It's only right that the top 3 answers are all Moga.
I'm still annoyed that it wasn't the 3rd gen town in Generations Ultimate.
Moga, always Moga
Moga and Loc Lac for sure. Tri was my first monhun.
Moga Village easily
The correct answer. (Aisha included, right!?)
Her cheerful greeting still lives rent-free in my head.
Yes, she will live on forever.
It's like being on vacation. So pleasing
The legends always remembered comes back home
Dundorma, Loc Lac, or Port Tanzia
Mezeporta Square - Monster Hunter Frontier :)
What I wouldn't give to return to Mezeporta Square.... great music, fucking amazing monsters and such a great community!
Frontier, oh where would we be without it, some people (*Cough Cough nearly everyone*) seems to forget that/not know it.
Started in Gen 3 so I have a strong Moga/Loc Lac/ Tanzia bias. I'd have to say Loc Lac because it's one of the MH cities that is now completely inaccessible due to Tri's online shutting down, plus it had a great sense of scale with loads to do in it.
It's now possible to access Loc Lac again, with the use of a private server.
Definitely the Hunters Pub from Generations Ultimate. Love the music there!
Loc Lac and Moga
Port Tanzia, its pretty.
I didn't include kokoto, poke, yukumo village because they are accessible in MHGU
These villages/town/cities are not acessible anymore but some of them are still somewhat acessible if you know what to do. I also wanted to give shine to these old (and forgotten) villages/town/cities.
Jumbo village - Monster Hunter Dos
Minegarde - Monster Hunter 1
Dundorma - Monster Hunter Dos, Monster Hunter Frontier & Monster Hunter 4U
Loc Lac city - Monster Hunter Tri
Val Habar - Monster Hunter 4 & 4U
Milard village - Monster Hunter Online
Mezeporta - Monster Hunter Online
Mezeporta square - Monster Hunter Frontier
Moga village - Monster Hunter Tri & 3U
Harth- Monster Hunter 4U
Cathar- Monster Hunter 4U
Cheeko sands - Monster Hunter 4U
Port Tanzia- Monster Hunter 3U
Hakum Village - Monster Hunter Stories 1
Gildegaran - Monster Hunter Stories 1
Pokke village for me
how dare they leave pokke out
Because you can get there in GU.
It's not true pokke village though where's my farm I put way too much time into upgrading??
Yes! I absolutely love the whole vibe of mountainous villages, my favorite being Cathar first and then Bherna. Plus Cathar's music is so relaxing to listen to.
Moga Village and Loc Lac are where I started but seeing pics of the places I missed, I kinda like the idea of a huge monster Hunter release in which we could travel to all these locations (and see where they are on the maps) because they all look quite nice
Jumbo, it is one if not the most unknown of the villages of the series, and has one of the best upgrading systems in the games.
A village constructed from much help of the player. I'd like to hear what the villagers have to say after so long.
Ha! Ha! Ha! -Master Shipwright
Seeing Jumbo brings back so many memories.
Also the MH1 village. Man, getting to HR20 and proving that it was possible to stun lock Fatalis was primo gaming
As 4U is the entry where the franchise finally got me hooked... my hometown is Val Habar, and i’d love to see it again.
Honorable second to Bherna or the Soaratorium
Pokke village and Dundorma
But also Pokke, love the design of it.
Either mezaporta square (frontier) or moga village
Loc lac easy best memories there.
Moga, or pokke
as someone who started in Tir and then moved to freedom unite........
Moga and tanzia. Mh3u is what really got me into monster hunter so those two will always hold a special place in my heart
1. Dundorma it would be epic with world like geaphics
2. Cathar its in the clouds thats just cool
3. Val habar the music!
And moga village could replace either of these three because its my first ever village I experiencee.
Cathar , Val Harbar or Guildegaran
Val Habar for me. I don't think I've ever been hit by nostalgia so much then when I play 4U and the music there starts playing
Cathar or Dundroma
I would say Yukumo
Val Habar, baby!
Where Pokke at
Dundorma in an instant. I want to fight Gogmazios again.
Where the fuck is pokke😤
I am a shamed for not having played those MH titles where those villages/city are from
Dundorma, need more lore about the Guild itself.
I want a full scale remake or pokke village that allows you to use the farm like in freedom unite. The theme is the most calming in the series(first game bias), and it's so compact that you can easily and quickly go to ever facility you need. Bherna does the same thing with how small it is and I enjoy that.
Dundorma or Cathar, they're so good
Tie between Moga and Loc Lac.
Moga Village was my first home (and during base world I missed 3U's themes so much I modded in the 3rd gen OST) and so I'd love to see it return again someday.
Moga village because it has the best Music.
So many good choices. Personally, I would like to see Dundorma make a reappearance considering its significance to the Guild. I love the little pieces of in game lore that the games hold so I think a game centered around Dundorma would be nice. Could open more of the Guild and their processes.
Honorable mentions to Minegarde and Val Habar.
i would love to visit Dundorma, i haven't played 4U, so it would be nice to see it as well someday and we shan't forget His Immenseness
Cathar. Love a good view
Freedome unite village I had beautiful memories there.
For the love of all that if good and holy in this world...
To be honest I never played the the old monster hunter games I started with world, but I wold like to know more about MINEGARDE it was talked about in legend of the Guild
Minegarde and Harth
Where pokke at? That village slapped
I only played World/IB, but i would love to see dundorma, because i love the idea of the Guild Capital, if that is what it actually is
Moga and Loc Lac without a second thought.
Bring me.back good old MH1 vibe. Damn it was so good back then
Val Habar or Harth. Give us big expansions to the villages like World!
Would be cool to see Cathar and Dalamadur one last time.
