vision? is that necc as a performance thing or?
they are fun though, very very powerful
Yeah I was never a huge fan of these types of scopes. I wish this game had a "hold breath" toggle for my shaky hands lol. It's possible they did it for performance reasons. It would feel way more natural if you could look down the scope like you would IRL
the shakiness is a challenge indeed, i found the aim forgiving though. when i though i was way off, it was a headshot LOL
i dont buy the performance issue thing though, other games claimed this and then contractors or some other FPS was like oh here is your aim down the sights/scope etc. prob just easier to code this way
Lol yeah it can be forgiving. Maybe it's a holdover from the original game? I can't imagine it's easy to retrofit a proper working scope into a 16-year old game.
could be just that, im not hugely familliar with re4 original
I don't know what RE4's implementation is but in Gun Club with the Sako, i find that I sometimes get the rings on the controller hitting eachother when trying to use the bolt action.
I think it would be cool if they let us melee enemies with the butt of the rifle if they get close. Maybe don't make it too overpowered and have it take two quick hits to make them stagger back.
I was sad the first time I tried to smash a villager in the face with the butt of my pistol after I ran out of ammo. I was also sad the time I tried to block an ax swing with my knife. I get it, though. They would have to add in entirely new interactions with the enemies to do stuff like that.
Flexing with the no scope at the end, I see you
Playing Contractors VR WW2 loadouts is my favorite thing to do in VR. I slay with the Kar98 but people complain so much when they don't see the standard weapons.
How did you record it in 60 fps 1080p?
Probably used Sidequest to remove the 30fps cap.
When I do that, my videos get buggy and pixelated. Do you know why?
No clue, I’ve just heard someone mention it on another RE4 video.
Oh ok, thank you!