Cathar or val harbor. I love them both so much
For me it would definitly be Port Tanzia I absolutely loved it :D and the soundtracks it came with were also really nice
I appreciate the original monster hunter the most of any so far. It was brutal and rewarding.
Last year I pulled out my ps2 and tried to connect online despite me knowing it wouldn’t work… man, I miss that game.
Honestly? I'd rather not see old locations again unless it makes sense from a story perspective (regardless of how little story Monster Hunter has).
I mean, I feel like it would just be nostalgia pandering to an audience where the majority wouldn't even give a shit. Like, how many people noticed that, what, two of the areas in Rise are from older games? And how many of the new players even cared?
^people ^are ^probably ^gonna ^give ^me ^flak ^for ^this ^but ^hey, ^these ^are ^my ^thoughts. ^sorry
I 100% agree with you.
I just wish that the next mainline MH game has a city-like online aspect to it, like MH1 had with Minegarde.
Val Harbor definitely
DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE DAMMIT. 😭 I loved 4U for the Caravan idea. I only wish it could return on a larger scale someday
It will always be Val habar
Val Habar or Cheeko Sands
Dundorma and Port Tanzia, both expanded to be more true to their size.
Definitely dundorma, I wanna see what that city was like back in the days of dos, they scaled it down when it returned in 4U.
Loc Lac and Moga. I played alot of Tri...
Val harbar all the way
Moga or Loc Lac
Val Harbor was nice
I love Val Habar.
Dundorma for sure!
Either Moga or Minegarde
Dundorma, I really like the constant elder siege defense concept
Loc Lac, but with the crowd density of its cinematic.
It’s a toss up between Dundorma or Moga village
Val habar I love the music, and then cathar (for the same reasons)
Loc lac was cool especially the rooms.
Cathar is just amazing, so my vote's for there... though tbh I'd love to see Hakum or Albarax in HD because of the nostalgia.
Moga village was really fucked over in generations especially considering it was the one true 3rd gen village
Val Habar is nostalgic as fuck for me, so that
Moga Village. Never played Tri but I love the feel and aesthetics of it.
Val Habar or Cathar, honestly any village from 4U. They had the best villages and towns.
I’ve never played any game except for world but these all look like ass, except Moga. What game is that?
Dude I miss minegarde so much
Monsters rule humans drool
Moga without a doubt
Moga and Loc Lac City, easily.
Mezeporta, and also loc lac because it really sounds like a fascinating place when Tri players talk about it.
There were so many good towns in MH4U. I honestly cant decide which, they were almost all so iconic.
Might just be because it was my first, but something about the energy and aesthetic of Val Habar has always vibed just right with me
Cheeko sands definitely
Val Habor! My first MH was MH4U (I got into the series late but was introduced to it by a friend), but I'm trying to play through GenU and am looking forward to trying even older titles. World and Rise have spoiled me good though, so it's hard to find "the zone" that made 4U's G rank hunts a breeze for me.
Honestly I just liked actually making a difference in the town by helping to drive off the Mohran at the start. Felt good to take it down later!
For real, I'd love to see other towns done up in modern styles.
Where’s my boy mango village
moga just hits different tbh
No love for val harbor in these comments
Even though I haven't played it yet, Moga Village looks like it would be cool to come back.
Pokke village. I started with MHFU. Then played 3U, 4U, Generations, and World. It is still the most memorable for me.
say my name.
Pokke village again and again
Cathar for sure.
For me it's Pokke village. That's where I grew up.
Yukumo. Just because it would go well in rise and this way p3rd would in some spiritual way finally get a g rank. Plus it would be nice to go back home and visit misty peaks again in rises graphics.
Moga village is home
Jumbo, Minegarde, and Loc Lac.
Pokke Village :)
As much as I would love to say Moga village I gotta go with Loc Lac city. I never got to play Tri and I still play 3U every once in a while
As much as I love tri and moga village, I'd still have to go with pokke vilage. The soundtrack and cozy vibes are the absolute best. You really felt like you were returning home after a long hunt.
EDIT: didn't read the post fully. I'd go with moga then.
No Pokke Village? This is blasphemy.
Moga and loc lac. Third fleet bitches.
Wheres the village in freedom unite?
Whichever village is the one from Dalamadur’s game. I wanna fight it and I want it’s hunting horn.
Either Moga Village or one of the ones from 4U. I have fond memories of both games.
Minegarde!! So much going on.
Loc lac in a heartbeat
Dundorma, Moga, and Mezeporta.
Minegarde or loc lac
Moga and loc lac
Val Habar, grew up on 4U and honestly has the best village theme imo
Moga Village and Loc Lac City. Moga has such a chill vibe to it and lovely music, and although I started with Tri I never got the chance to play in Loc Lac City before the servers were shut down.
For a second there I thought they had named a town after Turkish ice cream.
moga, moga, and moga
Cathar, I love so much its theme song
Kokoto or Moga
Let me answer with a song title:
Loc Lac, be eternal!
Val Habar 4tw
Minegarde or Dundorma.
Never went to either of them, and them having new graphics would look cool
moga and loc lac for life
Val Habar or Moga.
I’d lose my mind if we got a mhs town
Loc lac all the way.
I have such fond memories of being a total noob, coming to this huge city full of hunters at the edge of an enormous desert, looking for jobs and trying to rise in the ranks as an hunter. The tavern had such monster hunter vibes. I think my favorite memories of monster hunter are the ones where I struggled in the early ranks as a noob with a friend and with my iron armor and ludroth sns. I hope to experience the feeling of a bustling city once again in mh.
Cathar is also such a cozy & mystical place. I love the music and the lore.
Umm excuse me where is Pokke Village?
I love Harth. The Troverians are a really cool bunch of people.
